About Bill from the UK: I love Mariah more than you do.

London Daydream Tour Attendee.

Re: Do You Think of Me (77,372) (77,377) by Bill from the UK
I love Do You Think of Me. So much. That is so much more sensual and sexy than Honey ever could be. No offence to Honey of course, I love that song, but DYTOM is a whole other level of sensuality. And the lyrics... we've all been there.

I genuinely believe you are just trolling everybody Terna. Nobody can be that delusional.

Lol, I posted my predicted set list a week or so ago.

There's so much I could say in reply to everything that's horrifically wrong with this message, but I haven't the energy or wherewithal.

Re: Mariah and Monroe (77,185) (77,191) by Bill from the UK
Haha, a part of me sort of really, really hopes I'm right (exclamation mark).

Re: Mariah the mother vs Mariah the entertainer (77,186) (77,190) by Bill from the UK
I really thought the woman who "wades in insecurity" would vanish when the babies arrived. I don't wish to put words in everybody's mouths, but I think I speak for a lot of us when I say that a person's mother is always the loveliest and most beautiful woman in the world to that person. For that reason she has no need to be insecure because for Moroccan and Monroe, she will always be their world.

Re: Mariah and Monroe (77,176) (77,183) by Bill from the UK
That was a great video, thanks for sharing. The only glimpses of the Mariah I know and love is when she is with her children. The Instagram pics she always looks happy and normal and relaxed and real, same as that moment with them on stage. I wonder if the woman who wears lingerie at a night club is some sort of decoy stunt double sometimes.

If it's that bad here Terna, stay away.

Bring on the vomit icon please haha.

Re: The truth (77,117) (77,125) by Bill from the UK
You're right. She can't do any melisma anymore. The upper register is lipped. She just sort of... yells in tune I guess is one way of putting it.

Re: Biggest concern (77,059) (77,061) by Bill from the UK
I can't get my head around how, for a singer of Mariah's status, it is now perfectly acceptable amongst fans for her first few shows to be horrifically bad and that she will improve show by show. If you pay top dollar for tickets to a Mariah Carey concert, you should expect her to do her job professionally and be able to sing through her songs without lip syncing or making changes to the arrangements and keys so that she can sing them through. If I did my job half arsed I'd be sacked, but instead I go in every day and give it "my all", as should she.

Re: All The Hits (77,009) (77,013) by Bill from the UK
As DV said a while ago, we all know what the Lionel set list will be. It will be the same as every other set list. Allow me to elaborate:
08:00 start time
08:10 arrive (late) to Looking In intro
08:15 Emotions (dodged high notes and lipped)
08:20 My All (partially lipped)
08:25 ("Just one more night" club refrain goes on as MC changes costume)
08:30 Trey Lorenz solo song
08:35 I'll Be There (100% live but awful)
08:40 Band Introduction
08:45 Ramble about how much she hates Hero
08:50 Hero (partially lipped)
08:55 We Belong Together (lipped)
09:00 Butterfly Outro

New unheard Fantasy vocals (acapella) (76,974) by Bill from the UK
Hi all, found this video on YouTube with some unused acapella vocals from Fantasy. It sounds like it may have been a re-sung version for the remix as she sings the "whatcha gon' do when you get out of jail" line.

Re: Wrapping up Vegas (76,967) (76,968) by Bill from the UK
Lol, the lambs absolutely crucified JD for no reason, and now he's deemed a not so bad manager by comparison to Stella. So when Stella is no longer her manager and somebody else is at the helm, I can't wait for the "bring back Stella" posts lol. Maybe the common denominator in all this mess is actually Mariah? Hashtag just saying.

Re: Chriatnas [sic] in Vegas? (76,923) (76,925) by Bill from the UK
I'm sure the backing tracks and pre-records will all be in place by then.

Re: Wild Thoughts / chorus girl Mariah (76,917) (76,919) by Bill from the UK
I Know What You Want is a great example of just that. I wonder what happened with the new Busta collar?

Re: 4th of July (76,889) (76,891) by Bill from the UK
The Beautiful Ones is such a poignant song with a really graceful delivery by Mariah. Don't really care too much for Dru Hill but Mariah's "if we got married" line still gets me every time. As for Fourth of July, never skipped it but always felt it a bit too syrupy for my tastes, but lyrically, as with everything on Butterfly, simply wonderful.

Butterfly vinyl (76,816) by Bill from the UK
Interesting fact I have just discovered. The vinyl Butterfly album actually replaces the regular version of Honey with the "Bad Boy Remix" as its opening track. I didn't like that version, mainly because it omitted the James Bond strings (as I call them) which warmed the track up a bit. I wonder if MC will do anything special for the album's 20th anniversary. A remastered re-issue with a vinyl option would be great.

I hope Mariah makes a jazz album just so it annoys you Terna hehe.

Re: Jazz album (76,776) (76,783) by Bill from the UK
I know, that's probably the only regret I have from the early days. Even if it was a side project or a one off concert or something along those lines. The way she tears up Joy To The World at St John the Divine was, well, divine.

Re: Jazz album (76,779) (76,782) by Bill from the UK
Haha. Don't forget the "E". If it's any consolation I listen to AIWFCIY on repeat in my car November 1 - December 31. Passengers hate me for it but we all know they secretly love it.

Re: Jazz album (76,770) (76,774) by Bill from the UK
I've longed for a gospel album for ages. It would be beautiful, her gospel closers are fantastic and her gospel tinged songs like AYNAF have always been favourites of mine. Jesus Oh What A Wonderful Child is a masterpiece.

Have you tried Mariah Network? They have loads of magazine scans and articles on their website.

Wow, thanks for sharing. Sounds like it could be the demo of the song maybe. Great stuff.

Re: Can we all celebrate the fact (76,701) (76,707) by Bill from the UK
You are actually 100% delusional. Only one person was being used in that relationship and it sure as hell wasn't Mariah.
