James Packer peels his eyes off Mariah for a moment
He appears besotted with his Dreamlover Mariah Carey. But on Wednesday billionaire James Packer managed to peel his eyes off the pop star briefly to mingle with other female guests on his yacht. The 47-year-old casino mogul was seen chatting to buxom reality TV filmmaker Stella Bulochnikov on board his $50 million super yacht, Arctic P.
Looking out across the French riviera, the Australian businessman and Los Angeles brunette appeared locked in conversation as they stared fixedly ahead in the waters around Cannes. The pouting guest, whose film making credits include Paris Hilton's My New BFF for MTV, flicked her long locks as she looked out to sea.
Adjusting her turquoise strapless bikini in the breeze as she vied something in the distance, the Los Angeles based producer pointed excitedly ahead pricking James's undivided attention. Squinting behind his sunglasses, Sydney-born Packer, who wore his favourite navy short-sleeved polo, raised a smile as the pair chatted about what they could see.
Mariah was also spotted with the pair on the yacht. Australia's fourth richest man, who boasts an estimated fortune of US$4.7billion, has been sailing around the Mediterranean on his personal vessel, and was first seen on Saturday strolling around Capri hand-in-hand with pop diva Mariah, 45.
Pictures emerged of the amorous pair, Mariah wearing a plunging red Maxi dress and an enormous smile, and Packer looking marginally smug behind Aviator shades. Onlookers told MailOnline the lovebirds were appeared affectionate and looked like "a normal couple" as they made their way across the island.
Sources this week told TMZ that Sydney-born Packer has been "aggressively" pursuing Mariah for months. The hitmaker and entertainment mogul, who have been spending time on board his 88-metre luxury yacht, have been friends for years.
Friends say the American crooner met Packer through American filmmaker Brett Ratner, who was once himself rumoured to be romantically involved with the beauty. The well-connected producer is known for directing the Rush Hour film series, The Family Man, Red Dragon, X-Men: The Last Stand and Prison Break.
Packer was married for six years to model Erica Baxter, with whom he has three young children. The pair remain close friends despite splitting two years ago, holidaying and enjoying family gatherings together. Packer was also married to fashion designer Jodhi Meares for three years before splitting in 2002.
The pair remain on good terms following their separation and The Upside designer Jodhi is also currently holidaying in Italy with her mother and sister, uploading a snap of herself meeting James and Mariah last week. Australia's fourth richest man was most recently been linked to supermodel Miranda Kerr, 31, who split from actor Orlando Bloom in October 2013 after two years of marriage.
The high-profile pair were first linked in December 2013 following the breakdown of Packer's six-year marriage to Erica in September. She was also seen enjoying time in his company, sailing around Spain on his famous yacht last year.
Back in Australia, the businessman has taken his glitzy Bondi Beach apartment off the market after previously listing it for sale following his famous bare-foot brawl with his long-time television CEO friend.
