Re: Video for "Cry" (74,939) (74,948) by Lexingz from Estonia
Thank you. This is super glamorous, yet beautiful. She looks so good in this. Why not make something simple like this for her next video? I am so tired of all the bells and whistles and complicated fashion. All I want is Mariah in good make up and hair and a simple dress.

Article: Mariah Carey barred from speaking to Bryan Tanaka (74,947) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
Another day, another phone confiscation story. Unrelated but can we take a moment and appreciate this fashion moment?

Re: Lame (74,940) (74,946) by Hilton from USA
Exactly. Everything this woman does, it gets posted on here and picked apart by someone. Not all, but lots. It's pathetic and sick. I hope all the judgemental folks on here have their lives together and I also hope that they make every correct life and career choice based on other people's standards and opinions. Everyday. Smh.

Re: Video for "Cry" (74,939) (74,945) by Licia from USA
That's the video that should have been for You're Mine. They are just dancing in a circle and it was still better than the original and remix video of You're Mine. Lol.

Re: Bruno gets his 7th number one (74,937) (74,944) by Licia from USA
I believe that he could pick any those tracks as singles. It's a solid album. There's not one bad song in my opinion. I was never a huge Bruno fan, but this album pulled me in.

Thanks for the pics. It looks like a shadow of the strap or I could just be blind. It's probably the second one. Lol. She looks great though.

Re: Dinner / LV cake (74,938) (74,942) by RibbonB from USA
I see what may be a tat in one of these ETonline pics. And according to this article, it looks like Nick is being more present for Mariah for his kids as well as for their rebuilding friendship. Other than Floyd, I didn't see any other stars at the launch party. Stellar likes a pap moment, but she seems to keep their events limited to people in her reality show circle which is a rather limited circle.

Damn, Anthony is strong. That is a nice video.

Lame (74,940) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City)
The Mariah that is upon us is the one who is enjoying herself with any apologies and yes some recent actions have me wondering why but who am I to keep passing judgement on another living being who has a right to live her life as she chooses as long as she is not harming herself or those around her in way, shape, or form. Is the LV cake a bit much? Yes but maybe it was requested by the guest of honor. What I find to be lame is me finding a reason to nitpick about everything that this woman does just because I do not like it. I say self everything Mariah is not for your approval. Just thought I share how I checked myself about Mariah doing something I don't like.

Video for "Cry" (74,939) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
So during the Elusive Chanteuse tour, while Mariah sang "Cry", the monitors on the back played a beautiful video of her dancing with Anthony Burrell, the visuals were stunning, so this fan made this video dubbing the live version video with the CD version of the song. The visuals playing in the monitor are stunning. And while Mariah dances, she looks beautiful and graceful and not stiff. If you check out the video of Mariah performing "You're Mine" at the BET awards, you can see a longer version of these visuals with Anthony along with visuals of her wearing a black dress on the screen behind her. So gorgeous and so ethereal.

I'm just surprised that Nick is now taking part it in, he always seems like he's above this kinda crazy. Just how much do TMZ pay for these stories?

Calling All My Lovelies, while ridiculously shallow and tactless, even, is gorgeous. My fave off the album. That Halle Berry cameo just sends it over the top. I would love it to be released as a single, although it would be a risk as I feel the production is way too smart for radio (though I'd like them to try regardless). Honestly though, I'd much sooner see them release Finesse, which sounds like something Bobby Brown would have done in his prime, and would fit much easier in the current sonic landscape we have.

Re: Albums (74,932) (74,936) by this_is_qhm from the Philippines
I feel the same way about the Emotions and Music Box albums. Emotions fell short of the greatness it was supposed to achieve on paper because although some of its songs rank along Mariah's best (CLG, The Wind, MIH), the rest weigh it down, making it sound even more dated than Mariah's debut. My issue with Music Box is that of all her albums, it's her most Celine-esque (read: MOR, safe, consciously calculated to reach the widest audience possible). I don't begrudge that, as it did work really well for her, but you just can't put Music Box up there with Daydream, Butterfly, TEOM, or even Mariah's debut album, despite having one epic cover and great songs such as Dreamlover, NFY, AYNAF.

Top 5 Mariah Carey albums (74,933) by Terna from Nigeria
Speaking of albums, I gravitate towards some of her work much more than others, and very rarely play the rest. And I can honestly say this is my top 5 favorite Mariah albums of all time. In this order:
1. Butterfly (this one made me a lamb)
2. The Emancipation of Mimi
3. Mariah Carey
4. Daydream
5. Me. I am Mariah... The Elusive Chanteuse
To me this [sic] records are a true reflection of Mariah.

Re: Albums (74,918) (74,932) by Terna from Nigeria
"I've also finally listened to TEOM in its proper sequence, and surprisingly I also didn't really like it." Gasp. (Aims cannon of bricks permanently shooting at you.) Lol. Funny enough I find Emotions very bland and boring and way too dark and that mirror flipped album cover doesn't help matters, but I nitpick a few songs I love like "Make it Happen", "Can't Let Go" and "To be around you" and "The Wind". I also so same with Music Box.

Re: Bruno gets his 7th number one (74,926) (74,931) by Licia from USA
Bruno definitely deserves this number one. That's What I Like was the first song from his album I listened to three times before I moved on to the next track. Lol I would love for Versace On The Floor or Calling All Lovelies to be released as singles.

Ankle tattoo? (74,928) by Will from England
Looking at the pictures from her label launch (she looks great), I noticed that she has something on her right ankle? Is that another tattoo? It's visible in some photos, others not so much. Looks like a phrase or something along those lines.

Magazine article (74,927) by Marissa from USA
Stumbled across one of my favorite magazine articles on Mariah. She is 10 times more candid in print than on camera. I get all types of juicy information that she normally wouldn't even utter. Do you all have a favorite magazine interview on Mariah?

Re: Bruno gets his 7th number one (74,916) (74,926) by this_is_qhm from the Philippines
That's What I Like deserves to be #1, especially if placed side by side with that Ed Sheeran track. In fact, it's the only song in the top 10 right now that is listenable for me. Although at first I was kinda iffy when they released it. I thought they would capitalize on the momentum that Versace On The Floor generated as a promotional single. I hope that song gets released next. It would be a waste not to. If any male artist in mainstream pop right now deserves to challenge Michael Jackson's record of #1s, it's Bruno. And it looks like he's well on his way. Congrats.

Re: Albums (74,922) (74,925) by Licia from USA
You all know I'm tickled pink with the CB love. Lol I hardly ever see or hear fans say they don't absolutely love Music Box. I'm shocked you darn goats. Lol. Like Lila the only three songs I listen to are AYNAF, Dreamweaver, and Never Forget You. I occasionally listen to Without You. It's not a bad album. It just was boring to me. Like how some of you are bored with the rap collaborations. That's how I was when Music Box came out . I felt myself moving away from Mariah during that era then Daydream pulled me back in. I agree Emotions is very underrated. It's third on my list of most loved MC albums. With the exception of one song I can listen to Emotions all the way through. The song I don't care for just so happens to be at the very end. Lol. With TEOM there's only one song I don't listen to and I never listen to the album in order. I would have liked To the Floor to be thrown in the garbage because that song is garbage. Other than that misstep TEOM is cool by me.

Dinner / LV cake (74,924) by SM from Citizen of the World
What's up with going out to dinner every night and being photographed? I don't think anyone in America cares that Mariah is out to dinner and TMZ is their [sic] to take pics lol. And on another note that Louis Vuitton cake for Stella's daughter is ridiculous, it's like hey we have money lets flaunt it. Mariah's life is getting lame. What do others think about this?
