Three parts? (39,569) by Will from England
There are three parts to that song? I was only aware of the two.

One And Only (39,568) by SiahhBailon from USA
I like all three, the original and part II and part III. But I love the original way more, only because I can relate to it on so many levels.

So Lonely (39,567) by Will from Australia
I much prefer part II of One And Only. I never liked the original and always skipped it, but the second version I used to play on repeat.

Enwar / Black Girls Rock (39,566) by Licia from USA
I like One And Only better. I do enjoy the little part Mariah added to So Lonely (One & Only part II) at the beginning though. I've been waiting for Mariah to be involved with this show. I'm pretty sure she's going be presenting to Miss Patti since they are so close.

TAOLG (39,565) by Stephen from London, United Kingdom
The teaser looks very promising. Mariah did very well in the promo. I like that she's using social media to promote herself. It's the way forward. The music in the promo sounds similar to MCIIY, which is a good thing, especially given the timing of the release. Without hearing the track, it's hard to say. All I know is with Rodney, MC, and JD in the studio, it's bound to be a banger. Rodney is a great producer.

Does anyone else like So Lonely (One & Only part II) better than the original One And Only?

TAOLG / lip synching (39,562) by Stacey from USA
A string orchestra with a jazzy feel, well at least a few notes I heard gave me that impression. I'm intrigued. As far as lipping, I'll leave it at this: I'd rather her lip and not strain her voice too. My saying she lips has never ever been a criticism. Oh, and even with a few notes at the end of FLAB lipped, that Grammy performance was amazing. She shut up her critics who had counted her out. That's something we can all agree on.

Say what? (39,561) by nikki from usa
Drunk? Like listening to a 2 minute snippet of an interview and acting like that's the whole thing? If you listened to all of them, you'd know Mariah answered the question. It's about letting go of people and situations that are bad for you. She didn't want to get too specific because she wants people to be able to interpret it in their own lives. She hasn't fully mastered the "art" yet and is still learning, because there are things she'd like to let go and still struggles with. Clearly, this is personal, symbolic, and abstract as a concept which would make it different for anyone. Were you expecting a step-by-step guide? I don't know how she could've explained it better, but then again you'd have to listen to just more than one of the clips.

The live chat on 11/11 (39,560) by T from USA
This album is going to be her best yet. She took her time. If everybody updates their status on 11/11 I think she could have a real chance with this song. Hopefully on the live question and answer Facebook chat someone brings up that new Walter Afanasieff interview with him saying he'd love to work with her again. I would love to hear her answer to that.

Teaser (39,559) by Musti from UK
Wow that teaser is epic! It sounds quite operatic, which is something I have always wanted Mariah to do. Angel Prelude and even the very beginning to of Migrate give us a little bit of her operatic roots, but obviously neither of them are orchestral pieces. I have a feeling that what we hear in the teaser will be an interlude/intro to the song itself. Nevertheless I'm loving it. The sound really suits her. If this teaser is any indication as to what the album will be like, it might just be her best album since Butterfly. I cannot wait!

Drunk during interviews? Please (39,558) by Will from England
I guess there really is no pleasing people. Even when she's doing promo interviews, there is always someone who finds something to complain about. She has been vague about the song very specifically, so that we can make our own judgement of the song, without relying on what she has said about the song in the past and what the song means to her. And to be very fair to her, I wouldn't know where to begin when describing the song title, since it is a very obscure title which could really mean anything to anyone.

The Art Of Letting Go (39,557) by MissunderstoodAngel from United states
Have you lambs heard Mariah's description of The Art Of Letting Go? I honestly don't feel like she's taking this seriously. I couldn't help but feel she was drunk during the interviews. She couldn't even explain the song's title. "The art of letting go, I was thinking to myself, you know there is kinda an art to letting go." Really Mimi? It's not fair to us.

Art Of Letting Go promo (39,556) by 123 from USA
I am loving all this promo JD has MC doing. He has always used social media to promote his own projects and I'm loving that he is doing the same for M. She has done a lot of press in one day. That TAOLG teaser is great. If the strings played in the background are any indication of how the song sounds like, I'm so on board. I had a feeling she was going to create an album of throwback music. Seems like Mariah is playing no games this time, come on 11/11/13!

All I have to say is bring it (the entire song that is). I am so ready.

The Art Of Teasing (39,554) by Ryan from the Philippines
Dayum, that intro was a total bomb. I'm just more excited to hear the whole thing. The violins, that's what I am talking about in my past message here. That's what I wanted to hear in her music and not the sick synthesizers. I can't truly wait for 11.11.13.

Letting Go snippet? (39,553) by Will from England
If you haven't seen Mariah's latest video update for the single, if that string orchestral arrangement really is the song, then I'm really excited. This is already sounding so different to what she has done in the past. So close.

Mariah's voice (39,551) by Trish from USA
I saw Mariah live at Cesar's Palace in 2003 from the front row. I was actually kind of nervous beforehand because talk of voice decline was around (sigh) 10 years ago, but ever since then I just roll my eyes when I hear it. That night I heard the best singer ever sing, and I know she was singing because I could hear her before the microphone and saw her spit sometimes. The live versions of Can't Take That Away, and My Saving Grace stuck out to me that night because they were so much better than the album versions. The conversations about lipping are tired. She's truly the greatest, and we are so blessed that a talent of her caliber (has there ever been a better singer let alone song writer?) is so good to her fans, and has her incredible work ethic. I'm so excited for 11/11. Perhaps you're just looking for something to talk about while we wait? But did she lip in 2005? Who cares?

WBT BET compared to Grammies (39,550) by RadChad from United States
Well I have to point out that extra theatrics (during that era) didn't necessarily mean she was lipping. Everyone talked about how bad the 05 BET Awards performance of WBT was and she was running around stage and everything (and there's no question that was fully live). I've noticed during that era in general (especially the beginning) Mimi was feeling a little more confidant in her voice and on stage with the GMA, VH1 Save the Music concerts etc. So throwing a full spin in FLAB just didn't really strike me as an "aha" moment. From my observation she started becoming more self conscience and stiff on stage during the E=MC2 era. Now don't get me wrong, I know there were many times she relied on the backing track for that last note of WBT amongst many other performances, but I'm just saying I heard all the raw imperfections in that Grammy performance even the "woo Jesus" sound unidentical IMO. But to each its own who really knows anyway.

Grammy / vocal peak (39,549) by Will from Australia
I think it's not just the Grammies but on most live versions of WBT Mariah uses the lip sync for the key change chorus and I completely agree with that body launguage statement used to disguise the lip sync. But so what? I'd rather she did that than try and strain her vocal and have another MJ memorial episode. When I think about vocal peak I focus mainly on her live performances as anyone can sound fantastic on a record. The Daydream tour I struggle to identify a single questionable lip sync performance, seems all live and her tone and fluidity is off the charts. Later tours and live performances is when I started to noticing these moments of sync. I have to say though that I was blown away at the quality of her voice in Sydney this year, especially the "Loves takes time" cameo she did, wow I thought, she's still got it!

Joe (39,548) by Stacey from USA
The 2006 Grammy performance was awesome. The WBT part, first, second verse and choruses of FLAB were 100% live. My only objection to the medley being all live was the end of FLAB where as Joyce put it, she did more theatrics, turning around, etc. But, it's ok if some disagree with me. I don't take someone disagreeing with me so personal. Know what I mean? I too am excited to hear a new MC song.

Eric (39,546) by Will from England
Depends lol. If Mariah wanted to break that jacket, she would have taken a deep breath, zipped it further up, and breathed out. Seams would have been ripped lol. As for it being zipped further down, would you like to take bets on whether or not that the zip was indeed lower before they hit record?

Zipper (39,545) by Webmaster Eric from the Netherlands
Is it a good or a bad thing the zipper couldn't go further down?

Press round (39,544) by Will from England
Well, Mariah's certainly doing the press round this time. How many interviews in a space of a few hours? 4? 5? One on a major (I assume it's major) news network no less. Ok, seems JD knows what he's doing! I also like how they addressed why exactly they decided to release the song through Facebook. From another stand point, it's also quite smart. For YouTube, there are sites that allow you to download the audio from a video, so by doing it through Facebook directly, that (I think) reduces the chances of it being ripped off and illegally downloaded. So I'm liking the way this is shaping up.

Just saying (39,543) by Joe from United Kingdom
I just wanted to say in one of my previous post I was actually in agreement with what Joyce said. I sometimes think things can come across differently from how they're meant to. I'll look back at something I posted and be like hold up, wait a minute that's not what I meant. Lol.
