Fall In Love At Christmas (98,835) by cBerr from Canada I haven't been around here for a while due to my disappointment with what I feel were big omissions to the MC30 releases, but this new holiday track actually has me excited for studio album #16. Her voice is the healthiest it's been in a while and she was right in her recent social media posts - you need to hear the "outro"! This 3-track EP is a nice treat. (Friday 5 November 2021; 00:38)

Mariah and her team should be embarrassed by the quality of those Your Girl "remixes" (if you could even call them that). It seems as though they ripped them right from a low quality mixtape and uploaded to iTunes. Again, embarrassed. I also listened to the BOTH mixes released last week though my headphones and the Junior Vasquez mixes are poor quality masters just like on the one CDR that was released. I had that promo CDR and I was really hoping these official releases would have corrected those issues. What a let-down now for two weeks in a row. (Friday 29 January 2021; 22:44)

Emancipation EP's for #MC30 (97,234) by cBerr from Canada While this can't be 100% confirmed as I don't think they have been officially released yet anywhere (even in Australia as per time zones), but the "reported" EPs for the Emancipation era are bleak. The biggest and most glaring omission is the lack of anything for "Fly Like A Bird" - I can't even know where to start with this disappointment! Tracy Young, Maurice Joshua, David Harness. Could have been an epic remix package as Tracy and Maurice are known for multiple club cuts, edits and/or dubs. Secondly, the omission of the Moran & Rigg mixes {Radio, Club & Mixshow) to "We Belong Together" is just as disappointing. I had heard lossy MP3 versions and was very impressed. No SugarDip remixes to "Say Something". SMH I guess we're supposed to be happy it's made up for with two rapper features on "Your Girl". For which she uses the FLAB cover photo. Way to troll us. If there was ever a doubt, I guess we know now that the #JusticeForGlitter moment wasn't really "for the Lambily", but advantageous for her at that time. It would have been amazing to have those Mike Rizzo & Al B. Rich mixes to Never Too Far/Hero Medley. Also disappointed that none of the Charmbracelet EPs are on iTunes as Apple Digital Masters. I don't know if it actually does make a difference, but it would have been nice to know her team spent the extra time remastering the files. Oh well. (Friday 22 January 2021; 16:51)

Re: #MC30 releases are back (97,171) (97,175) by cBerr from Canada I agree. A release of a concert from the Charmbracelet Tour would be a very welcome surprise. Her vocals during that era were excellent. Also, slightly disappointed at a few omissions on the EPs. 1. The Agent X mixes to Boy (I Need You). While the song is by no means a favourite of mine, those mixes were a fresh change of pace to what we had been accustomed to from MC. 2. The Joey Negro & Joe Bermudez remixes to The One. I mean to give us the Widelife and Morel mixes (all of which were scrapped when the release was scrapped in favour of BINY) and not include the remainder of the commissioned mixes is head-scratching. 3. The RJ Janman mix to Heartbreak. To put the live version on the EP instead of that additional mix is just baffling. Sometimes all I can do is shake my head. And I forgot to mention the Global Soul Acapella & Deep Influence mixes for Heartbreak. All were included one one or more of the CD-R promo releases. The RJ-Janman Mix even had an 'Official' promo CD release. Her team is asleep at the wheel. (Thursday 21 January 2021; 23:22)

Mariah's DefJam / Universal catalog (96,704) by cBerr from Canada I was under the impression that as per the contract(s) she signed with DefJam (and parent Universal) that she retained ownership of her masters - obviously something she did not have with Sony until she re-signed. Is this not the case? If she does in fact own those masters, why have the #MC30 EPs seemingly concluded with the Rainbow singles? I was really hoping for more full EPs for my collection and unreleased gems like the remixes to Fly Like A Bird, the Moran and Rigg mixes to We Belong Together and the rumoured dance mixes to Up Out My Face and H.A.T.E.U. She said on GMA, and I quote: "Basically I found stuff in my vault, that I had either started to work on a long time ago and never released, or that I wanted to finish mixing or whatever but, they are songs that have not been previously released." Again, "not been previously released". That is all I have to say. BTW, since it's still technically part of the same point - does anyone think the Underneath The Stars video will ever see the light of day or were we just being trolled? The Rarities (JPN edition) (95,093) by cBerr from Canada According to Amazon.jp, the Japanese edition will come with a BluRay disc of the Tokyo Dome show. Does anyone know where one can be ordered aside from auction sites like eBay? Or does anyone know how to adjust the language setting on Amazon's Japan site so I can understand what I am ordering? We have had multiple users on this message board talk openly about depression during these times of lockdowns and quarantining - so to use the term so nonchalantly is just dangerous and wrong. Track one could presumably any one of a number of songs from the demo - but "Here We Go Round Again" is definitely the most notorious. Others include: - Unspoken Emotion - Surrender To Me - Now You Got My Heart - No Doubt - Let Me Go - Into The Light - Echoes Of Love - Don't Take The World Away - Do You Ever Wonder? Track 8 - Lesley Gore was a popular singer/songwriter. Michael Gore was her brother and a songwriter. Some songs they co-wrote together include: - Maybe Now - I Won't Love You Anymore (Sorry) - Hold Me Tight - Out Here On My Own - Where Can I Go? If anyone does and can verify they are one-in-the-same, I will stand corrected. Disappointed (94,747) by cBerr from Canada I can't help but feel a little disappointed that she appears to be moving onto the Emotions era (as per most recent tweet). She really didn't release much from the debut era that wasn't already commercially available (except for 3 mixes of Someday). I know I may be in the minority, but I had most of the mixes from various CD and 12" Maxi-Singles. And to top it off; she teased us with that alternate version of "All In Your Mind" and then... nothing. We're all left standing here like, "Huh, that's it? Just 30 seconds?" Merry Christmas - All Joy To The World mixes, extended or alternate cuts (we all know about those vocal outtakes that leaked). Plus her version of "Where Are You Christmas?" 2. Daydream - The "Crave" song. She's had albums with the Parental Advisory label, so she can drop the act. Also, a BluRay of the undubbed Rotterdam concert. I've seen bootleg footage, there were cameramen all over that stage recording. In a pinch, I'll accept the dubbed Tokyo concert on BluRay. Lol. 3. Butterfly - Full remix bundles for Honey and The Roof (including vinyl only cuts). 4. Glitter - Remixes for "Never Too Far/Hero" plus unused tracks if any - including "Loverboy" (original Firecracker version). 5. Rainbow - All remixes for CTTA (including the Morales Harmonica Dub if it exists), Petals (Pound Boys) and Against All Odds (Pound Boys). 6. Charmbracelet - All remixes for Through The Rain, Bringin' on the Heartbreak and The One (and Boy if she has the time). 7. TEOM - Unreleased tracks plus those remixes for "Fly Like A Bird" especially that R&B remix she teased with Melonie Daniels. 8. MIAM - The dance remixes to #Beautiful. Based on her post of the "All In Your Mind" alternate snippet, she may have one more debut era surprise up her sleeve - fingers crossed. My hope is that we will get the following Emotions-era releases: remix bundles for "Emotions" and "Make It Happen" and something with rarities based on that mastering sleeve showing that unreleased track "Can You Hear Me". Simply for that reason - money. It wouldn't make economical sense. It's much more cost effective to release things digitally these days. Which is in and of itself, a downfall due to the quality. While they can call it a "Apple Digital Master" it is in no way on par with any HQ or Lossless format. (Sunday 26 July 2020; 00:37)

And, with the remix bundles released earlier today, I can only hope that a future #MC30 release includes the entire remix package for "Anytime You Need a Friend". From what I remember reading somewhere, it was a song written (and registered through BMI) with Barry Mann. Most likely for Emotions. All I have to say is that she better do more than just post these items on social media. There needs to be physical (or at the very least digital) releases that can be purchased. I also don't want to be shortchanged by her lumping in Daydream25 celebrations in with #MC30. We need a remastered Daydream LP with bonus tracks/remixes and a BluRay release of the concert. She released AIWFCIY from Tokyo in 1080/HQ so I know it's possible. (Wednesday 15 July 2020; 02:36)
