About Bobby A from United States: I have been a Lamb since 1990. I know Mariah. I love her music. I breathe her music.

Collaboration talk: Sia (81,644) by Bobby A from United States
What if Mariah and Sia spent one week in the studio. What type of songs would those two make in the studio? Whatever they come up with, would be a number one smash.

I love JD's music, but (81,638) by Bobby A from United States
I love JD's and BMC's music but enough is enough. Mariah needs to work [with] other producers and songwriters who can give her a hit. I think she realizes that now after I Don't failed to give her a hit. I would even be hopeful if she worked with Chris Brown's long list of producers and songwriters instead of JD and BMC.

Disneyland picture (81,612) by Bobby A from United States
I am just amazed how marvelous Mariah looks right now turning 48. Losing weight has really done so much with how she is posing and smiling these days. I am sure we won't have any photoshopping done for her new album cover.

The album stakes are much higher this around (81,511) by Bobby A from United States
I wonder why during the recording of this new album Mariah has only posted two pictures of her in the studio with no one else in the studio. During the recording of Me I Am Mariah, she posted pictures [of] who she was in the studio with every week. Does she realize the album stakes are much higher this time around? Does she know that this is truly her last shot to be back on top? Did she realize that Me I Am Mariah was unsuccessful because too much was posted about who she was working [with] and constant changing of the expected album completion date. She hasn't officially said 2018 or 2019. Or did Jay Z have a heart to heart talk about keeping the recording process posts of this RocNation release at a mininum? Let's hope she is putting her everything into this new album just like she did [with] Daydream and Butterfly. I want [an] album that is fresh and innovated yet Mariah. I want her to step outside of the box and give the buying public and radio songs that will put her back on top of the charts. She deserves to have a number 1 album and song again. Call Babyface up please. I find it promising that even JD doesn't know nothing about who she is working with. He was asked last week in a tweet and he replied nothing. She should take the Beyonce approach and when the album is ready just drop it without any official release date.

Mariah's weight loss and her voice (81,460) by Bobby A from United States
Something tells me that because of Mariah's weight loss, her voice will be back to what she sounded like on Rainbow or The Emancipation of Mimi. I am hopeful that she will gain it back at least 70 percent.
What do you think?

Mariah's voice with new album (81,411) by Bobby A from United States
I am super excited that she is making new music. I hope one suggestion that was made to her at the RocNation offices was to work with other producers and songwriters besides JD and BMC. I love their music, but Mariah has to bring it in 2018. I would like for her to take the Chris Brown approach by working with mostly new and fresh producers who don't have their sound already on the radio. She needs a fresh sound that fits the current state of her voice. Her current voice doesn't give her a strong ability to sing in her whisper or breathiness register or prolonged belts at a song's climax. I am okay with that because I want her to be able to perform the album live on TV when the promotional tour starts without any mishaps. I do hope she will finally work with Calvin Harris, Nic Nac, Mel and Mus, DJ Mustard, and a Daley or Tank duet. I predict we will get the first single at the end of the summer and the album in October or November.

Cover songs for new album 2018 (80,548) by Bobby A from United States
I would love to see MC do her rendition of Whitney's "You Give Good Love". Her present tone and range is perfect for the song. "Adore" by Prince would be another great cover song for her current tone and range. And my final cover song is "Love Under New Management" by Miki Howard. Just to hear MC sing. "Experience is a good teacher" would take my breath away.

Eight new endeavors MC needs right now (79,054) by Bobby A from United States
I have been thinking about new endeavors MC is missing right now. Here is what I came up with:
1. A new manager and publist.
2. A makeover including a 2008 E=MC2 weight loss.
3. A duet with an unexpected male artist. Ex. Sam Hunt, Ed Sherran, or Stokley.
4. A new CD with no more than 12 great songs. No rappers, no fluff, and no leftover tracks.
5. An intimate small venue concert tour in the summer 2018 to reconnect with the public: MC Unplugged 2018.
6. Reunite with Walter Afansieff and Babyface. She made beautiful music with these two producers.
7. Please a Bruno Mars and Daley collaboration.
8. A Kelly Clarkson and Sia collaboration.
I miss the Mariah from 1990-1997. Always will be her best years.

The Star (78,977) by Bobby A from United States
I am so happy and pleased to say that The Star reminds me so much of the MC I fell for in 1990. It is the best song she has released that is simply Mariah Carey. I bought my copy today. I love it.

Unfortgettable remix (78,077) by Bobby A from United States
I just heard a 45-minute of the remix. Yes. Yes. Yes. It is pure perfection. This is what MC needs to get back on the radio. I love the texture in her voice. It rides so pretty and eloquently over the beat. It will be released officially 8.25 at midnight. Have you all missed me? I am back and jumping up and down over this remix. It is hot. Thank you French Montana for not forgetting MC. You returned the favor. We love you for it. I have a new workout song. Just like a little kid with his new toy.

Jazmine Sullivan, Darryl Camper, MC collaboration (71,166) by Bobby A from United States
Darryl "Hey DJ" Camper just retweeted my tweet about him being in the studio with Mariah Carey and Jazmine Sullivan. It must be true. Go checkout his twitter page. No joke. I can't wait to hear their song.

What if the new single is something special (71,144) by Bobby A from United States
I have this feeling that LA Reid called Mariah into his office and said you really need to get a new song out in February. And you need to collaborate with Jazmine Sullivan and Darryl "DJ" Camper. It would be the first time Mariah and Jazmine Sullivan have collaborated. It would be a fresh sound. It would be nice to hear Mariah sing the way Jazmine Sullivan sings her melodies and hooks. Ooh, I am praying for something special like a Jazmine Sullivan collaboration. Radio has played Mary J. Blige's Thick Of It so much that is still #1 on the Urban Adult Contemporary chart.

3. Ribbon
4. The One - Remix
5. It's Like That/Touch My Body - Remix
6. We Belong Together - Remix

Tell me a bad dream, ok? / What's going on with MC? (68,968) by Bobby A from United States
I usually don't comment on MC's choices with her personal life. But she has totally lost focus this time. It seems like she is trying to make James Packer jealous. Somebody pinch me and wake me up from this bad dream and nightmare. I can't believe what is happening right now before my eyes. She makes herself seem like she never loved James Packer. Where is her time to heal from a broken engagement? She is making herself seem like a gold digger who was only going to marry James Packer for his money. She should really be focusing on her career and raising Roc and Roe. And what she sees in Bryan Tanaka is anybody's guess right now. This kid needs a reality check. He thinks he deserves MC. He has it all wrong. This year is not ending well at all. I pray that she gets it together soon like yesterday. Mimi sure has been emancipated and Mariah Carey who use to have class, style and dignity is lost somewhere back in 1995 with the Daydream era. I can't even know what to say. I am going to the gym now to burn off some steam.

Valentine's Day 6-song EP / L.A. Reid - Why? (68,763) by Bobby A from United States
I tweeted L.A. Reid today with an idea for a Valentine's Day 6-song EP exclusively released to one digital and one in-store retailer. He is going to have to think outside of the box to get Mimi back to the top of charts and on the radio again. So here is my suggestion:
Mariah Carey- "Yours For Valentine's Day"
1. Yours -duet with Justin Timberlake
2. When I Feel It
3. Reaching For The Sky
4. Mesmerized
5. Skydiving - ft. Drake
6. Love Takes Time(Acapella)
Bonus
7. Duet with Maxwell
I know we all are dying to hear Justin Timberlake sing Yours with MC. And we all want to hear the full versions of When I Feel It and Skydiving. I think Drake would do an awesome rap verse. And we all want to hear Reaching For The Sky and Mesmerized. What do you think? Or what are some other ways to get MC back to the top of the charts and on radio again? Do you think L.A. Reid has given up hope on MC ever being a mega selling artist again? I can't believe he is not putting pressure on her to get new music out as soon as possible. And I wonder why he keeps on allowing Mariah to collaborate Jermaine Dupri and Bryan-Michael Cox all the time. Has he just given up hope on MC and resorted to just letting her do what she wants to do? Where is your guidance right now, L.A. Reid? If she doesn't come through with good chart hitting music next year, I am going to be worried for the remaining years of her career. Next year is your last shot, MC. I am praying for you to get it right this time. We miss the classic Mariah Carey. Bring her back soon. Please.

The 4 123 comeback 2017 / legacy (68,670) by Bobby A from United States
Everybody remember Robert-Anthony said this: Mariah's next album is going to be her most personal ballad-driven album of her career. We can expect an album that is cohesive, fun, heartfelt and reflective. I believe she is more focused than ever to deliver to her fans an album that will be perceived to be a classic Mariah album and timeless. What a year is has been for her. She is going to deliver in 2017. It may take awhile to get the album completed, but we should have a first single sometime in May for the summertime and a full album sometime in September or October. I am full of expectations for this album because what does she have to lose. She has created a legacy that is untouched and has been unobtainable by other artists who came out in the 1990s. Her songs are timeless compositions - too many singles to name, too many album cuts to name, too many B-sides to name, and too many remixes to name. What other artist from the 1990s has her legacy? So instead of bashing her and being negative, send her positive tweets and messages encouraging her to deliver to her fans in 2017. Start those positive messages today. Tweet L.A. Reid asking him to guide this 2017 release like he guided The Emancipation of Mimi. Remember how he sent her back to studio with Jermaine Dupri and that revisit to the studio resulted in "We Belong Together." WBT saved her career. We have to help save a career again He is counting on Mariah's next release to be a bonafide hit. He listens to her fans. Tweet him today. I tweet him all of the time asking him to guide Mariah in choosing the right direction to take her new album. I am anticipating the following collaborations in 2017:
1. The Weeknd
2. Brunos Mars, The Smeezingtons and Shampoo and Curl
3. Ryan Tedder
4. DJ Khaled
5. DJ Mustard
6. Walter Afansieff
7. Darryl "Hey DJ" Camper
8. The Dream
9. Jazmine Sullivan
10. Detail
11. Drake and Noah "40" Shebib
12. IIangelo
13. Max Martin
14. Mark Ronson
15. Drumma Boy
16. Jermaine Dupri, Johnta Austin, Crystal Johsnon, and Bryan-Michael Cox
17. Calvin Harris

23. Harold Lily
24. Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis

The queen of the diss song will bounce back (67,799) by Bobby A from United States
My heart goes out to Mariah Carey right now. When she gives her all to someone, she gives it wholeheartedly. Why does she keep getting her heart broken? I think she should stop letting men mistreat her. Put her foot down and say "I am not taking any mess from you." Like Solange told Beyonce that "She needs to speak her mind more." When all of this blows over, she is going get in the studio and let James Packer have it. I think we are in store for one of the best MC's albums since TEOM. However in the meantime, let me show why Mariah is the queen of the diss song. Ranked from #1 to 10.
1. Obsessed
2. Shake It Off
3. Clown
4. Betcha Gon' Know
5. Infinity
6. Thanx 4 Nothin
7. You've Had Your Chance
8. Up Out My Face
9. Prisoner
10. You Don't Know What To Do

2017 should be the reinvention of Mariah Carey (67,461) by Bobby A from United States
First, thank you all for the birthday wishes. Second, AndrewUK - I put on Always Be My Baby during my birthday celebration and I felt like the first time I fell in love. And you know what happened after playing JoyRide. Lol. Well during this time of celebration, I got to think about how Mariah can learn from the mistakes and missteps from her last two albums: MOIA and Me: I Am Mariah.
1. Go back to one/two word album titles. Long crazy titles cause the buying public to not take her albums seriously.
2. Refrain from being so personal with every song on the album. Give your audience an opportunity to see themselves in the song. Something in the vein of Miranda Lambert's Vice.
3. Work with new producers and writers instead of those you feel comfortable with. It's apparent that Mariah needs a new sound and direction. Jermaine Dupri and BMC won't produce any new sounds with Mariah.
4. Narrow the final tracklisting down to 10-12 songs. For example, Butterfly and Daydream. The last two albums where overshadowed by too many songs.
5. The first single should be something in the vein of Dreamlover, Honey, Fantasy, Heartbreaker, and It's Like That. Show us again why Mariah is who she is today.
6. Have videos ready to drop a week after the single drops. No more 3 week gap video premieres.
7. Record with Walter Affansieff and Babyface again. Mariah owes this to her fans. Lambily.
8. Cut back on the whistle notes in every song. This is one thing that I think stops new people from listening to Mariah.
9. Definitely cut back on the rap collaborations. One or two rap collaborations would be just fine on the album. More Mariah and less other people.
10. Give the buying public something different that will show us Mariah Carey of the 1990s again.
11. Cut back on the diva ways and antics. Give true, serious, heartfelt interviews during the album promotions.
12. Give us one male singer duet, original or remake song.

Just had to play some Mariah tonight (67,330) by Bobby A from United States
I have been feeling down lately because I have a birthday coming up 10.25 and I am going to spend it alone again. I had to listen to Petals, Languishing, I Wish You Well, H.A.T.E.U., Inseparable, Heavenly, #Beautiful, Reflections and Cry. I don't know any other artist whose catalogue is so full of songs with depth and reflection. I guess one reason why I connected to Mariah is that I had a rough childhood full of rejection, abuse and being misunderstood. I have always wished to be loved and Mariah's emotional ballads always gave me hope for finding love. Thank you Mariah. I have always been a lamb. Since 1990. Lamb for life. What will she give us in 2017? I don't think I have hungered for a Mariah Carey album like her next one. I believe this album is going put her back at number #1. Wouldn't it be something if she just dropped a single without any announcement or studio pictures?

MJB and Jazmine Sullivan's Thick Of It / Bruno Mars (67,206) by Bobby A from United States
Mary J. Blige's Thick Of It is so beautifully written. It is MJB's best song in a long time. Jazmine Sullivan is the most underrated female songwriter and singer in RNB. She does not get the recognition she deserves. She can take a lyric and melody have you singing it all day long. Her songs are catchy and thought provoking. I hope Mariah is listening to Thick Of It and will call Jazmine Sullivan up to collaborate. Can you imagine the masterpiece those two would make? And I agree with B. that Mariah needs to collaborate with Bruno Mars and The Smeezingtons as well as Mark Ronson, Ryan Tedder, DJ Khaled, DJ Mustard, David Guetta, and Calvin Harrris. I guess all we can do is hope and wait until 2017.

No Christmas concerts this year? / 2017 / box sets (67,020) by Bobby A from United States
I find it odd that there has not been an announcement about her annual Christmas concert this year. I believe last year the concerts dates were announced last year before now. Maybe her team wants to focus on Mariah's World broadcast in December on E. I am sure Mariah will be doing an extensive promo schedule to promote the docu series in late November early December. Or Mariah and James are planning a Christmas wedding? I am just throwing out these possible scenarios. Is anybody else feeling this way?
I really believe 2017 is going to be Mariah's second comeback year. 2017 would make 12 years since Mariah's first comeback. She always says she is eternally 12. Lol. I am just saying. She probably will spend most of 2017 recording her new album with L.A. Reid's guidance again. He has been quiet lately since Meghan Tranior's second album bombed on the charts. He really hasn't had a mega sales album release since he took over as President of Epic. Mariah's 2017 release maybe his last chance for a mega sales hit. I guess time will only tell what 2017 holds for Mariah and L.A. Reid. What do you think?
One last thing, whenever a box set is released by Sony or Def Jam, it going to be a huge event. I sure hope we get any album leftover tracks, B-sides, live tracks, and unreleased remixes. I am anxious to hear "Reach For The Sky", "Mesmerized", the full version of "Skydiving", "When I Feel", the original version of "Dreamlover", Me I Am Mariah-The Dream track, any unreleased Ben Marguiles tracks, the live version "Endless Love" with the late Luther Vandross, the extended version of "Your Girl", and the one I would love hear right now - "Yours" duet with Justin Timberlake. Any thoughts?

The Weeknd's Starboy could be Mariah's stargirl (66,944) by Bobby A from United States
The Weeknd's Starboy is exactly the sound Mariah needs to be played on radio again. I can hear Mariah singing "I'm a stargirl". The title sums up her life and it sounds like Metorite. Can you imagine a Weeknd and Mariah collaboration? Both are very good with melody. The Weeknd emulates Mariah with his runs. He has his falsetto and she has her breathness/airy voice. What a song that would be on the radio. Radio would eat it up. I swear Starboy is playing every hour on the radio. I predict the following:
1. The Weekend collaboration- first single
2 Released December 2016 - first single
3. New album - March or April 2016
4 Only 14 songs with the following collaborations
A. Walter Affansieff - 3 songs
B. DJ Mustard colllabo
C. Ryan Tedder collabo - 2 songs
D. Noah "40" Shebib/Drake collabo
E. JD/BMC/Crisytle collab - 2 songs
D. Babyface collabo
E. Mike Will Made It collabo
F. The Weeknd/Illangelo collabo
G. David Guetta collabo
F. Mark Ronson/Bruno Mars collabo
G. Beyonce collabo
I believe she knows that with this album she has to bring it. She has to remake herself with a sound that is relevant but true to her style. She is listening to us with our requests to work with Walter A. again. She knows this is her last chance to reclaim the top of the charts.
