Can she still sing? (76,487) by 123 from USA This was a little over a year ago where she looked and sounded like the legend that she is. She can still sing as long as she disciplines herself. Imagine this as a televised performance on a awards show. Why has this not happened and why didn't it happen back then when she was in good voice is so frustrating. (Wednesday 21 June 2017; 06:34)

She thanked him when she left because, technically, he was an important factor to her success. Plus, she still was signed with him. Can't rock the boat too much when the waters aren't calm. That's a big thing to come forward with, especially if its not documented. Why even say something now, he's remarried with kids. That would do a lot more harm than good at this point. Re: The old Mariah (76,420) (76,481) by 123 from USA The Hilton. You are spot on. AI was the turning point and the accident put the nail in the coffin to that era going downhill. It's sad because, for me, it was her best album since Daydream (my personal favorite, her magnum opus). I told a friend of mine that she had the same injury he did and he was like, do you know what type of meds you have to be on to deal with the pain and the side effects (weight gain, bloating, potential addiction), no wonder she disappeared and re-emerged for that Chanteuse tour like someone I had never seen before. She was carrying all her pain on the outside, and I was and still am worried about her. Yet the critiques about her weight and voice ended up being the focus. For someone as vain as Mariah to show up looking and sounding the way she did on that tour, you know she has got to be going through a lot. The best thing for any of us to do is pray for her. I do agree that the smartest thing to do is align yourself with successful, high quality brands and collaborate on your own line instead of trying to come out with your own beauty product in an already over saturated market. The funny thing is everyone is saying she needs to rest when she actually just needs to be disciplined again. Whenever she has a sequence of shows lined up she does well and improves throughout the dates, but historically, on her one off shows, she always sounds bad. I know many people didn't see the reality show but she had a glass of wine on every episode. And I saw a scene where she was holding a glass of wine right before a show on the SSFT, which was her best tour vocally since Charmbracelet. Which makes me upset because she could have sounded even better on that tour and continued to pull back on the pre-records. She needs to leave the drinking alone. It ruins the voice, it ages you, it makes you gain weight, etc. Don't get me wrong, I love a splash, but if it's getting in the way of your career, your health, your quality of life, a serious self evaluation and action plan must be done. It went Platinum which set a record among female artists and peaked at #7 on the Hot 100 which was her last top ten of her career. The Warning. I'll address that song like Mariah did, the difference is my song is charting and playing on the radio while you have to search the internet for his. Sad that again, she only performed it once even though it was doing well instead of pushing the song by performing it everywhere. I could have went #1. So let me spill some tea for the board since we are talking about squashing feuds. Word on the street was that Mariah and Eminem were going to end the feud and duet but Rihanna ended up on the song. I figured not many people know Bryson or the big R&B hit Don't and that it sampled the second verse of Shake It Off. I really liked "I Don't" and it was finally a good single release but she didn't promote it. It was a good move in regards to getting the label to stop ignoring her. For LA to say Mariah won't get anymore radio play but signing JLo and releasing flop single to flop single and they are the same age, what gives LA? She should have promoted it and tried to make it chart decently, even fronted her own money for a radio deal, it would have woken LA up. (Wednesday 21 June 2017; 02:02)

Did you see the Spanish version of their Macy's commercial where they are both great. I saw your post about Toni's Spanish Guitar. I love that song. The Heat was a great album. Still Breathing, Fairytales, The Heat - which for some reason I play that song in the dead of winter so I can float away to warmer days. I also love Stupid by Toni Braxton and the "it should be a crime unreleased gem" that is Clockwork. Glitter vs current era (76,464) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter Let me just put it in this way, the disaster of Glitter happened because Mariah was working tirelessly to defend her success and establish position as a legend-to-be, and now she is actively working to sabotage herself and the image she shed blood and tears and sweat to build up. What I mean by "defend" is a lot of people always belittled Mariah saying Tommy bought Mariah her success (which is bull shit, she earned it), so ever since separating from Tommy she went out of her way to do everything to prove that she is responsible for her success and her talent has gotten her where she is. This was especially important when she moved to a new label and started afresh, a new chapter. The pressure of having to prove that she doesn't need Tommy to stay successful combined with Tommy trying to sabotage her is what I believe led her to collapse. So she fell, defending her own honor. But what she is doing now is simply beyond anyone's comprehension. It's like she is pushing and pushing the limits to see how bad she can turn her image. She seems to be self sabotaging and self destructing. There is no logical explanation as to why Mariah is doing what she is doing now. (Tuesday 20 June 2017; 19:57)
