L.A. Reid (54,981) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter When Mariah releases another album, I hope she doesn't rely completely on Reid's opinions and direction. Reid is given a lot of credit for TEOM, and while it is true that he has a big role in its success, sometime Mariah gets too grateful and gives him all the credit. For single choices especially, she needs to be really careful. Reid isn't really great with single choices. Mariah shouldn't choose them either, they should get a group of young individuals to choose a song if they want a radio hit. Plus I hope the standards album thing is not a plan for the next album. I'd like to hear few more original MC recordings before she starts covering songs for full albums. Butterfly and E=MC2 were two big chances Mariah lost to get more hits. I think even Memoirs could have been bigger had Reid pushed the UOOMF remix and the Angels Cry remix and dropped his beef with JD and released the H.A.T.E.U. remix, which was an awesome one. Inseparable would also make a good single. Now someone or the other will jump up and teach me how we blame everyone but Mariah, so I'll just clear this out, yes Mariah is to blame to a big extent especially since she dropped promo on E=M2 and in many other things, but I am specifying Reid because Mariah believes Reid is her savior. TEOM wasn't a success just because of Reid, the songs were on point and all the stars aligned for Mariah to make her comeback. (Tuesday 30 June 2015; 17:03)

Jenny (54,946) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter Your theory is quite possible. More than Jasmine's absence, I wonder what happened to Rachel. Didn't we see her around Mariah at all times? I mean tour whatever, holidays, casuals outings. Now we don't see her at all. It doesn't matter though, I am glad Mariah seems to be in a happier place in her life. She looks relaxed and is wearing flats haha (when did that ever happen). I am also glad she possibly found a new friend in Stella. Stella did manage to turn Mariah's image around. She obviously didn't take names but oh well. I wonder if people are pissed at Mariah because she cut them off. In that case they were never good friends to begin with. Found the same person in another thread (under yet another name) too where some of the members have also asked the moderators to ban that person for starting fights (although the person has not been banned yet and since then has toned things down a little). I must say I thought they were of the opposite gender but oh well I might be wrong, but these 3 people sound awfully alike. Out of the 3 identities, I think I am positive that at least 2 belong to the same person. Their style of writing gives them away. (Friday 26 June 2015; 11:26)

Wendy Williams (54,908) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter I'll start off by clearing this out, this is not a dig at Will from England. I am just giving my 2 cents. WW is a jealous woman who I am sure never thought that MC would be able to get another guy again. She keeps calling her crazy and what not. I don't think it's wrong for James to be playing Mariah's songs or be smitten with her. Sometimes when we love someone we try to do everything they love and watch movies they love and what not. We know Mariah listens to her own music so maybe James is doing just that. Or he keeps playing MC's music because there are a lot of big Hollywood players partying with them and one of them may like a song and decide to put it in a soundtrack of a movie or a show. I am not saying I am 100% sure James is perfect, but Wendy's reasoning for suspecting James is pretty lame. I think she said he met her 1.5 months back but we know he has known her since 2013. In Hollywood we can never guess who is right for whom. Brad and Jennifer dated a good 2 years before they tied the knot and they were considered the Hollywood golden couple but divorced after 5 years. Nick and Mariah were considered a mistake from the start but they lasted 6 years. So just because a guy is trying to impress Mariah, it doesn't mean it's genuine love. MC is a grown woman. She'll try to be cautious I'm sure. If this is a publicity stunt (which I hope it isn't) they are both in on it. So no party is being fooled. (Friday 26 June 2015; 8:00)

Haha jokes aside, I am glad she is relaxing it up a little. I mean this woman wears 6 inch stilettos to Disneyland. I am liking the new chilled Mimi. Her outfit is laid back and summery, she has that head scarf going on, almost zero makeup. With all the Alaia dresses she has been sporting lately (including that horrid collar plus fish scales dress in Vegas show, which come to think of it looks like she is being swallowed by a fish) anyways so with all the Alaia dresses she has been wearing lately, I wonder if she'll be the next face of Alaia. I mean she did have a big shoot in Paris right? I wonder if it was for Harper's Bazaar or Alaia. I am selfish so I want it to be both. It's about time Mariah gets that billion dollar face on the billboards of the biggest names in fashion. Also Mariah please wear some Balmain for me? I want more edgy Mariah moments. Stella's antics (54,866) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter I don't mind Mariah/Stella controlling how she is being portrayed in the media. Almost every other major celeb does that. But I hope they keep it classy. I mean no need for pictures like that awkward kissing one and all. Those will do no good and won't fool anyone. Other than that, if Mariah's team is providing her candid pictures like the ones of her and Packer in the orange dress or whatever, it's fine. Those look normal. It's one of her best hairstyles although she rarely wears it like that. And yes the Vegas curls (the wig she wears with the black dress is pretty bad). If we go by Mariah's history, she never did resort to pulling publicity stunts by hooking up with someone to be in the headlines. Our girl is saying the truth when she said she is a prude because in 25 years she has dated very few people. James and Mariah look happy together, I have no idea about Packer but I find it unlikely that Mariah will pull a stunt. She has her children with her along with Packer and I believe that if she was planning to just do it for the media, she wouldn't involve the kids. It's weird but for some reason I am like wow is Mariah really dating? Because it seems like ages (which it has been) since she dated and when she was dating Mark before Nick no one hardly knew about it since it was super hush hush. But anyways about the marriage rumor I hope she takes her time and considers everything before doing that. It's a rumor for now so I'll just ignore it. Wetsuits and body shaming (54,823) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter Wetsuits are mostly unflattering on almost everyone and Mariah is not really that big, but the wetsuits makes it look that way because of the unflattering angles. If she was wearing the same wetsuit and posed for a photo where she is ready for the shot, she would look a lot slimmer (like the one where she is wearing the wetsuit with the orange bikini, holding Monroe). But since these are candid shots and camera adds pounds, the pictures are not that good. Mariah is not fat, she is curvy and her height makes her tower over people. I prefer her curvy body over the stick thin anorexic bodies that are now idolized. Licia, I agree with you about women being self conscious and Mariah is no different. This woman is called fat no matter what size she is. Yes she looked smoking in 2008 and 2013 but I think she looks gorgeous no matter her weight. I would be lucky if I looked like her when I am her age. But she should seriously embrace her body and stop trying to hide it. Just go for a monokini/one piece swimsuit if she is concerned about her stomach region or just wear a short kaftan over the bikini. It will be sexy yet comfortable. Oh and I know which green bikini you are talking about haha, I am not sure if it was CB era or TEOM but she was really feeling her body at that time in a tiny emerald bikini. She was almost the size she is now, just a few pounds lighter maybe, but her confidence just made her look hot. (Tuesday 23 June 2015; 18:24)

The wetsuits are making her look bigger than she is. I mean she might not be confident to wear a bikini at the moment but then just wear a monokini. or at the very least a bodysuit like the Honey video one. She has amazing legs why on earth is she covering those for now reason. Out with it Mariah. Dump the wetsuits. Immediately. (Tuesday 23 June 2015; 14:28)

Like RJJ12 said, you never know who is going to be around for how long so I would really love to hear these two together. I will always be sad that Mariah never had a proper duet with Michael Jackson. These two are my ultimate favorite and they could have come up with a beautiful collaboration. What sucks more is that these two were good friends and hung out together yet a duet never happened. I know MJ did back up vocals for 2 unreleased MC songs during CB era, but I am talking about a proper duet. So yes, Mariah pick up the phone and give Janet a call. (Tuesday 23 June 2015; 13:50)

Alexis Morell Carrington Colby Dexter Rowan (54,814) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter Mariah has plenty of people who would more than love to appear in her video if she asks them to. But I don't think Mariah is that desperate yet. Names? Jay-Z, Beyonce, Fifth Harmony, Terrence Howard (and the entire team of Empire, the biggest show currently), Rihanna, Justin Bieber, Britney Spears, John Legend, Kanye West, Timberlake, Usher, just to name a few. Heck even Ariana will come if Mariah asks her because technically Mariah didn't say anything negative about her. She has plenty of acquaintances in Hollywood, she just doesn't feel the need to always hang out with them just because that's not her scene. I say acquaintances and not friends because the people who appeared in Madonna's video were acquaintances. I have never seen her with them before the Tidal meeting and I am pretty sure the people in the video came mostly because Jay-Z wanted it to be a Tidal exclusive because he is still trying to make Tidal happen. No disrespect to Madonna, she is a legend and an icon and has been around longer than Mariah. My point basically is that if Mariah wants cameos, she can get cameos. (Tuesday 23 June 2015; 13:36)
