MJ and JT (43,239) by Blake from USA
I doubt MJ's new single will cause problems for Mimi. First of the song is great but it is from 1983 and in my opinion JT ruined the song. A lot of people are negative about the song because MJ never wanted it released. You can't put JT with MJ it just doesn't work. Regardless I know it's making a big impact but Mariah hasn't had this much buzz since Memoirs so I think she is safe. Help share the pre-order. Help the buzz.

Why does every artist but Mariah get one of these? Beyonce had one. Come IDJ and iTunes partnership. Work it out.

Everyone needs to preorder the album. Let's get it to #1 on iTunes 4 weeks before it drops. Now that's a lambily. I am a lamb.

Album kick off (43,075) by Blake from USA
I keep having this vision that "Thirsty" is going to be the song fans have been waiting for... for years. A video with no boobs hanging out, no laying down and perhaps a storyline with a new style/look for our queen. "Don't count me out", "you can never write off talent".

Re: Dan (43,074) by Blake from USA
I agree with you on the cover of YME was not the best. I almost feel they did that to call it a "Valentine single" should it flop as it did. The song grew on me but it still lacks in so many ways and this is just my opinion. It had no verse chorus verse chorus bridge structure. I also felt the vocal was weak and how many WBT sequels (Bye Bye, I stay In Love) do we have? Maybe from all the wine drinking her vocal has gotten weak. As much as I love her belting, I can do without the whistle at times. I think we may be getting vocals from 2010-2012 for the majority of this new album. I actually hope that is true because we all know she was writing/recording during her pregnancy and her vocals were pretty amazing during that time: MC2Y.

I hope your post wasn't referring to mine. I showed no hate for anyone, even Ariana. I was stating that she is exploding with #1 on iTunes. Good for her I say. I like her and think she is slowly coming into her own. I do think she is often imitating MC but time is her friend to find her own artistry. I did show concern for Mariah on radio with this new album should it ever be released only because if an artist sounds similar to her (vocally), it could be harder to be played. I was simply asking will this be more trouble with this era's success? Mariah sure don't need anymore problems. Love the Lambily forever.

Is exploding onto the charts (#1 on iTunes). More problems for Mariah to be heard on the radio?

Lamb O Chop, Mariah's Facebook wall today (42,092) by Blake from USA
LambO: Thank you for saying that. I actually stopped posting and reading because of the nonsense on this board. However I just noticed Mariah posted the "I don't understand (your hair)" in Spanish from Honey. But she cut off the "hair" part. I am wondering if this is a statement that she doesn't understand why her lambily isn't supporting YME. She also posted to buy the single. I find this interesting, maybe she is finally seeing there is a problem. I am glad it's growing at radio.

Week 3 for YME, don't forget to request (41,992) by Blake from USA
It appears it is growing at radio. It was added to 40 new stations this week but with no download sales it's probably not enough to rechart. Time is our friend. I just hope Mariah's album A) doesn't get pushed back any effing longer and B) it's a dynamite album regardless of hit singles to please her worse critics: lambs.

Thank you. You always nail it on the head. Train wreck all over again for Mariah's career. She has lost touch with reality. I loved her saying in the Power interview that the ballads are coming and uptempo records but she also acted very egotistical with the "I never had a real job so I don't know what a bonus is", "cheers dahling". I have said this countless times but lambs on here don't agree; MC lives in her own bubble and does not see how bad her image is to the buying public. She comes off very arrogant and woe is me. She throws her husband under the bus a lot and let's face it YME was not the smash we all wanted. I think it's interesting how everyone on here has a list for MC to get back on track but admitting there's a problem is the first step for Mrs. Cheer (cling cling) and she is clueless at this point. Cue the thumbs down and go. Truth hurts.

This is slow start and clearly not enough to generate sales on iTunes but it's a start. Are you requesting lambs? I am hoping the single doesn't fall off the Hot 100 chart this week.

BET Honors (41,716) by Blake from USA
I am sorry but her performance was mostly lipped and let's face it, her laying on the piano in that dress that appears to be 4 sizes too small for her was awkward by itself. [censored] With the single out of the top 1000 on iTunes, how can she pull off a hit? I'm worried about MC and if this album will ever be released. When she needed more time to add 3 new songs, I was praying for a last minute L.A. Reid moment that happened with TEOM but her behavior tells another story besides he isn't behind this release, he's at a different label. As a huge lamb, I just wished Mariah would stand there and look classy (cleavage control) and sing "live", work the camera and come off humble. I miss those days. I am requesting the song everyday at radio but image can destroy an artist. I know this post will get thumbs down galore but I felt the need to express my concern for the legendary MC.

Artistry not completed (41,632) by Blake from USA
We all know when an artist peaks its a sad day, but MC has not peaked despite all the negativity on this board. If anyone in this biz can come back it's MC. In the words of L.A. Reid "Mariah simply has more talent than anyone else in this business." I agree and I am not counting her out yet. Yes she is not 25, easy to deal with but in the end her music completes me. Her artistry is not done for the books to be written. I don't care about the myths of radio and beating The Beatles. Mariah can deliver a solid album and it's coming May 6. The label and her know how this album needs to be released if for nothing else, the lambily.

Revised - finally posted (41,511) by Blake from USA
Mariah Carey's "You're Mine (Eternal)", the first single from her new album due May 6, enters the Hot 100 at No. 88. Opening sales of 32,000 account for 62% of its chart points. The ballad is Carey's 46th Hot 100 hit, as well as her first non-collaboration/non-cover/non-holiday entry since "Obsessed" became her 27th and most recent top 10 (reaching No. 7) in 2009.

Paul and Billboard Chart (Bubbling Under and Hot 100) (41,510) by Blake from USA
Billboard doesn't update the weekly chart until Thursday but they already announced the top 10 for tomorrow's chart. It looks as if Mariah missed the Hot 100 debut and possibly the Bubbling Under the Hot 100 chart, based on her downloads. If she would have debuted, they would have mentioned how many times an entry of hers has appeared even in the top 100. I hope this helps answer your question. Hopefully her promotion kicks in with doing the TV talk shows with live performances. Here's hoping.

Randy and last album with contract (41,453) by Blake from USA
Actually Madonna did have a top 10 hit with "Give Me all your lovin" from that album, but as far as her album sales, yea it barley went gold. Her tour however rocked out of all female tours ever. So that is almost better than hits. The artist usually only makes their bucks from touring. Like everyone else, I just hope this new album doesn't get shelved regardless of a current hit song. There was something online I read that said if this is Mariah's album with IDJ, lets hope this album gets released because she hasn't accumilated enough hits for a second greatest hits collection. Is this true? It can't be.

Lamb O Chop (41,428) by Blake from USA
I literally lol at your post because of the whackjob and the baby please. Yes I agree JLo can't chart even with 30 million fans on Facebook, but the public likes her, despite her boy toys. My mom refers to MC as a whackjob and I think she does it out of love, but I kinda agree with her, but she knows at the end of the day MC ruls. "Please baby baby please" is stuck in my head from Tone Loc's wild thing. Thanks a lot lamb. Lol.

Single and her reputation (41,423) by Blake from USA
I am giving Mariah's team the benefit of the doubt, but I do think if it takes off at radio, she has a promising single. Her reputation on the other hand I do not agree with. I have watched the interviews and barely could because of the ego, diva hair whipped back and can't hold a normal conversation over her bubble that she lives in. But that being said, I will never stop supporting her career. I just wanted to mention that JLo definitely used Idol to her advantage. She has the talent of a monkey swinging on a rope in the jungle but she does have 30 million followers. My point is, she doesn't come off as a nutcase whackjob. She is humble. Reading Mariah talk about how she just prayed she would get through her performance laying on the piano at the BET Honors with that betty boo dress. Think about that people. Why wear it in the first place? Take the performance serious. And thumbs down, go, go, go, thank you.

Confused? (41,387) by Blake from USA
I read the press release for "You're Mine" and don't forget the eternal like the BET host or Mariah will point that fault out too. This release was from IDJ and it stated that the single was released to radio formats across the country the same day as the single was on iTunes, video premiere on MTV. So I am confused to why you are all saying the single isn't released to radio yet? Personally the public is so turned off from Mariah's antics as a diva, whackjob moments; the Facebook makes and child like images of her living in her bubble are enough to frighten any new potential fan but she also seems to have lost touch with reality. I think this is why it's falling on iTunes (#108 now). I know this post will get thumbs down galore but as much as I love the new single, Mariah comes off crazy to the public and even radio. I miss the humble MC.

Bubble for some splash? (41,260) by Blake from USA
Honestly Mariah lives in her own bubble. She ignores all the bad press on her boob popping dresses, wears almost nothing to interviews and so on. I love her and always will, but she has seriously damaged her career. It starts from her diva antics that get worse by the day. She definitely has a drinking problem and watching her interviewed is like watching paint dry. If you watch the MTV segment and see the fans behind her accepting her behavior, it's still sad to see their faces as she goes on and on over nothing to do with the music questions. The bad lighting, how the radio isn't playing the full ending that she purposely made short and sweet etc. I bought both versions and hope it charts but I kind of have to leave it there. Mariah has damaged her reputation so much in the last decade, her days of topping the charts could be done in my opinion. No disrespect; lambily for life.
