What a breath of fresh air MCA is (113,849) by Syed from UK Hey everyone. I never knew about this site until today. I can't begin to tell you how refreshing it is to see actual conversations about our queen as opposed to an endless barrage of GIF's and emoji's under every Mariah post on Facebook, Insta, etc. And well articulated conversations - at that. I might not completely agree with every comment I've read, I think 1 or 2 border on overly critical, but it's good to see a diverse mixture of opinions from Lambs, without overt censorship. I agree with some of the viewpoints here that Mariah increasingly does not seem like her usual self these days. It may be her condition, a side effect of medication, or past (and recent) trauma resurfacing, a combination of all the above, or... something unrelated. As Lambs, the best thing we can do is to support Mariah in any we we can. Because that's what she did for us through countless songs such as: Hero, Can't take that away, Make it happen, and so many others. We also need to overlook any behaviors we might not agree with because A) It's hard to trust anything you see online anymore (thanks AI) and media never shows us the true picture, only a distorted version that "sells" better. And B) We are not in her shoes, as much as we may think we know her, we only know her through the lens of the media, mostly. What she may be going through or battling internally and how they might manifest outwardly are things we need to be mindful of. Just be kind. As she has always been to us. What do I feel could help? Well... if I had a magic wand I'd whisk Mariah away to a place where she could spend some time being in touch with nature, walk down a street without being recognized, and feel genuine excitement reconnecting with the simple things in life. It may not solve everything but I could literally guarantee that she'd feel a positive difference. Call it intuition (I share a lot of uncanny coincidences with Mariah) or just my observation of Mariah over the years and knowing the person she is beneath the exterior. I have been obsessed with Memoirs this week because of The-Dream's comments that MC was his most challenging experience in the studio. He clarified it was not meant to be shady, but in the context high-level meticulous studio work. The-Dream described MC perfectly in the studio doing what she does best. MC's last straw was probably Larry Jackson saying no to releasing the HFIA deluxe. I feel like Gamma dropped the ball on Play This Song and In Your Feelings with their lack of promotion at radio and Valentine's Day TV ads. Both could have been bigger songs on the Hot 100. It is like Gamma poured all the money into the Type Dangerous video and didn't provide anymore money for other videos and promotion. Rainbow influence (113,736) by Shezz from Pk Bobby just look at her new album cover. The moment I saw it it screamed "Mariah". She just launched her own sub label - what is it called? Babydoll music. And of course the album being called "Petal". People like to hate on Nostradamous Insider but they have been saying for a month or so before the announcement that Ariana's next album will have a lot of Mariah references. Her first single is supposedly reminiscent of "Breakdown" and she has also been working with JD. If that is true then Mariah was very possibly responsible for setting that up. Teddy Riley posted that he wanted to get a joint on the album. His tweet made it seem like he had been talking to JD about joining them in the studio. Does anyone else remember that conversation? This is also around the same time the Bobby Ross Avila of the Avila Brothers posted a picture in the studio with MC, JD, and Johnta Austin after a long night. No it wouldn't dear Bobby A. Caution is a very cohesive piece of work and got rave reviews on its own. Had JD produced something they would've become WBT part 678910 and do you really want those? And about the JD/Teddy Riley thing, what is your source? I've never heard of Teddy Riley remotely connected with Mariah [except] for the Crybaby sample and The One So So Def Remix sample. The Teddy Riley conversation was probably the first manager incident that caused some friction between JD and MC. I just wonder if their relationship has truly been the same after JD walked away as MC's manager. Caution could been bigger if JD had produced at least three songs on Caution. Did MC stop practicing all the healthy vocal routines that she used during Charmbraclet to Memoirs eras? I noticed that she doesn't talk about those vocal routines anymore. Did her break-up with Tanaka cause stress that affected her voice anymore? Anyway, I saw an unseen video of MC singing Play This Song solo and it was hard to watch. I hope that she can get some rest this summer and have fun on her new yacht instead of performing.
