Grammy award-winning singer Mariah Carey has confirmed that she is currently working on a music video for her single, Sugar Sweet, which features Kehlani and Jamaican dancehall artiste Shenseea.
In a recent appearance on the podcast Baby, This is Keke Palmer, Carey opened up about the collaboration and the effort being made to come together for the visual.
"It was good, I mean we're still trying to get all together in one place at the right time. We're all trying to come together and make it work but we got them on the records," Carey told host Keke Palmer. "We're making a little video," Carey added.
There was some controversy around Carey's newly released album Here For It All following speculations that Carey had quietly removed Shenseea and Kehlani from the Sugar Sweet track, with some fans questioning the motive behind the change.
It has since been confirmed that the artistes were not removed from the album, as the collaboration remains available on the digital versions of Here For It All. She, however, released the solo version of Sugar Sweet on her physical album.
