Naomi Campbell is new face of Pinko
Reformed supermodel Naomi Campbell has been announced as the new face of Pinko. The Italian fashion label today announced that she is the star of their Autumn/Winter 2007/08 advertising shoot which was shot by eccentric photographer Steven Klein.
President of Pinko Pietro Negra explains, "After a strong campaign with such powerful impact, like the one with Mariah, we were obliged to follow up with an equally beautiful and artistic campaign, one that readers would find just as striking. To us, advertising campaigns are increasingly an instrument through which the company expresses its soul, revealing its intensity, passion, eclecticism and desire to continue experimenting. This is why we chose a photographer who views his medium as an art form."
The supermodel replaces Mariah Carey who fronted last season's successful campaign and is currently holidaying with Roberto Cavalli. Campbell, meanwhile, was spotted partying last night at the GQ Style night in Munich, Germany wearing an Alaia dress. (Catwalk Queen)
