Taking a break or not (54,550) by Malcolm from Asia I said in my previous posts that Mariah must take a break but as I read some post regarding of her not taking a break at this moment of her career, I think it is right but their is still a part of me saying that she can take a break to make a comeback on charts. But let's take Janet Jackson as a sample for that, we all know the public is missing Janet and even Billboard wrote an article for her to make a comeback but is it enough for her to top the charts when it comes the time she release an album? Well, we'll see and if it is successful I think it's time for Mariah to do it too. But as what I have seen on Rihanna taking a long break and comeback this year, I think it's not working at all. Only her first recent single is charted on top 5 (but Rihanna is known for making hit singles so it's expected to top the charts). Her second single only charts on top 20 and the recent one is a flop. If Mariah chooses on not taking a break, she and her team must fix her image first and if she not want to be misunderstood, address the things that letting the public to misunderstand her. Stop on pin-pointing of having 18 #1s and let the media mention it, lessen the diva attitude, stop using whistles on every song and use it if it is a must, stop using "Butterfly" as an outro on performances because it is becoming corny as the time goes by and most importantly, work on new producers and make some new beats. In other words, stop the old traditions and make a new one. (Friday 12 June 2015; 0:47)

Lively Mariah / Lee TS (54,335) by Malcolm from Asia Today, I just randomly want to watch Christmas music videos of Mariah (I think part of my me want me to watch those, the festive MC, because of some bad news that coming to Mariah these days). When I watch "When Christmas Comes" I had goosebumps and teary-eyed seeing Mariah that happy in those moments, she had complete and happy family and her aura and movements are so lively. I'm so obsessed and crying my heart out loud to see that specific part of the MV when Mariah is playing with Snoopy and the kids outside the snow because she is happily running and being genuinely enjoyed. I agree with Lee TS on being irked to Mariah because she always being escorted by someone like if she doesn't know how to walk. So whenever I see that part on WCC MV, it's saddens me that she is not acting like that now, I want it for her to do that again in her future music videos, live performances and especially in reality and not being awkward when moves around. I honestly believe that it is one of the few things that Mariah must do and learn to work out for her to be love by the public again: be lively. We don't need the dancing Mariah and other antics, being lively in every performances (plus a great outfit and unrevealing dress occasionally) will satisfy the people and hopefully will relate to her as what as she just did on that music video and in 90's performances of hers. Issues (54,120) by Malcolm from Asia I think it's time to Mariah to address all the issues surrounded about her in a tell-all interview, whether it's on Diane Sawyer or Oprah at least it's a credible show. It's time to take away the diva side of hers and be "real" because now, people are not really taking her seriously and sees her as a diva and a woman wearing only sparkly gowns. Mariah must address (1) the divorce, (2) what she feels about the last album's sales and recent singles and what she really thinks gone wrong or the problem, (3) about her departure from Island Def Jam and her comeback at Epic, (4) and recently and the most important to her talk about is the issue involving her brother's statement about her (if it's true). Mariah, please, be straight forward and handle the issues maturely, I'm sick of you having this diva attitude that covering your true identity. If you live in a "bubble" as some saying please someone call your mother and pop it out and live with her together with your kids. I said in my recent post that I want only good vibes for her but after I read Morgan's statement, I'm terrified. If she will continue to avoid these things, it will continue and will ruin her image. I'm not concerned in her music career as of now, if it's flop or not, my only concern is her, as a person. Just have a tell-all interview, be genuine in answering all the questions and go away, hire a life coach, reflect, be with your mother and have some private time with your family. Infinity trends (54,038) by Malcolm from Asia So infinity is now released and for me, even if it's not what I've expected, I just want to have good vibes for it and for MC and after all it is better video compared to YME, she looks radiant and stunning and nice cinematography. Infinity also now trending worldwide and it's interesting because in the United States trend, Infinity is at #2 and the #1 spot is the "Beatles recipe". I don't know if it is about the band The Beatles but it's ironic to see that another "Beatles" is blocking MC to the top spot like in Billboard haha. Just for laughs Lambs, have a nice day. I hoped that the MV will help the Infinity to return to the BB100 and I wish it climbs at least to the top 50. (Tuesday 2 June 2015; 11:47)

Re: Bino (53,853) by Malcolm from Asia Yes, she earned that respect a long time ago but this generation, they doesn't respect Mariah as she must be. Let's face the reality that MC is not earning that respect from them; I always checked whenever she mentions on websites etc. the comments are mostly bad and harsh about her and I will not elaborate why did that happened because we all know what it is. As for her career's condition now and how the public/non-lambs sees her, she and her team must plan every step and every move that they will make, so that Mariah Carey will be pleasant again to the public eye and eventually see her big contributions to the music industry and give the respect that she deserves. Memories and rants clips (53,845) by Malcolm from Asia I think it's normal that Mariah is saying something "not nice" or criticizing her music videos because that is the way she remembers it. But on the other side, I also understand why the others are being negative about it because it has a right way to say it or do it. For me, it must have been pleasant and respectable if she is sitting like she is doing interviews (darker room, the light is on her, presentable dress and she is looking at the interviewer not on the camera) because that should legends and icons do and to earn her respect from non-lambs. She must not concentrate on the small stuff only, she must have say things that will left an impact to the people. Her recent interviews are great but why they let that clips to happen, they must have planned it. Mariah isn't young anymore to present herself like that in public, it must be having substance yet entertaining (ex: Madonna, Cher, Beyonce). Sorry MC. (Friday 29 May 2015; 14:45)

Infinity music video (53,801) by Malcolm from Asia So MC is uploading a video of her "memories (and rants)" from each of her #1 singles from her facebook. As I have noticed, she might upload one video per day and I have a feeling that we might be getting the Infinity MV after all the 18 #1s memory videos are uploaded (that is less than 17 days ). More than 1 month after the single release? That's too much, is there anybody who knows a singer releases his/her MV months after the song released? Well after all, I love Mariah more than that MV so I just hope that it is worth the wait and not a typical MV, it must be something different, fresh, and new. Have a nice day Lambily. Infinity (53,674) by Malcolm from Asia I'm so happy that as of now, Infinity climb to the 100 bracket in iTunes chart. I wish it will continue to climb and boost up to the top 50 again. As for her performances, I'm so very happy because it is fantastic, I think if she will perform more and more, the rawness of her voice will eventually be back and I hope Mariah will follow Celine's advice about the humidifier (please someone correct me if she is using it already). About the music video, has someone any updates about it? The long wait must be over but I think she will release it on May 27 as the 1 month of Infinity. Have a nice day Lambily. AIWFCIY worst vs. best / hiatus (53,315) by Malcolm from Asia I just watched the AIWFCIY performance of MC in Beacon Theatre and it sounds fantastic. I wish someone leaked the mic-feed of it so that the public will know that Mariah still sounds good. It's very unfair and sad that the media is bringing her down or treat her as irrelevant, she must be treated as a legend by now. Many times I think of this thought: What if Mariah will take a 1-2 years break from media, performing, guesting, posting online etc. and focusing on her next album only secretly, no paparazzi. (Okay somehow, I'm referring what Janet Jackson does now haha.) Although it's hard for us not see any update from Mariah but I think it can help to bring back her charisma from the public once they notice she's gone. She can focus, be inspired, be fit (especially) and relax in many ways, and by that it can reflect to the music she will make and it will be better. And I'm imagining by the time she will be seen in public again, it will be hot if she debuts a short locks hair or a very straight black hair (for a big change and new take on her), her 90's eyebrows (the thick and natural one) I'm so sick on her brows lately, it's so very thin and light, and the "American Idol" body and aura plus very good and very young stylist. It will be fabulous, the public will see a new and exciting Mariah Carey like she used to before and that is a very much clean slate for her. (Thursday 14 May 2015; 21:20)

We must climb "Infinity" up to the charts (53,107) by Malcolm from Asia Lambs, stop the negativity, stop the bad vibes on this board. What we must be doing is help streaming and requesting on radio stations so that Infinity can climb up to the charts. We can do it. Help MC bring back her name up to the top 20 of BB and to discover her music of this young generation. I wish MC will release the Infinity MV this week (does anyone have any info of what day MC will release it?) because as we know, T. Swift will premiere her Bad Blood MV next week. I hope Mariah and her team will not release it in same week as Taylor''s because Taylor Swift is undeniably the top artist of this generation. They must know the fact that she cannot compete with Taylor as it will become cheap and a lose-lose situation for MC. I hope Mariah and Taylor will meet at the BB Music Awards and take some photos, it is a very good promotion for Mariah and I wish they will have a collaboration in the future; "90s-00s queen meets the 10s reigning queen of pop music". Mariah Carey (52,729) by Malcolm from Asia Hi, I just want to say what I'm about to say on this message is because of my love for Mariah and I am a kind of fan who wants the best from her even though it hurts. I would like to say that Mariah Carey must be true to herself now, must be a people-person (I don't like to compare her with these singers but I think she must schedule a personality-development from them and learned from it: Beyonce, Jennifer Lopez, Celine Dion). These singers are just cool, they're just genuine, kind, and you will see their realness in them as a person. This generation is sick and tired of Mariah's diva antics (yhe way she welcomes in Vegas, she is eternally 17 duh duh etc.), as she age, her personality are going back to a child. Now, everyone loves female singers who are driven, having a strong personality and being true to themselves, no gimmicks etc. Mariah Carey loses her charm and mostly her class as she ages. Some people treat her as a joke so on and so forth and it is very painful for me. I miss when she was wearing clothes that are not "gowns" or not diva-ish type of outfits. I'm hoping that all of these is not her personality at all, I wish I can love her too as a person like her as a performer and singer. P.S. Criticism on Infinity (52,539) by Malcolm from Asia First of all I truly understand the lambs who criticize this song or Mariah's voice as well, I think it will only stop if MC admit to herself that her voice/tone changed and embrace it. Because for me, "we" are just acting like this because everyone has this high expectation from her that is truly understandable because she is undeniably one of the greatest vocalist of all time and she lives with it but once she accepts her limitations and changes on her voice and sings what she only can, we will be calmer and the rest of the world will accept and love her again. The only formula for that is self acceptance and loving yourself more like what she is saying on this Infinity song, I hope she embodies that. (Wednesday 29 April 2015; 12:46)

Undone mv (52,487) by Malcolm from Asia I'm disappointed when Mimi says the music video for Infinity is still in the works. I thought they planned it for a long time, they shoot and finish it ahead of the release of Infinity. I wish the mv will don't look in hurry shooting it and making it like the lyric video. If the mv is already done, it will be helpful boost the sale of Infinity this week. But as we are saying on this board, what do we know? Maybe this is planned, I hope so. Love Infinity (52,374) by Malcolm from Asia I understand those who don't like that much the Infinity because even myself is expecting like a WBT-ish or DFAU-ish style of music. But I realize that it doesn't matter anyway because the song is really good, we are acting like this because we are not used to Mariah releasing that kind of music and she is in her 40s so she will not sound like she used to before but she can still really sing, it is just the tone of her voice is not like in the past years. We must face the fact that this is the reality right now, people wants older artist to have a younger-friendly and catchy sound to relate it to them. And as what I have seen today, MC really charting again and I'm so thrilled by that and I think Epic has more plans for Mariah's next full length album. I believe this song is just a warm-up for all of us and we can expect more from MC as long as she is in the right team. (Monday 27 April 2015; 17:08)

Giselle #1 Mariah critic / newcomer lamb (52,268) by Malcolm from Asia Ow. Now I see, I certainly know only a little bit about our Mimi haha. But when I'm reading on this messageboard my knowledge about her is growing and I'm fascinated by you all. I will call myself a newcomer lamb because I only admire her early last year and I'm somewhat irritated when I think that I wasn't able to see her shine in the 90s and appreciates her music before. I'm so jealous for those who witness the historic, iconic 90s Mariah until this day. But now when I hear her music, she touches me and introducing those "moments" whom I miss. Giselle #1 Mariah critic (52,248) by Malcolm from Asia Correction Ms. Giselle it's Wendy Williams btw. Hi. I agree with you, Wendy used to admire Mariah in late 90s but something happened between them in her radio talkshow. I feel that Mariah likes Wendy before but after that trash talking of Wendy on her, she just lose her respect for Wendy. She even mentioned Wendy in Touch My Body. And to Wendy, I think she is just being bitter to Mariah after that incident but sometime in her talk show she praises Mariah I think 3 times. But another incident happened, Mariah's team wants to guest her on the Wendy Williams show (or Wendy's team wants her on it to increase their ratings lol) but Mariah demand to sit opposite of the normal sitting of the guest and then Wendy Williams allegedly "declined" Mariah to guest her on the talk show unless she sits on the normal sitting of the guest. And after that she continues her bitterness towards Mariah and it's worse than ever. (Sunday 26 April 2015; 18:12)

Mariah's progress in weight (52,009) by Malcolm from Asia I'm so glad that I see some progress on Mariah losing weight. I think she only needs a good management team and great environment that is happening now with her in Epic and new handlers on her career. I guess in 6 months we can all see the American Idol era weight that we're waiting for and if that happens all photoshop issues will be worth it because she can proudly say that I can be that again, just wait and see. #1 To Infinity album cover (51,929) by Malcolm from Asia As a lamb i'm disappointed on the album cover of our queen. I thought from now on, she will be more realistic in her cover and embrace her real body but no she chooses the other path, stick to the manipulating and stuff. I think she will be more loved by many of this generation if she will be true to her self and be a genuine person like she used to. She is now covered by her diva attitude etc, but I will give her the benefit of the doubt because I truly love her and adore her as an artist. I am so desperate to see the real kind, having a personality and special Mariah Carey. I want to talk to her now and hug her and ask why she is acting like this, why she did this and not being true to her self. We celebrate her music, I wish we can celebrate her true personality too.
