About Bobby A from United States: I have been a Lamb since 1990. I know Mariah. I love her music. I breathe her music.

Charmbracelet to Caution vocals compared (113,441) by Bobby A from United States
Happy Friday everyone. I have a vocal decline theory. I think I have figured out what caused MC's vocal decline from Glitter to Caution. Before Charmbracelet, MC's voice could relatively bounce back from vocal fatigue after vocal rest. However, when she started taking her bipolar medication after the Glitter album was completed, this is when we could hear a dramatic change in her voice with each post Glitter album. Caution gave us the most dramatic and noticable change in her voice that we had seen prior to HFIA in 2025. In my opinion, it has to be the bipolar medication that has caused MC's vocal decline. Her speaking voice has been affected as well. You can definitely hear how MC's speaking voice is coarse and not as fluid at times like it was 20 years ago during the TEOM era. Can someone elaborate more with an analysis of my theory that her bipolar medication is the real catalyst that caused her vocal decline?

Risk it all Bruno Mars (113,433) by Bobby A from United States
So true. When I first heard Risk It All, it immediately made me think about how MC's buttery tone and alto voice shines through when she sings latin-influenced songs.

Sugar Sweet (113,429) by Bobby A from United States
Don't feel bad Stacey. I play my HFIA CD and Sugar Sweet comes on, but I realize that the album version is not the version Kehlani is singing on. So, I play Folded and Out The Window to get my Kehlani fix.

MTV Unplugged (113,426) by Bobby A from United States
Yes. MC shines when she sings soulful emotional ballads. I hope she can get back those type of songs.

Sugar Sweet (113,425) by Bobby A from United States
Was MC's acapella introduction of Sugar Sweet genius or what? I can't help, but think about how she drew us in making us want more. I wish she had a video and remix ready for release two weeks later after Sugar Sweet dropped. I wanted Sugar Sweet to be a top ten Hot 100 hit or better.

Can't Let Go (113,404) by Bobby A from United States
Do you think Can't Let Go could have been as huge as We Belong Together in 1992? I just love CLG.

Glitter at 25: I love it then, I love it now (113,399) by Bobby A from United States
We better start saving our coins because when it goes up for presale, it will probably sell out across all variants. I hope MC partners with Fandago or AMC to show Glitter in theaters for two weekends in September. Many Gen Z's probably have not seen Glitter or heard the album. By way, why don't Lambs refer to the Glitter album as a soundtrack? We always say the Glitter album.

M.E. (Mariah and Edward) (113,398) by Bobby A from United States
If MC would only listen to the OG's over here for at least one new era, I know she would make us so happy.

Edward (113,384) by Bobby A from United States
Awesome. I am glad you are doing well. I am excited about my relocation back to Nashville this summer. Anyway, don't stay gone so long. I feel MC is going to start letting know what is coming later year.

Jesus I Do (#11 Gospel) / Nothing Is Impossible (#25 Adult Pop) Billboard (113,373) by Bobby A from United States
Welcome Belinda. We are all excited about how songs from HFIA continue to receive radio airplay after six months. Does your airplay chart source list the radio stations playing JID and NII? I would love to listen a radio station playing them both on my phone. V103 in Atlanta sounds so good on my phone.

Healing words (113,371) by Bobby A from United States
Lambi, please tell MC that I like reading on social media about what she may be releasing this year and the possible Sza and Rihanna collaborations. Also, tell MC let AIWFCIY do what it is going to do without any Christmas shows this year. I want her to promote SUD and The Rarities II this fall. One more thing, I would love for MC to have a Patti Labelle or Chaka Kahn sit down interview with Terrell Grice of The Terrell Show on YouTube. It would be a fun and interesting interview for 2026.

90s and 2000s MC (113,358) by Bobby A from United States
I really miss the carefree vibrant 90s and 2000s MC. I hope she can get back to making beautiful ballads and fun pop songs again. I miss hearing MC sing from her heart and not thinking about being a diva. Most of all, I miss her So So Def remixes and David Morales resung vocals club songs. 90s and 2000s MC come back come back, please. Dreamlover comes to my mind as I write this post.

Something is coming (113,343) by Bobby A from United States
It looks rumors of MC and Rihanna in the studio last week are being confirmed on X. Nostradamus reported Jack Antonoff or Soundz and Kuk Harrell were in the studio as well. Something has clicked with MC that a high profile collaboration is her only way back to the top of the Hot 100. Also, Kuk Harrell knows how to make a female singers' vocals shine on a song. He has been Rihanna's vocal producer for 20 years.

Bruno Mars new album (113,342) by Bobby A from United States
I believe it is his best album so far of his career. I could not help myself and say why hasn't MC collaborated with Bruno Mars, D'Mile, Phillip Lawerence, and James Fauntleroy together on one song?

Rich Harrison (113,333) by Bobby A from United States
Does anyone know why MC never collaborated with Rich Harrison? He has some hit songs like Crazy In Love, Ring The Alarm, 1 Thing, and Get It Right. It is just odd that MC never jumped on that bandwagon. Maybe she didn't like the fact all of his songs tyically have a frenetic vocal performance and an intense percussion sound.

Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (113,330) by Bobby A from United States
MC was nominated for a third time again today. I think My Love and Jesus I Do caught the committee's attention to receive another nomination. When MC walks across the stage this year, it will be a huge accomplishment for MC.

Type Dangerous and why it failed (113,314) by Bobby A from United States
Type Dangerous' intro beat is sick with a clever hip hop sample. However, the beat for the lyrics and chorus is underwhelming. The minimalist production for the sassier lyrics take center stage and that was a bad production choice. I have to say Type Dangerous is MC's weakest first single ever. Through the Rain is her second weakest single. I hope MC can create something like Honey or Loverboy for MC17.

I had a dream (113,313) by Bobby A from United States
Yes, I know MC has reflected upon her missteps with HFIA and now has a plan to give us a Mariah Carey album we have not heard since Daydream, Butterfly or TEOM. I just feel MC is getting ready to join the following legacy artists in the Grammy platinum album comeback club.

1. Steely Dan - Two Against Nature (2000)
2. Paul Simon - Graceland (1986)
3. D'Angelo - Black Messiah (2014)
4. Santana - Supernatural (1999)
5. Green Day - American Idiot (2004)
6. Loretta Lynn Van Lear Rose (2004)

HFIA breakdown (113,311) by Bobby A from United States
Both tracks are hip hop influenced songs where MC's voice often shines through. I hope she thinks about going in that direction for MC17.

Here For It All - discovery (113,310) by Bobby A from United States
Yes, I do. Daniel Moore said, "That's it MC." It sounds like he says, "I got it." However, he forgot to turn off his mic in the control room. MC must have recorded multiple takes and Daniel Moore was ready to go home.

I had a dream (113,303) by Bobby A from United States
Thank you, Giovanni. I just keep having these strong feelings and visions that MC is preparing to come back stronger with MC17. MC was seen recently at Hit Factory Studios meeting with recording engineer Kento Yonesaka (worked on MIAM) and a producer from MIAM. She seems hungry to be on top again knowing that seven years between albums is something that she should never do again. Maybe Bruno Mars and Jill Scott have inspired her.

I had a dream (113,288) by Bobby A from United States
I had dream last night that MC would be back on top again in 2028. Here is what I dreamed about.

1. MC releases her 17th album entitled, I'm Back (In Arms Your Again) - JD/BMC/Crystal Johnson/Johnta Austin collaboration
2. She collaborates again with Walter A., Babyface, JD, Skillrex, and some top producers and songwriters of the last 10 years.
3. Critics rave that MC's voice is back. Some say her Butterfly tone is back to stay. Her whistle range is "Emotions" strong again.
4. The first single makes it to number one in less than 5 weeks.
5. Many Lambs say the Bruno Mars, Sza, Toni Braxton, and Fred Again collaborations are their favorites.
6. MC embarks on a 30-city summer/fall tour in the U.S. The first show is at Proctors Theater. The last show is at Madison Square Garden.
7. The second single is a Pop R&B ballad collaboration with Walter A. and Babyface that is reminisce of Love Takes Time and Everytime I Close my Eyes.
8. One year later after the release of a deluxe version, eight Grammy nominations, numerous of television performances, a Rock and Hall of Fame Inductee, and the 2029 Superbowl Half-time show performer, MC finally wins multiple Grammy awards including Album of the Year and Record of the Year at the Grammys.
9. MC sits down with Oprah for a May TV sweeps interview about her remarkable career and the rollercoaster ride of 2028 and 2029.
10. MC finally falls in love again with a wealthy NFL coach.

Type Dangerous: MC and the Epstein files (113,265) by Bobby A from United States
Tommy pursued Mariah and crossed the boundary between a boss and his employee. MC trusted Tommy thinking he would heal her childhood wounds and guide her career. I think MC has always looked for a male friend or partner to give her that fatherly guidance that she longed for from Alfred Roy. L.A. Reid comes to my mind being that positive father figure in her life and career. If you could pull back the many layers of her traumatic childhood, you would understand why she gravitated towards certain men and women after Tommy.
