About Malcolm from Asia:

Re: Mariah going on tour with Lionel Ritchie (69,821) (69,829) by Malcolm from Asia
I think this tour will be a good exposure for the next album. If Mariah will only perform a few songs a night then it's okay because she can still write/record songs within that period. And like what RibbonB said, Mariah can learn a lot from Lionel, it'll be a fresh and great environment for her because she will be surrounded by a professional, mature and respectable artist.

Re: Mariah going on tour with Lionel Ritchie (69,819) (69,825) by Malcolm from Asia
I'm all for it as long as there will be an Endless Love duet. Looks like our girl is going hard with the promotions ahead of the new album. Sweet Sweet Fantasy Tour + MAC Collaboration + Mariah's World + All The Hits with Lionel Richie + Vegas show + the scripted series that she mentioned in Variety = #1 album, well I hope it is.

Re: Mariah and other female singers (69,813) (69,814) by Malcolm from Asia
Don't forget Lady Gaga and Rihanna. Maybe Mariah just doesn't really know them or listens to them? Mariah is old school so I guess that's why. I think if Selena or Ariana will go to her concert, she will eventually know them. They must do the first move for them to be noticed by her. Look at Tori Kelly, Fifth Harmony and Sam Smith, they reached her first and now Mariah knows them.

Beyonce at Mariah's Beacon show (69,801) by Malcolm from Asia
So nice of Beyonce attending Mariah's show together with her daughter Blue Ivy. I love it, they made my day complete.

Re: Variety interview (69,725) (69,742) by Malcolm from Asia
Well this is one of it. I hate them, their reactions hurt me. They disclaimed that they don't spread hate but they obviously pick her bad performances and poke fun on her, they are such bullies. These people are the ones who acts like Beyonce is the bitch and the queen of all things, too bad they're not aware that even their queen lip syncs, she's just so good at it, you too Celine.

Variety interview (69,717) by Malcolm from Asia
This is one of the best interview she's done this year.
Q: Are there any other shows that you would like to guest star on?
M: Not really. I'm happy to be doing my own show. And there's another show that we're talking about that's more of a scripted series, but I'll tell you that when I can.
Q: Is there anyone you are dying to collaborate in the studio?
M: Oh yes, but I'm not telling. [laughs] There are a few and we're working on it now.
There's so many things to look forward to for next year, I just hope she will do the best in all of this things especially with the next album. Don't disappoint us with that remark about your upcoming collaborations, gosh i'm excited. Still love ya.

AIWFCIY (69,714) by Malcolm from Asia
I don't think it will hit #1 this year but instead reach top 5 or within the 6-9 spot. Zayn and Taylor Swift recently release a duet and I think it will go straight to the top plus AIWFCIY is only charting on itunes within the top 20. Maybe next year?

Re: Bodysuit (69,684) (69,703) by Malcolm from Asia
She really needs a better stylist. She looked like she can be the wife of Grinch or something. She's better than this, don't really get why it's so hard for her to dressed properly with all that money she have.

When Christmas Comes "Live" with John Legend (69,240) by Malcolm from Asia
What is this Mariah? You sound like a chipmunk I can't, or should I say your backing track sounds like a chipmunk. The nerve of you to lip sync in front of your duet partner is beyond, don't really know if I can still call you a singer. Yeah maybe your reason why you lip syncs is to preserve your voice, but for what? For recording a bunch of songs in the studio that you can't replicate live? It's a shame to invite John Legend with you on stage and you're just there trying to look like you're singing, girl that is the time you must use that voice 100%, give some respect to him. It's bleak. You're bleak. I can imagine John Legend talking about what you did with Chrissy Teigen and Chrissy probably lost her respect for you. Stop raising the bar too much, enough with that already because you can't clearly sustains it anymore. All I want for the next album is for you to showcase what is left on your voice and make sure you can sing all of that 100% live.

Re: Stelle is here to stay (69,181) (69,195) by Malcolm from Asia
She's bleak, dahling, she's bleak lol. I just hope that she will be as active as she is now with this side projects when it comes the time for Mariah to release new music, because if not, Mariah is in big trouble.

Re: Beacon ensemble (69,178) (69,194) by Malcolm from Asia
Mariah obviously gains weight again. Not that I'm shaming her because I think that's what really suits with her face (a natural and normal body). I advice her to really work out and shed the weight naturally this time, I hope she won't do what she did in December 2015 where she suddenly lose weight.

Re: MW episode 1 : Mimi L review (69,083) (69,095) by Malcolm from Asia
Mariah's World is no doubt a reality show even though how much Mariah defends that it's not. I agree with that Molly part, that alone shouts that it's not a docu-series, not to mention the super sketchy feel with that situation, looks really scripted and I'm sure Stella loves it and she's not bothered to hide it. I'm thankful that it's not that really a trainwreck (I hope it stays like that for the rest of the episodes) but on the other hand, I'm quite disappointed on how they put the scenes all together because some moments were cute and great but it feels like it's disoriented, in short, it's not bad but it's not that great either. One thing that I realize watching the first episode is how Mariah really is a great and loving mother to Roc and Roe and how these kids love their mother so much, now that's the part you can't be staged.

Divas Holiday: Unsilent Night (69,060) by Malcolm from Asia
She lost her passion. All she wants right now is the attention and not the artistry anymore. Of course she don't want to be in that curtain call because she's too big for that. And she opened the show, will she wait there for a few hours just to be with the other singers at the end? Of course not, she's Mariah Carey, she must be the one who keeps everyone waiting. I know she can sing completely live, she just lost the enthusiasm, she got too lazy to put some work. All I want for Christmas is for her to do a raw, live performance like what she did in Jimmy Fallon. Don't fool everyone Mariah, it's unfair. Accept that your voice has changed and have limitations now and embrace it, I bet everyone will love and respect you even more as a musician and will probably credit your contribution in the music industry the way it must be. I hope you will soon realize that diamonds are not forever. Wishing you more genuine happiness and essence this coming 2017.

Wendy Williams (68,922) by Malcolm from Asia
So much truth bombs Wendy. I have to agree 100%. Mariah please wake up, you look desperate. You don't have to do all of this in the first place, like what Wendy said, this all beneath you. It hurts so much as a fan to see her go down like this, fine I can digest her diva antics because she's been like that since forever but for this past 2 years, it's beyond. She reached a new peak of trashiness, it's all in a cute way before, but now it's all [censored] up, honestly trashier than the Kardashians. [censored] you Stella for enabling all of this, you should help her rebuild her image and career like a legend that she is, not like this. She doesn't deserve this, she needs a management that controls and guides her all through out. Nicki, Eminem, and JLo are probably laughing their ass off to see her like this because all 3 of them look more successful, contented, smart, and decent compared to her honestly speaking. She completely downgrades herself. It's disgusting, it breaks my heart.

Mess (68,913) by Malcolm from Asia
Image? Mess
Relationships? Mess
Management? M-E-S-S
Dear oh Lord, this next album should be an amazing one because if not, what else is left for this poor legend? And P.S. Mariah, if you want to pull stunts like this, at least put some clothes that fits and looks good with your body. You don't have that 1998/2008 body anymore, please have mercy on yourself. Have some class while doing it because you looked like an amateur with these kind of things. Enjoy the ride, just so you know that even if you achieve the relevancy that you and your team wants, that's not mean you will have a #1 album and hits next year, I'm afraid that it will cause you more damage, hope not. Oh Mariah. *insert Xtina's voice*

I love it. I love how they use Supernatural as the theme song, it fits.

Re: Ellen appearance (68,635) (68,638) by Malcolm from Asia
She was more beautiful and natural in her 2014 appearance compared on this recent one. I can't with her face, it looks more worse. Her attitude on that show, I cringe, a lot of comments said she is the most boring guest ever and I can't disagree with that, she's such a kill joy. There would have been a round of "Who'd You Rather?" but Ellen just stopped it because Mariah says a lot of unnecessary stuff. Ellen was like "don't complicate the game" and the audience's reaction was like "is she even for real?", like just play the goddamn game Mariah. That interview doesn't have any substance already and yet she acts like that, what's even the point of going there? Watching Ellen, you will know easily if she is enjoying her guest, and clearly Mariah is not included there. Ellen looks irritated by her and just want to end that "nothing important, nothing enjoyable" interview. Sigh, not cool Mariah.

Another chart success / stability (68,588) by Malcolm from Asia
As much as I want her to have at least one another hit, the sad truth is it seems unlikely to happen. You can only imagine how thirsty a millennial fan to see Mariah shine on charts once more. #Beautiful was her only single that I really witnessed to climb on BB100 and its music video was her only video I really witnessed that is pretty decent and well made. I can't deny it, I want to experience what you guys had felt when Mariah had her glory days so [censored] bad. But I know in reality that there's so much things to be done and to conquer for her to have another 2005 moment (ageism, top-notch management that is willing to rebuild a 46 y/o artist's career etc.). Having said that, my ultimate wish for her is to just have a stable life and mind, smart decisions for her kids' future, raw live performances, albums that will represents a pure body of work, and a career that doesn't shouts validation from people but instead enjoying what's left on her legendary status. I just want to feel that she is secured and she is a strong independent mature woman. If she will embodies all of this, it's enough to say that she "slays". And hey, I will still watch Mariah's World, I would't miss it for the world. I miss so many moments from her career already just to deprive myself on watching it. I know there will be a lot of "yikes" moment but heck it's Mariah, I still want to know what goes behind the scenes. Maybe I will get disappointed about it, but I will just move on and wait for the release of her new music.

Mariah Carey x Mac Cosmetics (68,528) by Malcolm from Asia
I'm glad everyone loves her Mac collaboration, like it's beyond. They are all saying that it looks like really a luxury item. That whole packaging is so beautiful as well. I think this is the first review for her collection that is out there.

Clevver TV's divas you used to love (and still do) (68,453) by Malcolm from Asia
So Clevver TV (this generation's music news channel ) had made a breakdown for some of the female artists. In all fairness, they praise Mariah and gave importance to her by putting her first and showing her at the end credits of the video. Here are some of their commentaries:
Mariah Carey - Ultimate diva, epitome of a diva, OG diva, prototype diva, smartest diva, have "diva" reputation, our generation of diva.
Christina Aguilera - Sassy diva, full of confidence, rebellious diva, a pain to work with, diva voice.
Britney Spears - She's in a different category, more of a pop star not a diva, have a kind demeanor.
Madonna - Another OG Diva, insufferable, she's like a leader, have big "diva" reputation, there's a fear in her diva, she could decapitate a person, queen of divas.
Alicia Keys - Loveliest human being ever, humble, down to earth, chill, she's the kind of diva you want to be, too talented, too nice to be a diva, boss ass bitch.
Beyonce - She's a female version of hustler, she's on her planet of diva, not a human (of course they all treat her as a big deal )
Katy Perry - More laid back, pop star bubble gum, tries to be a diva but don't actually gets there, a tricky one.
Whitney Houston - Ultimate diva in the best way possible, old school diva, she was a league of her own, iconic female musician, had "diva" attitude.
Carrie Underwood - Reigning country diva, always looks like a Disney princess.
Dolly Parton - Ultimate country diva, she's like a walking sequence, the Madonna of country.
Aretha Franklin - Gotta give her r-e-s-p-e-c-t, classic diva, diva on a whole new level, church-gospel diva, she walks out on stage looked like she gives no f*cks.
Celine Dion - There's a diva for everyone and moms need a diva, she doesn't have the personality that says "I own this place", very meticulous, she's a boss.

Commercial success (68,434) by Malcolm from Asia
How amazing is that, Mariah, Whitney, Celine have consecutive #1 hits for 32 weeks. But of course Mariah was the only one who had multiple #1's (Fantasy, One Sweet Day and Always Be My Baby) in that 32 week run. Ugh I wish I'm much older when that happened, I really envy those older lambs who had really witness the phenomenal success of Mariah in the 90's. It's my pleasure to hear some of your amazing stories and experiences from that decade.

Re: Merry Christmas 2 You (68,393) (68,396) by Malcolm from Asia
Far from being a mistake. Oh Santa, When Christmas Comes, Christmas Time Is In The Air Again, and O Come All Ye Faithful with her mom are the best, thankful that she did that album. In fact when I'm still a casual listener of her, I really thought Oh Santa is one of her 90's Christmas songs alongside with AIWFCIY, for me it's such a brilliant holiday song, so festive.

Re: VH1 (68,391) (68,392) by Malcolm from Asia
Of course it will not be another Rockefeller fiasco because it'll be taped, there will be magic. The only thing that will might happen is the lip syncing to convince people that she still have her 90's tone voice which is not really effective anymore because we already know and we can easily distinguish the lipped parts. She can no longer fool anyone, we all know her act already. Until she don't accept the fact that her voice changed and the need to really take care of her voice, nothing good will happen. So please Mariah, sing your heart out in that stage, you will be surrounded by some of the authentic legends, don't humiliate yourself, prove to everyone that you are still worthy to be called as the "songbird supreme".

Re: The most awkward photo ever (68,359) (68,378) by Malcolm from Asia
See if Mariah will just present herself like this (excluding the bodysuit of course) she will look elegant and all that. That photo is just plain ugly, too horrible. Come on Kristofer Buckle and Danielle Priano come on that wig is beyond hideous, can't handle it, is she blind to not know Mariah's hairline? Like these people are even famous for their amazing talent, have other A-list clients which they are doing a fantastic job and yet they can't do it for Mariah consistently. So disappointing. And for her management team, I don't know what they were thinking for allowing that pic to be seen by public, please do learn more about damage control. Beyonce's team will never ever allow this kind of sh*t. For the past 2 years that Stella took over, I know she got Mariah some amazing gigs but please enough with the gimmicks already, there's a right and other way to make Mariah "relevant". I know Mariah can also be the one to blame because of her not so good actions and choices but you are all here to handle her properly, heck you are all called as her "management" team. Instead of balancing her diva ways, you are just tolerating her to go beyond that. You are all treating her like trash, washed up star like sometimes I can see that there are more of you that are here just to grab the money than go hard on helping rebuilding her image. That pic that allowed to be posted on public and her hideous wigs and lashes says a lot that they are not doing there 100% for Mariah. Just because they are all comfortable with her, they can just slacks off like that and be with her on vacations not doing the best that they can as Mariah's personnel.

Re: Article: Teyana Taylor joins Mariah for the diva holiday special (68,342) (68,347) by Malcolm from Asia
So if Mariah, Patti and Chaka will be there, then why is Teyana Taylor joined this ranks of artists? Teyana doesn't have any hits, even a Billboard Hot 100 song. It's not that it's a bad thing but it's just odd that she is joining this line-up. It will not makes sense if there is no artist that will join VH1 Divas that is same league as her. But anyway I'm happy with Patti and Chaka, hope Kelly Clarkson joins too.
