First of all she didn't dress up as Mariah, she dressed up as a contestant from shows like "The Bachelor", not any particular contestant but a made up one. Secondly, even if she had dressed up as Mariah, Mariah would find it funny since it wasn't done in a malicious manner or to make fun of her, Ellen often wears her fake boobs and persona to dress up as different celebrities like Sofia Vergara, a made up Kardashian JLo (while JLo was with her), Nicki Minaj and so on. These celebs that she dresses up as are usually also on her show while she is dressed as them and they find it hilarious too. Ellen also "dressed up" as Sofia Vergara with the dress ripped from behind to imitate the incident when Sofia dress tore off near her butt during an award show. And as for someone dressing up as Ellen, Kate McKinnon already did it on Ellen's show (Wednesday 31 October 2018; 17:31)

This has greatly helped her public image recently. I know she used to over play the diva card since she thought it would be funny but I guess at one point she kind of was engulfed by her own image. Everything her team is doing with her current image is just amazing. I cannot believe she actually managed to get the GP on her side because I thought the Stella era had ruined her image beyond repair. Thank the good Lord for her deciding to ditch those darn bodysuits she wore as a uniform even in the freezing cold. (Friday 26 October 2018; 13:29)

Although I myself prefer the cover with the neon M and think it's a better, the other cover isn't bad and moreover she looks great. The fact that it is blue and not the usual "standard color" or black and white has you shook now? She has updated her music style to fit the current trend so maybe she is going for different visuals? This is along the lines of The Weeknd's "Starboy" cover. I understand having preferences, but to basically call the decision "insane" or "weed induced" (albeit jokingly) is being a little too dramatic. Let's look at the bigger picture, Mariah finally has a project that is getting the roll out and attention that she deserves and she is giving out surprises in the form of new tracks, "The Voice" role and so on almost weekly. Her public image has been the best that it has been in years, she is finally looking and acting like the iconic legend that she is (and not some trashy washed up pop star that Stella turned her into) and she is back to her classy sophisticated self. Her music videos have gone from the uncomfortable "look at me touch myself" to a more classy sexy look with artistic visuals. Let's focus on the positives for now. Ariana (85,134) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter There's apparently a rumor going around that a "glitch" caused some tracks to be revealed on Mariah's album and a track called "Far" with a length of 3 minutes 19 seconds features Ariana. The track was listed as the third track. As of now I don't buy this rumor at all since if there was indeed a glitch, other tracks would have been revealed too and as far as the screenshot shows they only show the first 3 tracks, two of which we already know. Re: Album title (84,983) (84,997) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter While "Charmbracelet", "Rainbow" and "Glitter" were quite childish album titles, I think "Butterfly" was the perfect album title for that album. It signified her metamorphosis, her finally being free emotionally and also free to experiment with her sound and do the kind of music she wished to do. It also signified her change in her music videos and her personal style. That album title truly represented Mariah and her music at that point of time. (Wednesday 17 October 2018; 19:45)

Ariana (84,924) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter Ariana has recently started talking about Mariah a lot, in positive light. This is after years of distancing herself from Mariah and not naming her as one of her influences (which I'm sure she did because she got a lot of backlash for trying to copy Mariiah). But anyways she is now back frequently naming Mariah in interviews and using the "I don't know her" reference to someone (not Mariah), listening to GTFO and recently using that photo of Mariah's "Vote or Die" campaign on her instagram story. Mariah then acknowledged that story by liking a tweet about it. I wonder if they got together and cooked up a collaboration. Mariah did say she worked on a lot of collaborations although I don't know if she meant with other singers/rappers or if she was just referring to writers/producers. (Tuesday 16 October 2018; 05:19)

Re: Album cover (84,913) (84,922) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter Haha 2 years back I would have probably put in a huge bet about Mariah being on the cover wearing nothing but a caution tape, but with her current era and current team, I see they are giving her a more sophisticated sexy look instead of the "I'll be showing up everywhere in a bodysuit or lingerie" trashy moments she had just a while back. The more toned down classy-sexy image is really working for Mariah and it takes me back to her "Butterfly" era where she started dressing sexy but never looked trashy. MV (84,734) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter Gosh Mariah looks stunning in the music video. Every single shot is perfection, this woman is so beautiful it's crazy. I was just staring at her like what on earth is the beautiful creature? Even though the music video doesn't have a story line, I really liked it. She is fun and playful in it. She doesn't try to be sexy to the point where she looks uncomfortable (or makes the audience uncomfortable haha). She just looks amazing. She has the most beautiful smile.
