Mariah Carey is on fire. The diva paid tribute to George Michael at the Dubai Jazz Festival by performing her cover of the late music icon's ballad One More Try. Mimi's vocals were put to work during the Thursday concert, which featured her first live performance of Michael's iconic tune since covering it on her 2013 album Me. I am Mariah... The Elusive Chanteuse.
Before she belted out the song, the singer was feeling some emotions explaining she originally remade the track "in honor of someone I really admire". Just like Adele at the Grammys, this cover would surely make George proud. (Except Mariah didn't have to start her's over. Ha.)
