With just a few hours left, I'll be honest, I am really nervous, with the internet going crazy thinking what will Mariah reveal, I'm scared that at this point an album cover reveal will piss some people off because they have been waiting for two days. Now I know the link shared has the words "album artwork reveal" but I don't think people really saw it because they are still debating as to what the reveal might be and also the "artwork reveal" part is not appearing in all places. Abraham (51,597) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter I really like Triumphant and I actually don't even mind the rappers. I like the song as it is. I do like the additional part she recorded for the remix, and it would have been great if someone it could have been incorporated in the main song, but I have nothing but love for this song. It's very uplifting for me. I also adore the video. Very glamorous and I love the gold accents all over the video. That's what Mariah is, pure gold. I am not a fan of the #Beautiful video, but I love how she looked in it. She was gorgeous and didn't look even close to 40. I hope Sony gives her a decent budget for videos. I don't want to have another H.A.T.E.U. moment, which was also directed by Brett but was not good due to low budget. But I think the new video will be great because MC said it will blow our minds. RJJ12 (51,591) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter It bugs me to say this (mainly because I absolutely adore the video of Say Somethin') but I have to agree with you that it was a weak song. The Neptunes didn't even try on this track. I sometimes like this song, and maybe I'll dig it up and listen to it but that happens quite rarely. It's sexy and all but whatever it does for me, I'd say So Lonely does better. Obviously the two are completely different in sound and music but the sensual lyrics and message of desire is pretty much the same. I however absolutely love the video and MC looks great in it, otherwise I wouldn't mind if the track was not on the album. Also I get what you mean about the countdown. It's exciting and all but I think a 6 hour countdown would have been more than enough if it was just to reveal an album cover. As much as I want to see it, having to hyperventilate for 2 days for a picture is not fun. However the Sony China notice gives me some hope that if not Sunday then by Monday we might get a huge announcement. Am I being to greedy? (Sunday 12 April 2015; 6:17)

Warren and Bill (51,590) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter Warren, I would have no problem believing that because Your Girl is a good summer song and I have many a time heard it on repeat, trying to pretend I can hit those notes. But like I said, I have a love hate relationship with it and sometimes end up skipping it. You are absolutely right when you say MC caters to everyone because Triumphant is a song I really love and it's very uplifting for me but I know that majority of the lambs hate it, so that's why I have come to accept that we all have different choices. Bill, To The Floor is one of my favourites too. I love the song and the vocals are so sultry and the song is sexy yet laid back. MC's vocals are sexy and for some reason like you said "free" sounds like the most appropriate description. The backs no forth flirting between MC and Nelly shows their chemistry. Timariah (51,583) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter Mine Again and Circles are far from being album fillers. They are true gems of TEOM. Apart from the singles these are the two I listen to the most from this album although this album really had no bad track. I have a love-hate relationship with Your Girl. I sometimes really enjoy it, but at other times I tend to skip it. But the other two you mentioned are amazing songs. (Saturday 11 April 2015; 20:44)

AIWFCIY (51,577) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter For all those hoping that AIWFCIY is included in the new #1's I think your wish will be granted because her cover photo includes the single cover of the song and it is the only song in the photo that didn't hit #1. All the other photos in the collage are obviously her other 18 #1's. So including AIWFCIY's artwork may be the obvious sign that it's gonna be part of the collection which is fitting because #1 on Billboard hot 100 or not, this song is legendary. It was sexy yet classy and she looked every bit the gorgeous sophisticated diva. Her hair, makeup, accessories and everything was on point. Did you guys see her new picture with Lee Daniels? She looks gorgeous there too. She is really working on her image. About Janet, so I read this article about the single and this one fan also talked about it but now for the life of me, I can't find a single article about her single so sorry for raising a false alarm. I should have done my research first. Anyways, back to Mariah. I'm glad how things are going this era and I hope it steadily gets better. The internet is going crazy over the major reveal. I know in many places it says that the cover art will be revealed, but I also read Sony China claims there is a huge announcement coming up so I can't help but think there might be more to it. Plus tying in the reveal with the release date of TEOM might be a hint that there will be more than the cover art. (Saturday 11 April 2015; 11:04)

Could this finally be the Mariah featuring Janet song that fans have been demanding for so long? Don't want to get too excited but I can just imagine a song with simultaneous laid back and up tempo beats with MC doing the laid back sexy part and Janet bringing on the up tempo moves to get our grooves on. Since it will be revealed at the 10th anniversary of TEOM, it might be a huge reveal, but at this point I'll take whatever info MC throws my way. MC may be going through a career low but no way would a publicist be stupid enough to drop an A list celeb, especially one with so much drama surrounding her at all times. It's a PR's dream client. It's quite shameful and unprofessional of Cindi to have spun the story to make it look like she dropped Mariah. On the other hand, Mariah's alleged letter to Cindi seems nice and sweet. You are just such a sweet member of the board and your messages are always great. As for the picture, I remember you said before that you loved it and I really do love it too. It's one of her greatest shoots. As for the cover, I figured since she used a new unused picture for the cover of the original #1's, she should use a new one for this one too and then use older pictures for a booklet. But ya well I guess she can keep it as the official cover, it wouldn't be the end of the world and she does look the right about of gorgeous and sexy in it. But ya at least I just want her to use new shoots for interviews and the other album we keep hearing about. I wonder when we'll see the new official cover for the #1's album and the new single cover. April 27th just can't come fast enough. I do hope she leaves us breadcrumbs here and there in terms of album details or promo shots to keep us tied over until the single drops. I mean she had so many great photoshoots after that. But like last year remember when she was suddenly on the cover of 2-3 magazines? And apart from Wonderland most of them were old photos? That gets me annoyed. She does look good on the Vegas cover though and her picture inside with the white dress has always been a favourite shoot of mine. (Friday 10 April 2015; 1:42)

Photoshoots (51,526) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter Ya well it's not only the cover but even the picture inside of the white dress that is from a shoot from Emancipation era. This bugs me. I don't get why Mariah is digging up old pictures for recent interviews. She did the same in last year's magazine spreads. All of the pictures were from older shoots. She looks fabulous, why not just go for new shoots? When I buy a magazine, I like a new shoot accompanied with it. The pictures are almost as important as the interview for me. As much as I love the black and white shot from the E=MC2 era that she is using for her #1's promo, I seriously hope the actual album cover will be different and from a recent shoot. Is she changing up the keys? Will she be singing the 2015 remixed versions? Will there be guest performers? They are really keeping this era under wraps, which is frustrating but I won't complain. It's good that they are building up mystery around this project, dropping just enough hints to get the public intrigued. I hope everything plays out according to plan. (Thursday 9 April 2015; 14:36)

All this while I was whining about when we'll get the new single, but now that we have the date, I just can't wait. I need to hear it, I need to see the video. MC you are killing me here woman. I am getting a feeling that this song will be awesome (although Mariah has rarely, if ever disappointed me with her music) and that this might really be the comeback MC needs. All the recent changes being made in her camp is making me feel positive. Now I just hope they get the publicity right and most importantly, I hope MC nails the vocals at Vegas right. That's all she needs to get her throne back. She doesn't need to get on stage and be half naked like all the others. (Thursday 9 April 2015; 14:30)

But anyways, we have a date. April 27th. Oh gosh, I can't wait. But I read she's heading over to Vegas next week for rehearsals so I don't know when she'll promote it. As for Cindi Berger's departure, I wouldn't be too worried about it. In fact I am glad that things are being shaken up a bit in the Carey camp because she had the same people around her for a very long time and it's apparent that none of them knew how to handle Mariah anymore. I think L A Reid is pushing Mariah to start over with a new team and it's a good thing. She's already hired a new management team. Anyways, I can't wait for the new single. Abraham (51,470) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter That's exactly my concern too. There is basically not much time left. I am wondering each day why there is still no promo at all. Whatever happened to the new single and video? Why are there no more appearances? I thought right before going to Vegas she'd go on some major shows and perform the new single along with one of her #1 (each show will feature a different #1 track, suppose Ellen can have "new single plus Fantasy", Fallon can have "new single plus ABMB" or maybe each shows can have the new single along with a different 3-song medley for each show, so she can cover all 18 songs in 6 appearances). This would probably help get the attention of people that are not familiar with MC music to get interested in her back catalogue and what better way to get all of these gems in 1 CD than the new #1's album? Hence it'll act as a promo for the album and would also encourage fans and non-fans to check out the Vegas shows and also remind/inform them about it in case they had no idea that there is a show happening. If that's true then shouldn't the promotions start right about now? Especially since I am assuming MC will need to relocate to Vegas days or even weeks before her first show. No word on the new single that will carry the album forward. I am getting a little worried. It feels like a deja vu of the MIAM era. I know Sony will do a better job than that and Caesar's team will also be promoting it, but as of now I can't find any scheduled appearances. (Sunday 5 April 2015; 21:58)

Not only has he time and again indirectly insulted Mariah, he kept his mouth shut let his dad say those disgusting things about his wife. Someone asked why would Nick risk his reputation by writing a tell all. Well first of all, what reputation does he really have? And in Hollywood one doesn't require a good reputation, they need controversies. Everyone hates the Kardashians but yet every single day the Kardashians are adding to their huge empire and now they are even accepted in the high fashion A list events where previously they weren't allowed. So yup. Secondly this book deal may have been signed a while back and at that time MC had one bad publicity after another. Plus everyone has always loved hating on MC. So Nick possibly thought people would sympathize with him for putting up within such a major diva. MC is no saint. And she is definitely not perfect but no one deserves to be betrayed like this. Anyways, the book deal is still a rumor and I hope it stays that way, these are just possible reasons for his actions. (Sunday 5 April 2015; 16:44)
