This is KickAss? (67,567) by Andrew from UK Little confused as to what James Packer had to gain from the alleged "publicity stunt". Surely, he doesn't need it. You could fabricate a hundred theories as to why he does but they wouldn't hold much water. Doesn't anybody feel sorry for the fans in South America who paid for flights and hotels which they probably won't get refunded back to them? For the fans who looked forward to it for ages only to be disappointed and not even get a genuine apology? Strange that the story is about Mariah getting dumped by somebody she was only ever going out with because of the fame and money associated with it. However, even *I* don't think Mariah has turned her *whole* life into a bullshit story to expose a little documentary and get it some viewers. What's more: there's little evidence to support such a theory. So let everyone rejoice that James is out of the picture and that Stella will (one can only imagine) probably be soon out of the picture and that Mariah will... well, Mariah will be on her own again with no new material and a heap shit of bad press and social media exploits that tarnishes her image further and ruins her legend. I don't agree with "no press is bad press". "Bad press", to me, would encapsulate being thought of as a person who used to sell records selling his or her reputation for some column inches. She needs to release a kickass party album soon in the new year. Ten tracks with attitude. Kill it. Put this nonsense behind her. In fact, she should call it that. I do not believe they broke up over money, they both have their own money. One thing about the relationship was that is was very good for her because she got better. She seemed happier and could sing much better than the post break up with Nick. I wonder if Stella had something to do with break up. I think Stella needs to be removed from her team, immediately. I wish Nick would finally sign off on the divorce and stop waiting for his pay day or situations to occur that could benefit him. Overall I hope Mariah really finds that happy stable relationship because these relationships seems to be important to her well being (as they are with most people). Mariah was due back from vacation, so I doubt she left the boat because he did something bad. Like who dumped whom with these different scenarios our there. She had her Empire appearance etc. in October and James is trying not to get arrested in China and to have his 18 employees released and fight off corruption money laundering charges in China. They are getting cheap "breakup" attention, but I still say it won't generate big interest for this show. Non fans are just confused by her and all her hangers on. Fans are either happy or pissed, which doesn't really set the stage for a show with wide appeal. It just strikes me as desperate. Oh well, we have a serious election about to go down. Unless this is aimed at Mariah, she is supposed to be the manager of a woman, the legend, the brand Mariah Carey. This is not Tiny we are talking about here, no offense to Tiny. But come on. This is how you behave? This is classless behavior, especially when she knows all eyes are on MC right now with all these stories. People are also forgetting that M. is on camera dancing with Anthony and some chick. There are so many planted moments in an attempt to create drama. This is a Brett Ratner/Ratpac production IMO. Produced by Stellar the blush wielder. Lest we forget, Eddie Morales previously commented "let's hope the witch, or bitch or whatever he called Stella, doesn't sink the whole ship before M. relaunches her career". Sadly, M. may end up with whomever generates the most interest. A pitiful joke to play on herself and her children. TMZ / James and Mariah (67,560) by Mara from United States Ok so apparently this story keeps on growing. Now TMZ states that something big happened in Greece when they were all vacationing and James did something "bad" to Mariah's assistant, hence Stella, and Mariah left and went back to LA. Ok now I vaguely remember a tabloid story that Maraiah and James went to Greece to try and salvage their relationship. Makes me wonder who is feeding these stories to the tabloids and TMZ. They always say according to this inside source. I don't know about you, but if I were Mariah I would really start to think long and hard as to where all this so called inside info is coming from. She needs to look at her inner circle a little closer unless she is in on it as well. Makes you wonder if James was the one funding and behind the promoters for the South American tour and that is why it had to be pulled. Would make sense as why Mariah was quoted onTwitter saying she was very disappointed in the promoters and how her fans deserved better than that. It almost had a personal message to it to the promoters. But then it states that James and Mariah are done "for now" all very odd to me. To quote them "sources connected with Mariah claim James did 'something really bad' involving her assistant. The sources would not elaborate but we're told after the alleged incident Mariah bailed on the vacation, got off the boat and returned to L.A." So now how much do you want to bet James told Stella to get to fudge out of his suite when he was trying to bed Mariah and Stella was sitting their, all contoured up and leather jackets galore, chattering away. But I'm a bit worried about Mariah, hope she's okay too. She doesn't seem to be a woman who is able to be "alone". I officially knew that this union had an expiration date once I saw this video that shows the painfully obvious differences between Mariah and James' personalities. Not to mention that Mariah went from being miserable that Nick was always gone to being a-okay and even happy with only seeing someone she was "in love" with not even once a month. I think it was a business arrangement and publicity stunt, so I can't really imagine Mariah being heartbroken over anything other than giving the ring back. I also think it's suspect that the news outlet is saying that there might be a possibility of them getting back together. Sounds like they're keeping their foot in the door to pull another "they're back together" stunt closer to the premier of Mariah's World. If that's the case, these tactics are pathetic. She was introduced to him by Brett wasn't she? During a premier in 2014. I think if it is true it won't be about money it will be about the amount of people they have swirling around them. In videos of them eating dinner you can clearly see her entourage doing his head in lol. I think perhaps he wouldn't have known what he was getting into. Wasn't half of the episodes about the wedding preparations? This is very awkward. I guess this is what happens when you don't keep your private life private. Going around bragging about a ring and now have to explain to everyone what happened is embarrassing. I feel bad for her. If James was so private, why did he allow those up close and personal pictures of Mariah awkwardly kissing him on the yacht, the motor-boating sessions, and countless other awkward "making out" pictures, which were clearly taken by her people and he was aware of it. Unless of course he doesn't read the entertainment news at all and never saw those. But I doubt it. Wendy has apparently already jumped on the story. I didn't see it yet. I mean, I love how it eludes to the fact that Packer was not happy with Mariah's relationship or whatever you want to call it with "one of her dancers" (Bryan) and that it was captured on video and will be seen on the E show. So it's like they are trying to spark interest in seeing the way Mariah interacts with BT. Then you have the fact that Tanaka was promoted to Mariah's "new Creative Director" in the June leg of the Vegas shows, even having his formal announcement on social media and Mariah's shout out mentions and thank you's to him at the closing of her shows, and then abruptly sometime in August we have Anthony Burrell back at the job with no public mention. Then the Twitter/Instagram pics of the Halloween party with Tanaka tagging everyone but Stella in the pic and then later the day Stella posts the same pic and crops Brian out. (Yeah I had too much time on my hands that day, lol, home sick with flu.) But all I'm saying is this really seems like Kardashian type hype for stories on their show. I really hope I am wrong. From the very beginning Mariah has been doing the strangest things and all for the camera for our consumption to mull over and discuss. Like why would she film a "rendezvous" with the help no less? Why even film a reality show about a new relationship with a wealthy man, who has always been private? It has always been designed to generate interest and drama, that may or may not be there. A lot of her fans have been into it, but I think many more have cried foul. I don't think the tour and her "breakup" are connected. If Mariah had any hand in the problem, the promoters would not be refunding money, they would be suing her for breach of contract. One thing is true, Stellar is not so stellar as I have always thought. She should be blamed for the lack of communication and not being more forthright with the fans. Mariah already made her statement. And people going bat crap cray, what else is new? Them fools need to stop, IMO. (Thursday 27 October 2016; 16:39)

TMZ is reporting the split (67,543) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter So TMZ has picked up the story and their reasoning for the split sounds more believable than the crappy one about Mariah being extravagant. According to TMZ, Packer was not happy with some of the scenes involving Mariah and one of her dancers, *cough* Bryan *cough*. Quoting TMZ "the deal breaker for Packer came when she had some sort of rendezvous with one of the dancers in her Vegas show, something that is on video for the reality show". He was also apparently never on board with the whole reality show thing. Anyways according to TMZ they have split but apparently there is still a possibility of them getting together. Now that they have said there is a possibility of them getting back, could this be a publicity stunt for MW? I don't know about Mariah but I wouldn't put it past Stella to dig up cheap publicity, especially since we know that the whole Bryan rumors were spreading like fire and got people talking. If this was Mariah any other year I would be 100% certain that she won't do such a thing, but with Stella whispering in her ears, I will have to wait and see. Regardless of this, I'll still wait on official confirmation of the split and even if they split, I can't say it's a bad thing. They looked more like cousins (like Licia said before) than a couple.
