Kai Cenat's Mafiathon 3 has officially commenced, and he's already bringing out some heavy hitters as his guests. The top streamer surprised supporters with an appearance from legendary hitmaker Mariah Carey as the two spent a fun evening chopping it up and entertaining his viewers together.
Kicking things off, Cenat blasted her latest single "Type Dangerous" as the welcome song and greeted her with a big hug. The mother of two rocked a black blazer, sheer tights, and platform heels, while Cenat remained comfy in his Sixers jersey and house slides.
After a bit of small talk, the streamer walked over to the back of the room to an enormous figure hidden with a black cloth draped over it. He pulled the cloth off to reveal a huge poster of the cover of her upcoming album, Here For It All, which features a black and white portrait of Mariah with her eyes closed and hair blowing in the wind. The project is due out September 26, 2025. After the singer let out a shriek of excitement, they delved into a conversation about the highly anticipated album.
Although Mariah's career took off decades before streaming exploded in popularity, the 56-year-old legend is no stranger to embracing the new format. Back in April, she crashed her son Moroccan Cannon's stream and read comments, told the chat she loved them, and more. And now with stopping by Kai's Mafiathon, it may not be far off to say the "We Belong Together" singer is open to appearing on more streams in the future.
Elsewhere in the Bronx native's stream, he gathered his squad to come participate in a spelling bee with Mariah, jokingly requested a free feature, and asked various questions about her interest. Before heading out, the 34x Grammy nominated singer left the viewers with a short and sweet motivational speech: "Hold onto hope no matter what's going on in your life, pray when you need to pray, don't ever let anybody put you down."
Mafiathon 3 is just getting started but has already featured guests like Kim Kardashian and Roman Atwood. His last iteration boasted appearances from Nicki Minaj, John Cena, Snoop Dogg, Lil Uzi Vert, GloRilla, and plenty others.
Last week, the Emotions singer shared the tracklist for Here For It All and revealed it will be a 11-track body of work with features from Anderson .Paak and The Clark Sisters. She's declaring this project is a representation of "The Era of Mi", which "basically means I'm going to do whatever I want". She also delivered a live performance of the aforementioned single "Type Dangerous" back in June.
