Rihanna's Love on the Brain (70,212)
by darrian liu from taiwan
| |
|
|
It's such a good, soulful song. I think if Mariah lets loose on her vocals, she could do really well on an old school R&B/soul song like Rih's Love on the Brain.

Here Comes Santa Claus / The Keys of Christmas (70,211)

I thought she did good and looked banging. I really don't mind her ultra sexy outfits because I realized that I have no say in what a woman should do to her body and what a woman should or shouldn't wear. I'd say let her do anything with her body, as long as it doesn't harm her in any way. About her wearing sexy outfits with her children, children don't sexualize body parts. They probably just thought of it as another piece of clothing. Basically I just wanna focus on her music, her performances, and her career moves instead of her clothing.

Sure, but Truth made it sound like her career was over post-Tommy. That's laughable. Her last #1 hit was roughly a full 20 years after her first single. How many artists in history can say that? Perspective, people.

Dystopian diva (70,208)
by RibbonB from USA

I hope Mariah has reached rock bottom this year, but alas I fear it may get even worse next year. I am praying for "dem babies" and their dad Nick who is in the hospital again and praying for Mariah that she will step back into real reality, not E network dumbed down, dragged out, drunk and or drugged out diva reality.

Coming clean (70,207)
by SM from Citizen of the World

I have been a anti social Mariah fan since I was like 6, when my grandmother was playing her tapes. I always felt insecure. I always felt out of place. I never fit in, everyone used to make fun of me, I have suffered from a alcohol disease and eating disorder but Mariah always made me feel alive. Mariah always helped me with my everyday struggle, she basically helped me to where I am today. I am trying to be happy right now but I just want everyone to know how much I am so grateful for Mariah and I am so thankful for her being my idol the past 26 years and if it wasn't for her and her music and yes her crazy eras I wouldn't be alive. I am so grateful she keeps me moving. I look up to her more than anyone and I absolutly love her. I don't know what else to say besides Merry Christmas to everyone and lets have a pow moment.

Re: "Baby Bling" post on MariahsWorld website (70,201) (70,205)

This website is looking to be a bad idea. I don't know what the point of this post is but it's stupid. There are already a handful of websites that report on the ridiculous and ridiculously overpriced baby items out there. On top of it, unless it was gifted, Moroccan and Monroe didn't even seem to get anything like this stuff. They had regular baby things. So why write a list of overpriced things that you wouldn't get for your own kids. Let's not be out here doing anything for a dollar Mariah.

Is Mariah the "parasite"? (70,204)
by Mirage from Unicornatopia
| |
|
|
I see a lot of posts referring to Stella or Anthony as "parasites", but in reality, these people only seem to be doing what Mariah wants them to do. In that new video, Mariah looks like she is trying to mix porno chic with Christmas, and it does not work. The Mariah's World website is a disgusting reminder of how out of touch Mariah is. Can we really blame all these decisions on other people? I think it's time people stopped referring to Mariah's staff as parasites, and perhaps viewed them as her staff. She is the president of Mariah Carey Inc, and thus their employer. None of the nonsense we have seen over the last two years gets done without Mariah's approval and indeed, input. She has a lot more control than people give her credit for.

Clownish version of her former self? (70,202)
by Edward from USA
| |
|
|
Looking at Mariah with her play dressed-up image, I couldn't help but wonder: Is she really aware of the way she presents herself visually, not only with her "I bought dem boobs I should show them to the world" attitude mixed with her weird bodysuits, strange outfits and drag queen stilettos? Nothing against drag queens, but they use those type of stilettos for a reason, they are men with men feet that need big shoes, lol. It seems to be that it hasn't sunk on her that she's a legend and that she doesn't need the puppet show to continue with her career still achieving moderate success. Classy-sexy doesn't have anything to do with trashy. I thought that the older the classier she would become, but it's sad to see that she seems to think that "All We Want for Christmas Is Boobs". If she really thinks that she exudes Marilyn Monroe type of sexiness, somebody is not really telling her the truth. She perfectly and candidly emulated Marilyn persona on the "I Still Believe" music video, and played a very sexy spy on the "Honey" video, but her new visual presentation is disastrous to me.

"Baby Bling" post on MariahsWorld website (70,201)
by Martyn from England, UK
| |
|

What is this distasteful post all about? Why are Mariah and her team so obsessed with flaunting her wealth when so many people in the world are struggling to get by? How much has Mariah been paid for this post? Is it really worth it? Why is she continuing to alienate herself with this bizarre behaviour? A $1,400 silver spoon. An actual silver spoon. Who would buy a silver spoon for their child? Horrendous. I just don't understand what's going on in her head anymore.

After seeing these messages and seeing the picture after I made my other post I think I might pass on watching the video. Lol. I shouldn't be surprised by all the boobage, but I am considering it's Christmas. Even though the boobage can be overwhelming at times it really doesn't bother me, but it's Christmas. Lol.

Her boobs look sore because she fed Rock and Roe before the video. You know she takes mother(ship or hood depending on how she's feeling at the moment) very seriously.

Article: Mariah serves too much cleavage in R-rated music video (70,194)
by Lila from United States

Well, there goes my thimble of hope that she would show up to the Lionel concerts dressed appropriately. The Beacon outfits were horrible too but I still had a smidgeon of hope. Why, I don't know. I thought the white dress was better until I saw the plunging see through panel in the middle of her breasts, that gives a front and side view of them. If she'll slip on thot wear for Jesus and Santa Clause, there's no hope for the viewing audiences. These videos would've been a cute idea had she worn something appropriate. The comments section will be nothing but a put some clothes on, don't be so desperate, don't dress like that in front of your kids, and a couple of slurs I don't think you have to use too much brain power to figure out mess, sprinkled, here and there, with perverted comments about her breasts. Ugh. Also, for the love of all things Holy, someone tell her to stop wearing that ugly necklace.

Bryan is just a back up dancer and nothing more. Anthony is a choreographer, creative director and dancer who has worked on Beyonce's Leomande, Superbowl and many more big projects. He speaks his mind without being afraid to lose his job. I applaud him for that.

Anthony is a drama queen, trying to hype up the show. Typical. While he is a great dancer, he is also a drama queen who is a back up dancer. Another parasite.

Anthony tweet (70,187)
by RibbonB from USA
| |
|
|
Well someone has some "splaining" to do. This tweet is from one of Mariah's dancers responding to some shade thrown his way. "Anthony Burrell. Let these folk wreck they [sic] brain over a show created for dummies. Make you believe what they want you to believe Anthony Burrell is the dance captain, they are in charge of communicating needs to tour management. Responsible for dancers". This on his twitter feed. "A show created for dummies. Make you believe what they want you to believe". That is utterly telling.
