Mariah Carey is a diva - we all know that - but is there a photo that illustrates it better than this? On Monday, the 46-year-old songstress took a spill at the NBC Upfronts. We'd bet she wasn't the only person who stumbled at the event, where networks trot out their big-name talents while presenting their fall schedules (Carey has a new reality show on E!), but the fact that she's Mariah Carey and she's outfitted in a low-cut, sequined, animal-print minidress with fishnets and seriously high platform Louboutin heels guaranteed that it didn't go unnoticed.
Mariah's shoe came off as she walked along a blue carpet, and her team launched into full crisis mode. While a priceless expression washed across her face - she looked equal parts annoyed and terrified - no fewer than four men scrambled to her side to steady her.

Team Carey held onto her while she wiggled her ankle back into her killer peep-toe pump. All the while, she stared up at the sky as if to ask: Lord, why, why would you do this to Mariah Carey? (You know she refers to herself in the third person.)
Well, if there is a teaching lesson to come out of all of this, maybe it's that the she should pass on the 6ΒΌ-inch platform shoes on her wedding day. Or make sure she has four guys to walk her down the aisle - just in case.
