Re: Nick (68,454) (68,461) by RibbonB from USA
Doesn't it make you wonder why she would sabotage such an arrangement? M. may be her own worst enemy in relationships. Even when things appear good, she seems to eventually not be happy or to do things which appear very contrary for the health of her relationships.

It would shock me as well, but it would be so awesome. Getting her to come out of hiding would gain them the highest ratings ever. Lol.

Re: Nick (68,450) (68,459) by RibbonB from USA
Lol so what if he has dated many women since their divorce announcement. At least he has been clear to them that he is just dating or spending time and that he has no plans for an extended or committed relationship. That is what some single people do and others like Mariah get engaged but act single with their employees. And like Licia said, Mariah should not care unless she is still in love, but then that would be a whole other type of situation. Mariah can't act like he is off to infinity to her, but he must be hers eternal. But the Nick haters will always hate him. As far as Mariah paying for his transportation and lodging when he visits the children that seems fair, especially for when she keeps them traveling around the world on her tours for weeks and months at a time. He can't be expected to just roll up be welcomed and visit where she is staying, or can he? Perhaps if she were as concerned about living with the children near their father as she was about living with James near his children there would be no need for that clause. If that settlement is even true. At least it shows Nick wasn't after her for her money and they both kept what they brought into the marriage and made during the marriage. Poor Halle has to pay her broke baby daddy like 17k per month for one child and she was never married to that jerk. Let's see how you go in on Broke Bryan her new Damizza like employee turned possible more. He will probably right that tell all when things go sour or she will make him her new Mark so he can "manage" her.

Click like on this if you won't be watching MW (68,458) by Ardis Logic from Earth
I for one will not be watching. Judging from the leaked previews, it's just a lot of materialistic, narcissistic, showing off, nothing of "real" substance. She's giving people what they want to see, drama and nonsense. It's a real turn off for me personally, to watch an artist that I loved and respected for years, turn into something that I now despise. I always thought that I would be a "lamb for life" but she is just turning me off so much now. Is it me that's changed? Maybe, but I think she has also changed a lot too. Then again, maybe she has always been this way but was not letting the public see her in that light. Rant, rant, rant, ect. Peace and love too all. Pray for dem babies.

Bruno Mars - 24K Magic (68,457) by this_is_qhm from the Philippines
The album is amazing. It's his best, most cohesive effort yet. He has always managed the tricky art of striking a balance between artistry and Top 40 sensibilities, and now he nails it once again with even better retro influences that are flawlessly executed. So what if it's shallow and synthetic? It will still be the most fun 30-something minutes you've heard all year, maybe even in a long time. Short and sweet. And Mariah, why and how on earth have you not collaborated with this dude yet? It's criminal.

Re: Nick (68,428) (68,454) by MusicfanJ from Germany
Nick broke her heart like Luis Miguel did. But Luis never said stupid things in the media like Nick did in the past. Anyway I'm sure with Mr. Packer Mariah would just show Nick that she can even have a billionaire who does everything for her (the yacht vacation, diamonds and have fun 24/7). Of course this is childish and like someone mentioned here, "our girl" can't stand to be alone for some time. What I fear is that Bryan Tanaka will become the "second Nick". Another thirsty good-looking young man. Although the chemistry with him is much better than with James Packer. It's really like a soap opera even without the docu-series. Unbelievable. It may be entertaining, but it's not good for the image of a star of that caliber.

Clevver TV's divas you used to love (and still do) (68,453) by Malcolm from Asia
So Clevver TV (this generation's music news channel ) had made a breakdown for some of the female artists. In all fairness, they praise Mariah and gave importance to her by putting her first and showing her at the end credits of the video. Here are some of their commentaries:
Mariah Carey - Ultimate diva, epitome of a diva, OG diva, prototype diva, smartest diva, have "diva" reputation, our generation of diva.
Christina Aguilera - Sassy diva, full of confidence, rebellious diva, a pain to work with, diva voice.
Britney Spears - She's in a different category, more of a pop star not a diva, have a kind demeanor.
Madonna - Another OG Diva, insufferable, she's like a leader, have big "diva" reputation, there's a fear in her diva, she could decapitate a person, queen of divas.
Alicia Keys - Loveliest human being ever, humble, down to earth, chill, she's the kind of diva you want to be, too talented, too nice to be a diva, boss ass bitch.
Beyonce - She's a female version of hustler, she's on her planet of diva, not a human (of course they all treat her as a big deal )
Katy Perry - More laid back, pop star bubble gum, tries to be a diva but don't actually gets there, a tricky one.
Whitney Houston - Ultimate diva in the best way possible, old school diva, she was a league of her own, iconic female musician, had "diva" attitude.
Carrie Underwood - Reigning country diva, always looks like a Disney princess.
Dolly Parton - Ultimate country diva, she's like a walking sequence, the Madonna of country.
Aretha Franklin - Gotta give her r-e-s-p-e-c-t, classic diva, diva on a whole new level, church-gospel diva, she walks out on stage looked like she gives no f*cks.
Celine Dion - There's a diva for everyone and moms need a diva, she doesn't have the personality that says "I own this place", very meticulous, she's a boss.

Re: Mariah's World (68,433) (68,452) by Lila from United States
Well an article from Gossip Cop did say "the superstar's team was banking on Mariah's World being a success, and the planning of her nuptials was seen to be a key part of it, particularly if the series was going to do well enough for a second season". The second season line has been bugging me for a while, especially. All this drama for an 8-episode docuseries? Sounded like they definitely were aiming for more than 8-episodes. Also, we'll see but I don't think James will be resurrected. Another article from Gossip Cop, from last week, had this to say from Mariah's rep: "The singer's relationship with Packer may not have worked out, but it certainly wasn't fake, and the assertion otherwise is absurd. Unfortunately, we have repeatedly had to call out In Touch for publishing lies about the singer." The relationship was still a sham. Mariah was only with him because he's a "billionaire" and he was only with her because she's an international best-selling singer. I do think she found out about the breakup when the rest of us did. Personally, I've never worried about the show being a hit. I think there are people who will watch Mariah for a multitude of reasons. I'm not even inherently against a reality tv show. I do worry about the real life ramifications and where this show will lead. I think you can have decent reality tv shows. Look at the Simmons family, regardless of their real life flaws and issues, Rev Run, Kimora, and Russell's shows were good but then, they were all family and business focused. Does Mariah really have enough good and legitimate things to follow to sustain an entire show? Off the top of my head, I'd say no. She could let us in on her album making process that would be nice. Not enough to sustain a show though. Touring? Honestly, I think it's stupid to wait until 46 and two small children, who need stability, to become a touring artist and I think that would become old quick. I hope she doesn't continue extensively touring. Business? Mariah has a tendency to start projects/businesses and let them fall to the way side, never to be heard of again. Nothing to follow there. If she stuck with something and let the cameras follow the process, that would be great. Charity is great but there's nothing to follow if she doesn't play an active role in contributing in some way, not just showing up. If there's nothing to follow but the manufactured drama, that means people may be tuning in but only because they think that she's messy. That also means even more messy drama would have to be manufactured to keep people interested. Those who do respect her, it will go down. And Lord help us if there's more than one season. I just can't. I just pray it won't turn into a big mess even though it feels and looks like it will.

Re: Nick (68,450) (68,451) by Licia from USA
Gee you completely missed the point trying to save Mariah from criticism. The original post was about Mariah being hurt if he has another baby on the way. Nobody is saying that Nick is innocent. What we are saying is that Mariah should not be upset over anything that he's doing because she's moved on. They haven't been together for a while now so if he's having more kids or has moved on to another woman, why would she be hurt? Why should either Nick or Mariah care what either is doing unless it involves their children? That was my point.

Nick (68,450) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City)
While we all have made comments about Mariah as of late and for the most part comments have been negative which is granted by her actions have been questionable to say the least. Nick has been equally sloppy and trying to cover it up with his fake deep poetry, stupid turbans, and all his other nonsense. This baby thing is messy as he is having a baby with someone he has no interest on being with, also on another note in order for him to spend time with Roc and Roe Mariah has to pay the expenses yet he brags about his coins constantly. Also let's not forget he was seen around with various lady prospects since the breakup Nicole Murphy, Jessica White, Chilli who he refers to as his heart how convenient while having a baby with someone else. I say all that to say Nick is not angel and has been equally sloppy but try to cover it up with the political deep guy act don't be fooled people as we shall not be fooled when Mariah is out of pocket.

Being Mariah Carey (68,446) by RibbonB from USA
Let's hope this series is not the "Being Bobby Brown" equivalent and thank God that reality show only lasted one year as Whitney refused to sign on for another year. Here is what one reviewer said of that show. One reviewer, Barry Garron, wrote that "Being Bobby Brown, the reality show spotlighting the R&B singer whose rap sheet might be longer than his catalog, is undoubtedly the most disgusting and execrable series ever to ooze its way onto television." Garron and other reviewers noted that the show contained remarks regarding sexuality and excretory functions, and Garron opined that the show robbed Whitney Houston "of any last shreds of dignity". Hopefully MW won't be this low brow, but it definitely seems intended to publicly shred Mariah's dignity.

Haha I love that Oprah gif, so I'm just glad I could use it. That's my silver lining for all these drama. See when she said "docu-series" I was thinking more along the lines of the E Uncut for TEOM and "Mariah Around the World" type of situation. I honestly couldn't care less about Bryan being paid to have a crush story line, Stella trying (and failing) to be the next Kris Jenner, Mariah gulping pot brownies and the Bryan trying to take Mariah's measurements. But heck who cares about what I want. Lord I still can't believe they are having the "Stella firing someone" and "Maryanne going off on someone" moments in there. Then trying to tell me that this isn't a reality show like girl, bye.

Looks very good to me. It looks well made/edited/produced and sounds interesting. It's very Mimi but at the same time it's not all about her. She looks cool I think. It really does sound interesting guys.

Vanessa's voice is really nice. I say highly unlikely Sade rolls from out of her British rock to appear on Diva's Holiday. Lol I do hope they all sing well.

Re: Mariah's World (68,439) (68,441) by RibbonB from USA
Mariah said it will continue if people want to see it, otherwise she will have good footage for herself. So she seems committed to it as long as the money rolls in. Sounds like they have you hooked Mimi L. Girl get your life then. Lol I do believe that there have to be some surprises that are not being shown. They have built up the gossip and intrigue for those interested, but there has to be some mundane day to day parts and hopefully some more or morally redeeming parts for Mariah.

Re: Nick (68,437) (68,440) by RibbonB from USA
Exactly. At this point, Mariah should not be butt hurt about him moving on, since she has long ago. She has to be very childish if she is "acting out" based on him becoming a parent again, while she allegedly begged him to sign the papers so she could have a wedding. A new step-parent would have far more impact on their lives than a potential new sibling in their lives, who won't even be living with them. Mariah needs to do some internal work of her own instead of reality show therapy.

Re: Mariah's World (68,433) (68,439) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
All the drama and all might bring in people who live for the drama. I'm still hoping that they used the "dramatic parts" to pull in the GP, while in the full episodes it has stuff that cater better to the lambs. For example - some studio sessions, pre-show ritual and all. E. obviously won't release something that won't get them ratings and the main viewers of E. are ones who love themselves some drama. About possible second season, it seems more and more likely. That would explain the bizarre over dramatic antics that are being pulled by Mariah and her team. Maybe they are still filming, who knows? And these are parts of the scripted reality show, yes let's not even call it a docu-series anymore. So many questions about what is going on, whether Mariah and Packer actually broke up, why is Mariah so uber close with Tanaka when they discuss he has a crush on her on the show, is Rocky eventually going to punch Tanaka and yell "Stay away from my mommy." Will Mishka get a spin-off after MW. Is MW going to be Mariah's new thing, as in is she going the reality show round for good? All these questions and I'm sitting here like

I'm excited about Vanessa being added. Ribbon, Sade needs to be added to the roster as soon as possible. I actually need to send VH1 my list of people who need to be added. That list is long. Second thought they need to just let me take over period. Lol.

Re: Nick (68,428) (68,437) by Licia from USA
At this point her nor Nick should care about what either is doing as long as the kids aren't hurt. New baby or not he shouldn't care about how she's feeling. He has the right to move on just like she did. She paraded billionaire boy around for a year and got engaged while allegedly still married. She cared about no one else's feelings. Why is Nick somehow obligated to care about hers? I could see if he got someone pregnant while they were still together.

Mariah's newest AIWFCIY performances (68,435) by darrian liu from taiwan
To be frank, I am disappointed with her performances in Toronto and the ABC special. The ABC special isn't released yet but from the raw video, it sounds like either she lipped the whole thing or she sang live but was overpowered by the backing track. I wish she would show off her vocal improvements, because both performances in Toronto and the special aren't showing it. On second thought, after watching the mic feed of Toronto, I think Toronto sounds pretty good.
