Let me explain (39,106) by Anonymous from
"Rollin' With Nick Cannon", a weekday morning show on New York radio station 92.3 Now. On August 11, 2011, "Rollin' With Nick Cannon" sidekick Southern Sarah Lee revealed on the show that Cannon broke up with Scherzinger to be with Carey, whom he married in 2008, after a whirlwind courtship of just a few months. As Lee tells it, the breakup conversation began with Scherzinger and Cannon saying that they each had something important to tell each other. Scherzinger said she wanted to go first, and she confessed to Cannon: "I'm in love with you." Cannon had something entirely different to tell Scherzinger: he was dumping her to be with Carey. I'm not saying he isn't good looking or that I don't want her to be happy, I just hope he is sincere. By the way, it's very uncommon for a cancelled show to be given a second chance, especially years later.

Merry Christmas, Daydream, Butterfly, and Music Box from the 90's and TEOM and E=MC2 from the 00's.

I think Mariah's relationship with Nick is hurting her career. He got AGT after marrying MC and now WildNOut is back and making headlines for the guests making jokes about Mariah. It's like Will Smith and Jayden and the After Earth debacle. Hollywood nepotism. What do you guys think?

Awaiting for the new album (38,891) by Anonymous from
I'm fine with awaiting as long as we get another masterpiece like Daydream, Butterfly, and The Emancipation of Mimi.

I haven't heard that song. Thanks for sharing.

Babyface (38,884) by Anonymous from
Never Forget You, Melt Away, and Everytime I Close My Eyes are my favorite songs written by Babyface. I also adore the Waiting to Exhale soundtrack. "Two Occasions", a song written by Babyface and Babyface himself, were later referenced by Mariah in We Belong Together.

The Art Of... Mariah (38,855) by Anonymous from
I want an album like The Emancipation of Mimi that has that retro soul feel with lyrics written solely by Mariah. She used to write her lyrics by herself, but lately she's been writing her lyrics with at least two other songwriters. Babyface and Walter would be great for the ballads and Mike Will Made It and some other unknown producers for the uptempos. Happy Perez who produced #Beautiful would also be a good collaborator for MC.

Babyface (38,852) by Anonymous from
I hope Mariah works with Walter and Babyface on her new album. After reading that article about Ariana and listening to the song "Baby, I" that Babyface wrote and produced for her, I think Babyface has still got it. I love Melt Away and Never Forget You and I think Mariah should write with him again.

Daydream (38,837) by Anonymous from
Daydream was the blueprint that Butterfly improved on. Like The Emancipation Of Mimi was the blueprint that E=MC2 was based on/followed.

Grande (38,836) by Anonymous from
She can sing, but she's not the new/next Mariah. She wants to be. She's even covering Mariah's songs. I watched her cover of Emotions and the main difference was Mariah sang with a conviction that she doesn't have. She hasn't found her voice, she's imitating Mariah's. Mariah doesn't need to watch her throne.

Toni (38,812) by Anonymous from
I would love for Mariah to work with Toni. Especially since Babyface is most likely writing and producing the songs.

Radio programmers don't want to see MC score another #1, they were livid when she tied/broke The King's record and they sure as h*ll don't want her surpassing the Beatles. #Beautiful was a great song/single, but she's going to need an undeniable smash that they have to play. That's probably why she postponed the album. She still has the talent, voice, and looks to do so.

#Beautiful (38,740) by Anonymous from
Billboard R&B Songs: #2 (last week #2). #Beautiful is a hit. Mariah is an R&B singer. It's hardly a flop.

Mariah's voice (38,738) by Anonymous from
After hearing her performance of Looking In at the MLB charity event, I believe she still has it. I think she decides to not use it because when she does, she gets labeled a showoff and when she doesn't, critics say it's because she can't. She can't win either way. Imagine what the MLB performance would have been like if she didn't have a cracked rib.

Bye, bye IDJ, hello again Sony (38,732) by Anonymous from
I think Sony would treat her like IDJ treats RhiRhi. It would be a smart decision on her part. And Tommy is no longer in control.

She wrote those lyrics (38,693) by Anonymous from
She didn't forget them, she broke down and picked up where the song was at which was past those lyrics. Who cares, it was amazing and proved she still has her voice. And she did so with a cracked rib.

Looking In (38,665) by Anonymous from
Stunning. She gave an honest, raw, and emotional performance of one of her more personal songs.

I agree. Mariah Carey's videos were events, now her videos, especially those directed by Nick, look cheap. She needs a director like Paul Hunter.

For Obsessed a body double would have been used since she plays the stalker and the victim.

Happy Fourth Of July, indeed (38,580) by Anonymous from
Her performance of Hero was spectacular. She sang it live and proved she's still got it. She's still The Voice.

What is a failure? (38,568) by Anonymous from
E=MC2 and Memoirs are hardly flops. Platinum and Gold sales with Platinum lead singles. Sure, those number are dismal when compared to her earlier success and sells figures. Those numbers while not amazing are great for this day and age, a time in which the biggest selling album of the year sells 2 million. Mariah's career is hardly over. #Beautiful has sold almost 800,000 copies and was certified Gold. I hope that she makes an amazing album. Postponing this album was probably a wise decision/smart move. I think she's going to deliver one of her best. Her talent is being questioned and the last time that happened she unleashed The Emancipation Of Mimi.

Fourth Of July from Macy's (38,564) by Anonymous from
I just watched a few snippets fans made of Mariah singing and it was live. She sounded amazing. Her American Idol performance was live, it was just badly edited. She sang live on GMA and Summer Jam. The BET performance, if she did in fact not sing a note live, who cares? That remix would be harder than hell to sing. She still has her voice and I highly doubt she needs to hire a vocal coach. She was trained by her mother. If she's having vocal issues she should turn to her mom. Or her team of doctors.
