Mariah releases new music video featuring tour footage

All Mariah Carey wants for Christmas is to share a new video with her fans. The self-proclaimed queen of Christmas, 54, announced on Friday that she is gifting her fans - dubbed "the lambs" - with a new music video featuring unseen footage from her "Merry Christmas One and All!" tour.

In the new video, which is titled "All I Want for Christmas Is You (Festive Lambs Edition)", Carey has downsized her role as she puts the focus on her fans. Her "lambs" could be seen both outside the concert venues and in the stands wearing festive sweaters and hats.

The music video also highlights those who helped put the tour together, including Carey's bandmates, backup singers, dancers and choreographers. Several scenes show them rehearsing routines and practicing their instruments backstage.

The "Oh Santa!" singer makes appearances throughout the video leading her dancers on stage during both rehearsals and the live performances, doing costume changes and shooting promotional videos for the tour. Carey also shows off different festive looks throughout the video including a nutcracker-inspired outfit made especially for the stage version of "All I Want for Christmas Is You".

The star's 12-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe - whom she shares with ex Nick Cannon - also make an appearance. Moroccan could be seen twirling a drumstick in one shot, while Monroe was captured dancing backstage with a red guitar in another.

Several celebrities also make cameos in the new music video, including Miley Cyrus - who was spotted in festive reindeer ears - and Nicole Richie who was wearing a Santa hat. Mario Lopez is also featured, flashing a peace sign to the camera.

Carey's sold-out "Merry Christmas One and All!" tour kicked off on November 15 and will wrap on December 17 at Madison Square Garden in New York City. On December 17, Carey is set to release a mini-documentary on her YouTube channel which will provide an "exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the meticulous preparations and magical moments that define the tour," per the release.

Carey - who has the bestselling Christmas song of all time in "All I Want for Christmas Is You" - has put herself at the forefront of the holiday season over the years with Christmas concerts and specials. The famous tune even reached No. 1 during its 25th anniversary year, while last year it earned the No. 1 spot on Billboard's Greatest of All Time Holiday 100 Songs list.
