Charts still look beautiful for James Blunt

The pop charts are still looking beautiful for former army officer James Blunt as his ballad stayed on top of the pop charts for the fourth week running. Blunt's "You're Beautiful" kept Canadian singer-songwriter Daniel Powter's "Bad Day" in second spot in the singles chart, the Official UK Charts Company said on Sunday.

Blunt, who was stationed in Kosovo with British forces in 1999, also saw his debut album "Back to Bedlam" hang onto top spot in the album charts. Dead U.S. rapper 2Pac's "Ghetto Gospel" featuring Elton John was also unchanged in third place, with "Oh" by Ciara featuring Ludacris the highest new entry in fourth spot.

"Since U Been Gone" by "American Idol" winner Kelly Clarkson moved up a place to fifth, while Scottish band Texas went into the charts in sixth with "Getaway". Mariah Carey's "We Belong Together" fell to seventh, with "Dream" by rapper Game debuting in eighth. U.S. rap star Eminem's "Ass Like That" dropped down to ninth with "Gasolina" by Daddy Yankee finishing off the top 10.
