The interview with Al Roker and Sharon Stone was fantastically adorable. I could watch a full hour of Sharon and Mariah bantering. Who knew they were neighbours? Lol I can also understand why she's a little bitter. They practically give away Grammys to sh*tty artists with subpar music now. She got passed over with a great body of work. I think she absolutely has the right to her opinion and statements in that videoclip. It was outrageous that she didn't win anything for "Daydream", let alone her masterpiece "Butterfly". I've always found it strange that her intro's always start with "5 time Grammy winner...". For her caliber of artist, and her longevity in the game, 5 is nothing to write home about, tbh. Sustained notes (80,292) by Lee from UK The thing about Mariah's sustained notes lately is that they do not sound pleasant. I have watched many a YouTube compilation of some her live sustained notes/belts/vocal showcases over recent years. It just seems to me that once she has finished sustaining a note, she struggles to come back down in a controlled and pleasing way like she used to do. There is no control there anymore, it sounds so strained, it looks like it hurts and once she gets her breath back, she looks thankful that those 6 seconds are over. Her sustained notes all feel a bit shouty and this never used to be the case. Most of the time, they seem to be used as distractions, smoke and mirrors in order to take our ears away from the rest of the song. (Sunday 7 January 2018; 13:44)

Backstage passes (80,289) by SM from Citizen of the World I was just curious if anyone here or knows anyone that got tickets to the show at Beacon or Vegas with the backstage pass to see Mariah? Where are they available for purchase? The ceremony is in June if she is inducted. Ironically Mariah brought on all the drama these past few years. The good stuff had been there and available for her to focus on, but she and her team created and participated in all of the distractions from 2015 until recently. (Saturday 6 January 2018; 22:24)

I love that M is truly getting this love from the industry and respect she so deserves and always wanted. I pray she looks classy and beautiful on the runway and keeps the Golden Globes restrained so to speak. I am loving what this Lorenzo is doing with her hair. She and Nick looked really cute, but she had that black gown with the super plunging neckline. Even with her looking at her best then, the neckline was a lot. Lol.
