Infinity music video (53,150) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter Mariah posted a picture of a BTS of the Infinity video. She is seen sitting infront of a huge mirror and dressing table. The first thing I thought when I saw the picture was "Is it a WBT continuation?" I don't know, I am excited. I just hope it has a good storyline. (Saturday 9 May 2015; 12:22)

Mail Online (53,138) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter Wow that interview was so intense. I got all teary. I think when a person becomes such a big star, we tend to look at them differently. I mean we forget that they are humans too. To see Mariah and her amazing houses, expensive vacations, a closet bigger than my apartment and jewels to put kings to shame, makes one feel that she has everything in the world, what could she possibly be sad about? Also since MC hardly talks about her personal life, we just get to hear what the media cooks up, that is a major diva with big demands, a has been superstar with deteriorating voice, an insecure jealous woman and what not. I am so happy that she did this interview. It just shows what a bad place she has been in the past few years. I love you Mariah, and so does the rest of your lambily. You have saved so many lives without even meeting them, you are truly a gift from God. Wishing you all the happiness and good health. You deserve every success you got and yet so much more. She has assembled her celebrity friends to form a superhero girl gang and each girl's character is being revealed like a movie poster and their superhero name. Scared for Infinity music video now. Billboard (53,117) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter So MC is apparently going to perform "Emotions" and "Infinity" for BBMAs. I think it's a good choice. "Emotions" is as classic MC as it gets and showcases her whistle register like fine art at a museum. And of course "Infinity" needs all the promotion it can get. (Friday 8 May 2015; 22:22)

Musti (53,103) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter This is something I have felt for a long time now. The articles always made me feel like the writers have definitely been sneaking around in the forums. The only time I can buy them actually writing the stories from their own is when MC clearly messes up on stage or like the isolated audio incidents. Other than that 80% of the time, Mariah's fans are unknowingly bringing her down. The articles are usually going to only pick up the negative things posted and then run with it without bothering to fact check or see if other fans are feeling positive. So please, it's fine to criticize here and there but be a little considerate about what you post. I can assure you that MC's team and the hungry media (especially ones trying to bring her down) are always reading what we write especially on this board. So let us not kill our own idol's career. Mariah has made a lot of changes recently some directly from suggestions we all have discussed. Let the lambs not be the reason for Mariah's fall. (Friday 8 May 2015; 16:49)

Oh what has happened to the lamb-dom (53,095) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter When shows like Wendy Show and TMZ (two shows that have consistently dissd her for years now) and even the GP start to rave about Mariah and her show while her fans keep tearing MC apart, I think we can say we have hit rock bottom. I was waiting for Wendy to say "but" and add a snide comment to compensate for all the praises, but she didn't, instead she went on to rave about her outfits, her body and her confidence with her body and her voice. Even going as far as to say that MC probably cracked her voice on purpose all these months to fool people which lead to discussions about her. Now while we know MC did have vocal problems a while back so the struggles weren't on purpose, but still at least a semi-hater is coming up with excuses to suggest that her voice was never gone. Media catching on the tricks (53,094) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter Well of course they will catch up. No, not because they observed her and found out, but because they lurk in Mariah fan forums and since some fans write all her tricks down in such vivid details, you all make their works really simple. I swear, I feel 80% of the times, everything bad caught on about MC is because her own fans details those in fan sites. I didn't read the NYT articles because I heard it's really harsh, but I can bet the cushion on my couch that they read a fan's post and picked up on this. Because no non-fan would know this. They covered whatever back up or lip sync was used very well this time so it seems seamless. (Friday 8 May 2015; 11:22)

Abraham (53,053) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter Yes of course I think you are a sweetheart. Just because you didn't like a particular song doesn't suddenly turn you into a hater. Like I said, I respect people more when they can weigh in on the good and bad and it was inevitable that people will be divided in their opinions every time Mariah releases a new song. Just because majority love it doesn't make you a bad person for not liking it. I know you will still have faith in her and you will still try and support her. That's what we lambs do. Two complaints though (53,051) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter I have two complaints about the show as of now and I think these are very much under Mariah's control so she can make necessary changes. 1) Mariah, honey, lose that Azzedine Alaia dress right this instant. Take it out, and use it to ignite a bon fire if you will. The dress is bad, I mean really bad. What is that collar and that hideous fringe-like what have you at the bottom? No just no, this has to go. Mr. Alaia, what were you thinking? 2) The video dahlin', give me the darn video (ok so this isn't show related per se). But please this time more movements. I saw the preview of the video and yes you look gorgeous, but I only saw you sitting and running towards the camera. I'll admit both shots were gorgeous and I loved the light effect they did when you were running so that it looks like her hair is glowing, but there has to be more. A storyline. You and Brett can make magic happen so please . (Friday 8 May 2015; 0:41)

Vegas drama (53,049) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter If anyone says anything bad about the Vegas performance, I rebuke it. Haha, no really, I think she put up a great show. Look this show is not for her core lambs only. Many people will be attending the show, some of them may not even know all her 18 #1's and some heard about how she is labelled the songbird supreme and heard her uber popular songs and so they want to witness her magical voice in person. My point is talking about lip-syncing here is pretty pointless, because this show's focus really is to show the "perfect" Mariah to re-introduce her to the world, to the GP. For that they have to ensure that no stones are left unturned when it comes to her putting up a stellar show that will keep people talking. This is Vegas, not a generic Mariah Carey concert. Everything has to be perfect, and since MC's voice is quite unpredictable (because of its fragility) they have to have back up. She can't afford flaws in such a show because people will tear her apart, the GP won't just be fine with MC changing up her songs to suit her current voice. They want the big voiced 90s Mariah. We as fans may want her to sing in her current capacity but GP will want to hear the songs the way they heard it on the radio. If anyone thinks she should sing all her 18 #1's (some of which are the hardest songs ever written) at a go and not lip sync at all, well you are setting up unrealistic expectations. Plus the girl is trying, give her a chance. The world is rejoicing her return, let us also take a moment and be thankful for all the masterpieces she has given us by putting her most valuable asset (her voice) at stake. Orkun / Abraham (52,968) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter Orkun I am glad you had the same reaction I did to the "leaked" TMZ clips. I had it on repeat and it kept giving me goosebumps. She sounds so good. We'll hopefully get more clips of songs so you can tell me what you think of the singing parts. Abraham, like Orkun said, I am happy to see the new you. Really you were always a sweetheart, but it's nice to see you are being critical too. Haha I know it sounds weird (I mean since when is that good) but I hope you know what I mean. When I saw you post something negative after the release of "Infinity", I actually did a double take, like wait a minute, is uber positive Abraham criticizing MC. I hope this message doesn't come out wrong, I'm just trying to say I respect your opinion and the fact that you don't blindly fall for everything MC releases is something I can respect. No one is perfect, so MC is no exception. I just have more respect for people who know can weigh in on the good and bad. I love "Infinity" but I can totally respect the fact that you are not feeling it. I will regret posting this tomorrow. Again, I really really hope you got what I meant. Orkun (52,965) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter Haha Orkun dahlin' you are such a sweetheart, you made me chuckle out loud at the fashion advice-vocal coach trade. And you know I am all up for it. I am officially taking you on as my vocal coach and I will try to give a run through of the fashion to the best of my ability. Now about her dresses. I'd say overall she is doing great. I absolutely loved the black dress fishtail dress she is wearing in all the interview clips surfacing at Vegas. No one can pull off a fish tail dress (especially with a wider frame) like Miss Carey does. She just looks beautiful in them. The dress along with that hair is perfection. I also loved the little number she wore for the Michael Strahan interview. Fits her really well. Now for her stage costumes, I love this number here because it looks super flattering on her. What I am not sure about yet is the pink number she wore. The photos are hazy, so I'll have to wait until more HQ photos comes out after the show today. I'd really like her to wear less of the full length gowns though, because that is so 2013-14 Mariah. She has great legs so she should show them off more. I also love how in the GMA interview and in the Funny or Die sketch, her boobs are more covered and so we can all focus on her other gorgeous features. That gazillion dollar face and them billion dollar legs. The wetsuit throwback for Honey, now no matter how much I tell MC to dress her age (and size), I am loving the wetsuit and her bringing the jet ski on the stage. Anyways it's like 5 am (5 am and I still can't sleep) so forgive me for my messy answer, I promise to give a better run through once we see clear pictures. (Thursday 7 May 2015; 1:13)

I have been a MC fan for a long time now and yet everyday I find new performances or interviews or appearances of her that gets me fan girling all over again. I never got to see her, yet I take everything MC and MJ related personally and I am defensive about them. I can say whatever I want about MC or complain (and so can all the lambs who want the best for her) but if a non-lamb tries to poke fun at her in a bad way or insult her, I will hunt them down (sung a la TMB) and give them some well deserved sass. Love Takes Time (52,927) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter I love this song. I was listening to some of the live performances of this song from the early 1990s just a few days back. This song is perfection. It has always been a favorite of mine. Hearing her sing it now again has been an "oh my gosh" moment for me. (Wednesday 6 May 2015; 13:21)

Like I said, I get where your initial perspective came from and also sometimes we see things differently and only after hearing someone else's perspective do we give it a second thought. Plus I can see you are clearly a devoted MC fan and want nothing but the best for her. I am so excited about this era. She seems to be getting good press, people are back to acknowledging her legendary status and look beyond the ditzy diva image. Her interviews are on point. She is finally gracing the BBMA stage after 17 years (the last time she was also promoting her first #1's album with the lead single). TMZ, who was responsible for publicizing her isolated vocals being faulty is the same show now singing her praises. Everyone seems to be back on Team Mariah. I am getting hopeful. Nothing would please me more than for Mariah to once again rise to the top against all odds. Just one more time (sung a la My All dance remix where the part "just one more night" plays on and on). Childish/immature lyrics? (52,922) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter I am actually a fan of Mariah because she has such diversity in her lyrics. She can pen a emotionally heavy number like "Twister" a thought provoking realization number like "Outside", a woman in pain at the loss of her lover like "Mine again" and yet at the same time make you put on your sunglasses and do a diva power walk through the clubs (pretending you are the ish) like "Migrate", give you the perfect song to do your make up to for a night out "It's like that" and give you witty lyrics to flirt up and yet be mysterious with a guy "Touch my body". Come on, you know MC can still pen the emotional numbers, did you all miss out on Camouflage and Cry just last year? She can still give you those moments, but what makes her so unique is she can also give you the fun, summery, flirty, totally "what the f did she just say" lyrics and I love, love, love that. I love it when MC gets witty with her lyrics as much as I love it when MC can make be bawl listening to one of her songs and connecting it with my own pain. Sometimes I need a to get up from bawling my eyes out and getting my crap together while feeling fabulous and I am grateful that in such scenarios I don't need to go find another artist to write me a sexy fun song with the "did she just say that" lyrics, I can get all these from Mariah. She's literally the whole package. She can make you cry, she can give you hope, she can be your friend, then she can be the person who gives you a diva makeover. (Wednesday 6 May 2015; 12:28)

The moment the Love Takes Time whistle hit, I got goosebumps all over. They have snippets of her high notes from LTT, Someday, Emotions, along with her singing Hero flawlessly. I was almost dancing around to the whistles at the end of Emotions. She is back everyone. You might want to sit first before hearing these. By the way, MC's team must have really gotten in touch with TMZ. They are being very nice with her ever since her move to Sony. (Wednesday 6 May 2015; 11:57)
