Just listened to those 2 lines. I actually think she sounded relatively alike, her voice in Honey did get more agile, a bit prettier, and more inaudible. Mariah's voice never really declined in her albums. Only on the live performances it did. Her voice has always changed, every album, there's always a subtle change. It's actually really bizarre. I mean if you want an example, compare the 1991 Grammy's VOL, to 1995 Madison Square Garden's VOL. Her voice progressively got more beautiful, it's almost as if there were 2 different singers. It's not even that she developed new vocals. It's just her voice really changes. And it always does, to this day. Give a real lamb an unreleased Mariah song and he would know exactly what album, era and year it's from, just basing it from her voice lol. You can't do this with Beyonce. A lot of singers literally sound the same from first to last album. For me, it's actually a gift to have such a voice that always changes. (A bit weird.) But always something new to look forward to. I think that's what makes Mariah's voice really special.

Can somebody explain this to me (68,752)

Stella comes off very abrasive and aggressive in most cases for no reason. She has not done MC or her image any favors. Honestly at this point where MC career stands she does not need any friends or fans as managers. She needs a team around her that is not up her ass but a team that can tell her the uncensored truth about herself and team that is willing to work to get her fans real results and not looking for social media respect. Mariah is of legendary status but her antics as of late do not reflect that. Honestly MC needs a manager that is going to challenge her for the better, and Stella does not fit that criteria thus far.

I absolutely love this. Everything was on point. I Know What You Want, Breakdown, Obsessed, It's Like That, Shake It Off, Loverboy (yassss lol), Heartbreaker remix, and regular Heartbreaker. Best ten minute video ever. She really did a good job and they mixed and mashed the songs correctly. I really didn't get the walking her up and down the stairs between some of the songs, but whatever I can look over that.

Many of us have been explaining it for months. Stella is a greedy, leech, fame whore, parasite who doesn't give a lick about anything but making money and making M. look bad in the process. Can someone explain her so called masterplan?

I really want this to happen. I'll take a duet or him writing a song for her. It just better not be another Memoirs rehash. The both of them are too great at writing to come up with a bullsh*t song.

I wouldn't call someone a lamb if they can't distinguish between "Fantasy" Mariah from "Dreamlover" Mariah. Secondly if being a lamb was the qualification required to be a manager, we'd all be much better options. Lastly, if by "all in" you mean using profanity to respond to rumors or even bother responding to tabloids (which other A-listers wouldn't even bother with), lashing out at fans on social media, reminding fans that her shoes are worth more than their salaries and putting up one "eff you haters/b**ch" posts after another like a teenager, then I can see why you think Stella is doing a stellar job. Also let's not forget that Stella has only lashed out or bothered to respond when her name was dragged through mud or her daughter was called out for messing Mariah's instagram. But kept mum when Mariah's name was dragged through mud and then went ahead and then added more fuel to the fire by leaking ridiculous stories and even more ridiculous photos/videos. So now can you explain to me why you are such a "Stel-lamb"? Or is it "Bulochnovician"? Because as far as I can see, we have only seen one unprofessional step after another.

She's a tacky, trashy, unprofessional, fame whore. She doesn't really care about Mariah's career, she she's more concerned with her and her kids becoming famous, by using Mariah to get into the spotlight.

Some fans can't see past their delusions. Stella is aggressive because she's a big a**hole. You wouldn't ever haer real and respectable managers like Benny Medina talk and behave like that. She's a lamb all right. She's managing Mariah Carey not Nick Minaj. I don't blame her for the trainwreck Mariah's been on lately because Mariah is in charge. But she's definitely annoying and aggressive.

If Stella's only qualification for manager is that she's a lamb, then Mariah is in big trouble.

Remember this? Page Six relays the aggressive response given to them by Mariah's manager Stella Bulochnikow in regards to the insider's disclosure, and her words clearly solidify the fact that she is quite aggressive and steadfast in her decisions. Additionally, she comes across just a touch unprofessional. "If you're trying to get into my good graces, you're doing a wonderful job. Feel free to write whatever the f--k you want, so all three of your readers can be amused. F--k off and lose my number. You are an idiot. Mariah is on fire."

I remember when I first heard Honey back in 97 I was so surprised. After hearing the whole album I thought how her voice changed. I had to play it 3 times and then I felt in love with this cd. After Daydream what really happened? Was is because of the stress in private and business? I wish Mariah would tell us but maybe it's too bad to be told.

What's your problem with Stella? I mean, we've never even heard her talk about Mariah, we don't even know what kind of person she is. We just assume this and that based on her looks. I mean, WTF?

You all think Mariah has been smoking the dope? For shame you gangsters for making this purebred holy woman partake in such activities. You know if she's in the studio with a gangster she just has to do what they do. Lol.

All I Want For Christmas Is You (68,737)

I've been pretty hard on Mariah lately so I decided to take a step back and try to balance that out by posting something that has been mentioned countless times but still not mentioned enough - AIWFCIY. This is her legacy. Only those quite knowledgeable in music will recognize her for pushing the Pop-R&B-Hip-hop fusion to its ubiquitous mainstream status today, but everyone, even those who don't celebrate Christmas knows that she has written the most recent tune worthy of being considered a holiday classic. The last one was Wham's Last Christmas, which is also brilliant. A lot of artists since then have managed futile attempts at creating that magical holiday song since then. Not Celine, Whitney, Janet, or even Madonna has that. I'd rather her have that than any of the awards she has been robbed of from that award show they call the Swifties/Yoncies.

"Timbre" haha. "Lexically" in love with you, right now. Something obviously just "snapped" in that period. The vocal deterioration in the past 15 years can't be borne of singing too much. She mimes practically everything lol. Too much alcohol and partying. In comparison Celine is always banging on about how she looks after her voice. Can't see Celine in the studio with gangsters blazin' up haha.

Wholeheartedly agree, Randy. I personally noticed it during My All in the first VH1 Divas Live - there was a significant change, and I remember even thinking "wow, she's got a cold", and there's been a deterioration since. Personally, I love her raspyness and hoarse sounding timbre and infact prefer it to her Daydream-era voice. But yes, there was a definite shift around the Butterfly album.

The two worst things in the world for a singing voice are alcohol and marijuana. On the Daydream tour, which I attended, during the songs Mariah would sip honey and lemon tea. Now between songs she sips champagne. The evidence of her drinking is in the lyrics of her songs since 1997. The Roof, Babydoll, Crybaby, etc. It is evidenced also who Mariah collaborates with on all her albums and what that culture partakes in. That is what changed her voice. It was her choice and she was free to make it, just as Whitney was, who was equally as highly revered and respected as Mariah was for her vocal talent. I really don't think there's anything to publicly acknowledge as it is perpetually thrown in our faces the exact cause of her vocal change.
