About Andrew from the UK:

MC30 (104,817) by Andrew from the UK
I love me some Eddie. But how can something of which there are rumours be a surprise?

Stacey is correct using the word "mess" but it should refer to the entire project. Everything about it was created or handled in a fashion unbecoming a supposed international superstar. That being said, there are some great melodies and vocals on MIAM.

Personally, I believe Triumphant Pulse Remix, Almost Home, The Art of Letting Go and You Don't Know To Do are pretty special. I encourage Mariah to make her next record an upbeat dance record. Don't nobody need another Cautionary tale that will disappear in a fraction of the time it takes to create.

But then there's nobody to blame when it all goes tits up. We know that Mariah - and the lambs - always need third parties to blame when she doesn't sell. And people to dismiss, in favour of praising her alone, when she does.

The Elusive Chanteuse (104,791) by Andrew from the UK
I don't believe anyone was calling her that. Except for her. She liked the way it sounded so created a narrative. If anyone has information to the contrary, I'm all ears.

"Me. I Make Things Up... Eternally Chatshit." It was such an awful album title with a cartoon cover, and with vocals so engineered that it's difficult to listen to.

The Art of Letting Go as an album title was great. As was the song itself, save for the kitchen window lyrics.

"Songs in the Key of MC" is gonna blow us out the water.

Sour grapes (104,775) by Andrew from the UK
Were that true, Mariah would simply sound like an acerbic, sore loser. "I was robbed" is usually, and understandably, followed up with the questions: "Of what? And by whom?" And anyone not willing to provide clarity on that ought never to have made the original protestation. That is to say: one would just sound spiteful.

New things (104,771) by Andrew from the UK
Mariah certainly is trying new things for 2024: she walks unaided to a car in Aspen in a white coat and black dress. That's right. Nobody is holding her hand. So a photo from her bad side, walking unaided, dressing like a superstar, losing weight: what's next? A great pop album with full voice vocals? I'd have to see it to believe it but here's hoping. "Songs in the Key of MC" will be killer.

Damn I missed that. I stand so advised. And I think William is going for the sexiest poster. Someone second it and we can pass the motion.

Unless Bobby-A finally reveals his visage on his profile to clinch it. It's throwdown or siddown time. What's it to be Bobby-A?

Or shall we do suggested title for the upcoming album? My brain is working on something like "Songs in the Key of MC" or "Songs in the Key of NYC".

Have a day off, would you? Pretty sure I posted recently celebrating Mariah's 93-weeks at Number One. Oh wait, that's right, I did.

I hope for your sake you're hot, honey. Because with a personality like that, you're gonna need to be. Good luck.

Tanaka (104,696) by Andrew from the UK
You ought to retract the apology. You simply misspoke. Nobody thinks you are so "stupid" as to think *all* straight men want to procreate.

But it is true to say that *generally speaking* men seek to have children by the time they are 40 - as male fertility begins to decline aged 40 and onwards. Similarly, women seek to have children by their early 30's for the same reason. There's rather a lot of literature on this.

Whilst not all straight men want - or even have - children, respectfully, most do, else the global population would likely be in a rapid decline (something it is due to do within our lifetimes).

So, whilst we will never know what ended the Tanaka relationship, the fact that he is more likely than not to want children, and that Mariah has likely gone through the menopause (or is doing so at the moment), is not a bad proposition.

Don't kowtow to any person that calls you stupid. Stand up for yourself. (Unless it's me, of course.) It's certainly not you that has the Dunce Hat on this week. Can you guess who has?

I'm not sure - given that you could assuredly add the total sum of Billie Eilish listeners to the total sum of Lana Del Rey listeners and assume they've committed suicide come January 1. That must bump Mariah up a couple.

Clarity (104,641) by Andrew from the UK
Surely Music Box, Daydream and the Emancipation of Mimi are the albums most loved by the public: not only have they sold the most, but they contain the songs that everyone knows her for.

I am glad Mariah has popular annual material to sell but Christmas feels ever increasingly like a novelty. All the benefits of having such material makes real the threat of being known only for being a novelty act and having the rest of a (quite formidable) catalogue fall by the wayside. It's unnerving for someone who is a long time, avid fan.

It's both uniquely great and concerning.

New albums (104,634) by Andrew from the UK
Squeeze me? Baking powder? Did you just say you're looking forward to a new "album" from "J.Lo"? I wish hard copies were still a thing because I would buy one, use the booklet to wipe myself after skimming the disc across the water. She's not even an entertainer. She's duplicitous, and a liar. She is not what she is.

The last "I *just* can't escape this pain *so* deep inside because love takes ti-yi-yi-yi-ime" is the greatest vocal arrangement of this song. I wish it were on the actual record.

I never *got* liking the debut voice over what came after. 92-94 may have had ever-so-slightly less power, but the tone was more silky and fluid. It was beautiful and impressive - as opposed to just impressive. The debut era feels like Mariah attended the Whitney Houston School of Shouting.
