A new report alleges Mariah Carey is making outrageous demands to be involved in "The X Factor UK", but Gossip Cop looked into the claim, and we can exclusively correct the bogus story. According to Star, Simon Cowell is considering making Carey a judge on "The X Factor UK", but her "diva demands" are leaving him wondering if he's mistaken the singer for the "queen of England". A so-called "source" tells the outlet that on top of her massive "$3 million" pay check, "Mariah wants use of a private jet to fly her kids over at any time."
What's more, the supposed insider goes on to contend that Carey also requires that her "bodyguards, trainers, stylists, florists, masseuses and makeup people have access to the plane at all times". "Producers tried to tell Carey that all this is beyond over the top," further purports the publication's made-up insider, but "Mariah says she's the greatest singer in the world and you get what you pay for."
Let Gossip Cop set the record straight on the umpteenth report about the singer's so-called "diva demands". A rep for Carey called the article a "tabloid joke", assuring us it's entirely not true. The star is not making outrageous and over the top demands to be involved in "The X Factor UK", and any claims made otherwise are simply false. It's all lies.
Naturally, the outlet has a long history of publishing inaccurate tales about the superstar, twisting the truth to make Carey seem like a "diva". In 2016, Gossip Cop corrected the tabloid for wrongly claiming Carey was "driving away" ex-fiance James Packer with wedding demands. That wasn't true, and the same goes for this latest report.
