About Bobby A from United States: I have been a Lamb since 1990. I know Mariah. I love her music. I breathe her music.

E=MC2 vinyl (93,262) by Bobby A from United States
I can't find [E=MC2] on vinyl anywhere on Ebay or Amazon. Does anyone have it on vinyl and is willing to sell it? I will gladly pay a reasonable price for it.

Acoustic Mariah (93,255) by Bobby A from United States
I think it is time for MC to do more acoustic songs for her next album. Andrew Watt wrote and produced Post Malone's acoustic ballad Stay. Watt could write an acoustic ballad with MC. He is an awesome guitar player also. He has done other songs too like Camila's and Shawn's Senorita, DJ Snake's and Justin's Let Me Love You, and Camila's Havana. He is a hitmaker that that MC must call this year.

Re: Never mentioned before (93,252) (93,253) by Bobby A from United States
It does have to do with E=MC2 though.

Re: Never mentioned before (93,234) (93,250) by Bobby A from United States
You are too funny, Bill. I have another "never mentioned" coming this Friday.

Never mentioned before (93,232) by Bobby A from United States
Wouldn't it be cool if MC collaborated with The Monsters and The Strangerz this year. I have never heard anyone mentioned them before. They are a hit making duo.

Re: The next album (93,170) (93,173) by Bobby A from United States
I would love to see MC do an album in the vein of Slipping Away, Everything Fades Away, Do You Think Of Me, and Melt Away. All of these songs have one thing in common. That is she only worked with one producer while she wrote lyrics. I have been saying Ryan Tedder, Babyface, Darryl "DJ" Camper, and Harmony Samuels could help her craft another well received album after Caution. Throw in Jasmine Sullivan, Taylor Parx, Diane Warren, and Claude Kelly for some help. An album with no rappers would help to signify a mature Mariah that debuted 30 years ago. If I could get another Vanishing and Alone In Love, I would be elated too. Let's hope she's locked up in a studio for the next 4 months trying to give us a new album.

Re: Everything fades away (93,132) (93,133) by Bobby A from United States
Is MC preparing us for something special later this year with a greatest hits compilation? Maybe The Hits and For The Nostalgia is coming in September. Wal-Mart and Target are doing a lot of exclusive artist vinyl records lately. I can only hope Mariah Carey is going to be re-released on vinyl this year too.

Re: Everything Fades Away (93,105) (93,106) by Bobby A from United States
This is so good. She should re-record Melt Away with Babyface for 2020 and release as a single for the summer. A few remixes with Bruno Mars and JoJo would be great too. But MC has only re-recorded one song in a her whole career and that was Hero with the Never Too Far/Hero Medley. So it probably won't happen.

New music 2020 (93,091) by Bobby A from United States
I can tell music is taking a more of dance-oriented feel with self-empowerment and self-love lyrics this year with the release of Sza's and Justin Timberlake's The Other Side and Lady Gaga's Stupid Love this week. We are in for a fun filled Spring and Summer. It is so good music taking this direction, because with more cases of the Coronavirus happening people are going to be spending more time at home listening to music and watching TV.

Re: Slipping Away on IG (93,033) (93,036) by Bobby A from United States
I wish Slipping Away was released on the B-side of the ABMB 12inch. I would love for MC to release all of her Columbia B-sides, bonus tracks, and Do You Know Where You Are Going To on a special vinyl EP. There are only about 5 songs that I am referencing, right?
1. Everything Fades Away
2. Do You Think Of Me
3. Slipping Away
4. Do You Know Where You Are Going To
5. Dreamlover (Club Joint Remix)

Brighton Pride (92,991) by Bobby A from United States
It would be so nice for MC to debut a brand new uptempo jam about acceptance, self-love, and equality at the Brighton Pride festival. I would say that David Guetta, Disclosure, Stargate or Skillrex could do the production. I just hope she doesn't waste the opportunity to put out something new.

Can't Take That Away From Me Friday (92,970) by Bobby A from United States
Let's make it a "Can't Take That Away From Me" Friday. This song has been heavily on my mind my for the past two days since The Blast story. She is going to make it Through The Rain once again. She has Roc and Roe to protect now. So I can understand why she is fighting this particular lawsuit with all of her might. Have a great Friday everyone.

Re: New album (92,950) (92,956) by Bobby A from United States
Forget a new album right now, MC has a crisis brewing in the tea kettle ready for some sipping.

Re: The Blast (92,952) (92,954) by Bobby A from United States
Yeah Bill, this is bad. I hope it is not what Damizza said in his video about the ride in the limo. She should come clean about whatever happened during that time. A wholehearted and honest interview with Barbara Walters, People magazine or Oprah about how she is human and has overcome a lot since that time. Many singers have overcome difficult times in their lives by being honest right up front like Fantasia, Elton John, Smokey Robinson, Toni Braxton, Demi Lovato, etc. I know she can't wait until this court case is resolved so she can put it behind her. But it looks like she is going to have to sit down with someone and tell her story on her terms before her medical records are released to the courts and eventually to the media. Where is Cindy Berger right now?

Re: We Belong Together (92,942) (92,949) by Bobby A from United States
I can remember during the MIAM recording sessions, MC posted this picture of her, Mike Will Made It, Jermaine Dupri, Hit-Boy, and Rodney Jerkins all in the studio together. When I saw them all together at one time, I was hoping they were working on a huge ballad together. I was so disappointed that huge ballad never happened or never made it onto MIAM. I still believe that all it would take is one huge ballad to be recorded and released for pop radio to play something new by MC. MC should get Jazmine Sullivan, Darryl "DJ" Camper, Claude Kelly, and Harmony Samuels in the studio together for her next hit ballad. Some Lambs may want an uptempo track released first for the next album, but the right smooth WBT type of ballad would take off quicker on the radio. Throw in a line from Toni Braxton's Breathe Again for a 90's throwback.

We Belong Together (92,927) by Bobby A from United States
I have one question for Lambs to end the day. Why hasn't MC been able to create another WBT with JD or another high profile producer and songwriter? I believe she still has another hit ballad in her that could touch the masses, but she just has not worked really hard to recreate the WBT magic. With You came close, but it just didn't have that LA Reid and Johnta Austin fire.

Re: Mariah needs to recover her voice and stop touring (92,905) (92,907) by Bobby A from United States
I have to admit she did struggle on a lot of the songs to sing the notes. Now, I am really starting to believe that most of the Christmas show performances were lipped. Maybe MC should focus on her acting career for awhile. Her live performances are getting painful to watch, her struggle with so many of her songs that she use to be able sing with such ease and agility. Kuk Harrell should be hired to her bring her voice back to where it was post-Charmbraclet era. March is really going to be interesting to see if she post pics of her in the studio or vacationing in the Bahamas.

Re: Mariah needs to recover her voice and stop touring (92,903) (92,904) by Bobby A from United States
While she is resting her voice, she should go ahead and release the box set for the Def Jam and Epic years. I am sure it would sell at least 500,000 copies if we got all of the left over tracks and remixes from 2002-2018. I would love to hear the songs that didn't make CB, TEOM, EMC2, MOIA, MIAM, and Caution. Nicely packaged as a Target Exclusive would hold us over until 2022. Save the Columbia years until after she retires from the music industry.

Re: Mariah needs to recover her voice and stop touring (92,886) (92,892) by Bobby A from United States
We probably won't get a new album this year because MC needs to rest her voice. And plus too many long overdue albums are coming this year from Sam Smith (May), Sza, Drake, Adele (September), and Rihanna that will overshadow MC's new album. Is it just me who has noticed that MC never seems relaxed when she sings in front of a Vegas crowd?

To Die For - Sam Smith (92,891) by Bobby A from United States
This song makes me want to cry. I am right here clinging on to every word in the song. He is singing about my life right now. I just want somebody to die for. Sam Smith did it on this song. By the way, anybody heard the rumour this weekend that Mariah will be on his new album in May?

Rihanna and The Neptunes (92,846) by Bobby A from United States
Rihanna is back in the studio with the Neptunes. R9 ain't done yet. Everytime they work together or separately their sound is always fresh and inviting. I hope MC can get back in the studio with them again. The work Pharrell did on Ariana's Sweetner was some of his best work to date.

No Time To Die - Billie Elish (92,841) by Bobby A from United States
This song is so good. I swear Billie is channeling MC in the way she is singing in haunting breathy vocals. No Time To Die has a dramatic climax simliar to Lead The Way. Finneas and MC need to collaborate together soon. He could really capture MC's signature style in such a way for an undeniable hit song.

I Had A Vision Of Love (92,809) by Bobby A from United States
I may have figured out what is going happen to coincide with the book release. On MC's debut, she collaborated with one songwriter or producer. So, she said recently that she had a couple of men who she wanted to collaborate with. Maybe she has her eye on those singer-songwriters/producers who can capture the essence of Mariah Carey the album. Along with a remastered CD and vinyl re-release, we will get six new songs and the songs that didn't make the album to make a double album in September. Maybe she will do I Had A Vision Of Love: Up Close and Personal Tour at small historic venues like the Angel's Advocate Tour. Only time will tell what will happen, but I don't feel we are going to get a new album this year. Being the perfectionist she is, there is not enough time for her to record an album and release this year.

Re: The problem with Mariah (92,777) (92,780) by Bobby A from United States
The real problem with MC is that her career has never been the same since she parted ways with Benny Medina. He has that magic touch for managing artists. Look at J Lo for example. He has connections in the music industry that is unparalleled to other managers. The only other manager that comes close to his expertise and connections is Scooter Braun. I really think Roc Nation and Melissa did a great job rolling out Caution and getting AIWFCIY to number #1, but more work has to be done to make sure MC is connected to the right producers and songwriters and promotional spots and media for the next era. Look at Summer Walker, Hasley, Camila Cabello, Ella Mai for example. They are the women in music industry selling records and getting airplay right now. I would love for The Smeezingtons and Dev Hynes to write a couple of hits for MC for the next album.
