MC's masters (100,656) by Robert-Anthony from United States I just finished watching a ABC documentary- The Sound of Freedom. There was a whole segment about what Prince did to own his masters. He was credited to changing the game for music artists to own their masters. It is reported on the web that MC only owns her Glitter masters. I wonder why she hasn't asked Columbia and Island/Def Jam for her masters. Rihianna left Island/Def Jam with her masters. If Ciara can ask for her masters and receive them for free, surely MC can do the same. (Tuesday 5 July 2022; 00:34)

I was looking for Underneath The Stars as the promotional maxi CD. During the years 1995-97, I was purchasing a lot of MC promotional CDs and vinyl releases (the flimsy paper thin cover that was used a lot for European and Asia releases) from this record store in New York City. The owner would send me a typed out list of MC merchandise everytime I ordered something. That's how I obtained the 3-track Underneath The Stars promotional maxi CD. Maybe I am putting this 3-track Underneath The Stars in the wrong release category. I was thinking about Anytime You Need A Friend as the double 12 inch vinyl. I found my copy at a local record shop in Chicago 1996 when I moved there for a man. But that is another story for another time. Lol. I like your response for Caution. MC would probably say, "Instant grats, dahling." You're are right about The Rarities. It is crazy how much the vinyl compilation is going for on Ebay now. I am predicting with every vinyl compilation release in the future, it will always go for an extremely high price on Ebay. I was looking for Anytime You Need A Friend - The Soul Convention Mix as the special remix found on cassette only. Maybe I am wrong that is was released exclusively to the cassette release only. It was another great find at a local music store in the U.S. for those of us who remember Turtles Record Stores. (Monday 4 July 2022; 14:18)

On the website for FYE's Mix and Burn there is a Your Girl EP available with 2 tracks remixed by The Diplomats featuring Camaron and Juelz Santana. On the same website, there a 4 track The One EP with one 10 minute track not available. It's looks like during these two years of MC30, they added a 14 track EP of IWTKWLI. Check out their website. I buy EPs from them all of the time if the physical release is not available. I have been holding off purchasing MC's EPs and Remixes until later this year. It is good that they have added some new ones this year. Nevermind the dates they list for the EPs because FYE for some reason will upload the date of the original album release or the date when the label makes the music available for digital sale. Are these EPs with the same tracks available on iTunes and Spotify? (Thursday 23 June 2022; 21:00)

Question (100,558) by Robert-Anthony from United States Did MC sneak and release remixes of The One, Yours, and IWTKWLS this year as apart of MC30 and not mention it? I think that I may have stumbled upon something today. I want to make sure that it is nothing new to the rest of you. Anyway, I am ready for MC to go ahead to release a mega vinyl boxset of remixes and rare tracks. It is time now. Waiting until MC40 will not diminish her future catalogue earnings. We all think Mariah's career would take off again if she went back to formula of her debut album of ballads and the total package. However, we get the Mariah who finds singing ballads boring. So, what we get is the hip hop diva MC. If John Legend can work with Ryan Tedder and give the world the brillant Honey featuring Muni Long, then why won't MC call Ryan Tedder or Greg Kurstin up to create her old formula of ballads? Do you think? (100,507) by Robert-Anthony from United States Has MC lost her drive to be a recording artist? It is almost like she is afraid to release another album because of what would be said in the media if it fails commercially. I feel MC could not take another album that is a commercial failure. In my opinion, she doesn't have the drive anymore to promote and support an album with an extensive promotional schedule and world tour. She seemed like she had to put on the diva persona when she is in a element she can't control the lighting and how she will be perceived by the audience of her peers. MC's bioplar diagnosis causes her to act this way. It is clear that her dysfunctional family has scarred her real personality severely. She hasn't healed from the hurt that she had endured by her family all of these years. We didn't know in the early 1990s how hurt MC was inside. It was hard to watch her speech to the end. I almost felt like the laughs at the end of her speech were like the audience was mocking her last comments. We might not ever get another "real" album or tour again. I kind of wished MC was as strong and direct as Monique. (Friday 17 June 2022; 19:58)

Re: Beyoncé album? (100,465) (100,466) by Robert-Anthony from United States Beyonce has been on a different level with the media and the Beehive since she dropped her albums Beyonce and Lemonade. After she released her lackluster album 4, Beyonce took her career to a different level. All of this new hype started a week ago when she removed all of her profile pics from her social media. She does little things like this to get the world wondering what she is plotting next in her career. We only wish MC would step up her game to get the world talking about her next moves. Chat time with the Lambily on Twitter Spaces every three months is not going to do it. She gives us the same spill everytime that she is "working on multiple projects". Re: Collaborations (100,451) (100,455) by Robert-Anthony from United States I believe with Pharrell, Dev Hynes and Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis she can create again the magic of TEOM. Her voice wasn't in the best state then, but she had some great producers who gave MC hot tracks to sing over. It is probably good that she wait to release MC16 in 2023 when she can better position her music for radio airplay. Just my two cents today. (Wednesday 15 June 2022; 21:12)

Could MC drop the Jumpsmokers and Angels Advocate remix album the next day on Friday? It kind of makes sense since it was announced this past Friday that it would be released.
