Re: Mariah is modeling agent provocateur (66,244) (66,253) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
No wonder she's been wearing the bra almost everywhere. I at least hope the ads are tastefully done and does not look like screen caps from a sex tape.

Re: Annabelle (66,241) (66,252) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
Lol best thing I've seen this week is Anabelle trying to pose as a new member. This board never stops with the drama. Where is our reality show contract?

Re: New pictures (66,238) (66,251) by Merr Hasenan from Malaysia
I don't really care on the bra campaign that Mariah tries to pull on us. It was only matter when my students were rolling their eyes when they caught me scrolling Mariah's IG and they were thinking I was into soft porn (which I did once in a while).

Looks great. Ironic though that someone who sells good makeup can't get a decent makeup artist. I mean whoever that is should have been fired 500 terrible looks ago.

So glad everyone agrees. I need a two disc set. Disc one full of Sony unreleased songs and disc two full of Def Jam unreleased songs. Hell, can you throw some demos in there too? I think every Mariah fan new and old would buy it. Slipping Away would still sound current on today's radio. Make it the lead singe of the project. Lol.

Thanks B, and I love you too. You are one of my favorites. P.S. I love all this new level of shade that you are serving these days. I'd like to think I was an influence on you. Would you just say I was. Lol. Just kidding. Common Mariah and Drake collab.

Re: Wow some post here (66,231) (66,247) by 123 from USA
Let me hop on in here. Great post Ed. And Sheila I agree to a certain extent. You should never generalize a negative statement about any group of people. That being said, it's funny how everyone jumps on Sheila for that statement, but when there are derogatory statements made about race (of course disguised as a joke), no one but maybe one other person and Mimi L say anything. Everyone becomes mute. Ed is new from what I gather and a new person is going to say what they see. The board has gotten more than negative, downright visceral at times. But for the most part, everyone has valid points. I can't say they aren't. It seems most fans are fed up with her and it makes me sad but I understand. Being positive doesn't mean praising everything she does. Who does that on this board anymore? I think we chased the "she can't do anything" wrong fans away. Look at Marissa. I may not have agreed with her petition but I supported it because she had a good cause and her statement was well written and classy without an ounce of negativity. Her petition was being mocked two weeks ago about its success, but look who ended up taking over their social media, even though it will be brushed off as a coincidence. We may not have wanted naked pics in a tub, but it's a start. My point is you get a lot more with honey than salt. Also, when she does do something good, it never gets the attention that something negative. I was thinking maybe I'm giving her to much credit, and then I watched this. She has come a long way. Please watch and compare to this. Not perfect by any means, but definitely has come a long way.

Re: New music (66,235) (66,246) by Marissa from USA
Not only would it be a smart move, but it would be a heck of a lot easier. Maybe there's a lot of red tape/politics involved in releasing her old stuff because I've never understood why someone with an arsenal of potential hits would keep going back to the drawing board instead of using what they already have. I don't care what year she actually recorded the particular song as long as I've never heard it before and she can successfully perform it live.

Re: New Insta pics (66,240) (66,245) by ADAM from USA
Marissa I agree. I'm throwing in the towel. I've unfollowed her on Instagram and feel so disinterested in anything she's doing nowadays. The memory I have of her music and character is something I'll always remember and treasure, but it's clear the persona she is now is not something I stand to support in any way. I will not let her team manipulate the adoration and trust of legacy fans like myself any longer. I'm not falling for the "my fans are everything" gimmick and how music is her saving grace. I've come to the realization that I don't like who Mariah is personally for quite some time now and that the distain is enough to make me walk away. If she ever decides to creates good music again I'm sure I'll hear about it otherwise I'm not here for this gratuitous woman who has no class, respect, or integrity. She has become so deluded in her vanity and insecure with her standing in the world that she continues to alienate not only herself but many of her long-time fans. While the world suffers another tragedy, Mariah continues to flaunt diamonds, yachts, and selfies. She really has zero interest in the world around her and I hope that her money keeps her company because she doesn't fool me as happy lounging around in her excess and material goods. Goodbye.

Mariah is modeling agent provocateur (66,244) by Ty from USA
The ads are coming soon, Mariah told us backstage she will be the spokesperson for the brand in 2017, sales since the first pic have skyrocketing, be patient prudes she's making moves.

Re: New Insta pics (66,240) (66,243) by Edward from USA
Marissa, that's exactly what I was thinking. Why regurgitate the same thing when she doesn't seem to care. Actually she seems to be enjoying it. A pic basically emulating an orgasm is going to translate in millions in album sales. I never thought Mariah would turn into what Madonna has been doing, it looks so desperate. I'm not giving out my opinion on the subject of her pictures either, at this point it is abso-f*cking-diculous. If she's pulling these stunts to generate ratings, she should at least get better quality pictures. But let me be a "true lamb" and say: "yas queen", you're slaying and snatching wings. I really can't wait for new music.

Right about now I'd be happy with an album of unreleased songs from 1902 until the supposed new music shows up. Lol.

I was trying to figure out who Annabelle was at first now I got it and the descriptions provided fit perfectly. Exellent job Mimi L. Lol.

New Insta pics (66,240) by Marissa from USA
So after the latest conservative pic like this one, I've decided that I'm not saying anything else on this messageboard about her Instagram photos for as long as I can stand. She knows that the fans are constantly begging her to show some class and doesn't care. She knows that she is worth more than this, but doesn't care. I'm going to sit back and see if pandering to the sexual deviants of Instagram finally gets her another #1 or gets her to sell millions of albums again. I have my hypothesis that this approach will make a marginal difference between album sales of MIAM and album sales of whatever she's putting out next. Granted it will probably get her way more views to Mariah's World, but it won't make a big difference where it really matters unless she releases unparalleled music to accompany this. Regardless, I've officially given up hope that the mysterious, classy Mariah of yesteryear will ever return, and by yesteryear I am not talking about the 90s, but within the past 5 years. She's gone. I don't know how the longsufferers of 15+ years still do it, but it hasn't even been a full year of these antics and as a fan I feel defeated. I will always want to hear Mariah's music and see new performances but personality-wise, as of now I've outgrown her as a lot of people have and are probably struggling to come to terms with it. I'm over getting shocked and outraged about the same old, same old. If it's not about the music, new projects, performances, or the world's most omnipresent manager (or unless her family members pop out of the woodwork again), I'm withholding my opinion.

New pictures (66,238) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
"Bra-ce" yourself, get it? We have a new series of bra out photos. Photo 2. And last but not the least, photo 3. The bras are getting skimpier, the clothes/robes are getting shorter, the open robe situation is getting wider. Can I get a "yas queen"? No? A "slay Mariah"? No? Come on guys. Quick question, even though all these pictures are unnecessary, but can someone tell me why the picture of her lying down was important? I mean she is clearly mid movement. She is also mid blink. She looks as confused as I am. Am I missing some artistic vision this picture is trying to convey?

I'm also looking forward to hearing her collaborations with Crystal. She only needs one collaborator for lyrics even though she writes her best lyrics she writes them by herself.

Exactly, most people really do care, but some take the insults way too far. I believe Mariah does consider the constructive criticism when it reaches her. Consider the petition which was positive and constructive, yet it got bashed by a lot of Lambs, but I think everyone noticed when M. tweeted recently. At least it seemed like her.

Re: New music (66,227) (66,235) by B from USA
I agree. She's recorded hundreds of songs that have never been released. Releasing them would be a smart move. Smarter than updating #1's.

Re: 5 Whitney songs that Mariah would slay (66,210) (66,234) by Luke from United Kingdom
Ooh I've always thought Mariah would be great singing Greatest Love Of All. And I imagined her singing the last "love" belt as a really long and ethereal whistle. Lol. One can only dream.

Mariah could have definitely sang "You give good love" and "So emotional".

Beyonce (66,232) by Giovanni from USA
I'm all for a collaboration with "The weekend", but hopefully the one with Beyonce was just a rumor. We don't need Beyonce. She's the woman Mariah needs to outshine. I'm sick of Beyonce and her winning Grammys she doesn't deserve. She's a great singer but her music just sucks and has absolutely no meaning. There are so many other better talented female singers and "artists" that deserve a Grammy and a chance in the spotlight. Jessie J, Ledisi, JoJo, Jennifer Hudson, I'm so glad there's Adele because she's the only other female who can outshine and outsell Beyonce. "Formation" screamed attention and desperation for relevance. I want Mariah to make the best album she possibly can and outshine everyone.

Re: Wow some post here (66,216) (66,229) by Andrew from UK
An increasing number of fans seemingly fail to understand blindness and muteness as to the reality of "badness" when it is happening, but are overjoyed and outspoken with elation when the badness ends. Out of many examples of criticism that you have outlined or others may give let me use Mariah's weight as a case in point. Mariah got fat. People complained about it and in turn were complained about for being negative and rude and worse. The word even got banned from this board. But fat she was. She over-indulged massively and, obviously, had damaged her image because of this. You weren't allowed to say it, though, and absolutely not allowed to joke about it. But scroll forward and Mariah loses quite a bit of the weight. Suddenly all those who were screaming that she's not fat and calling the press to tell them not to call her fat and waking up the President to complain about fat jokes were talking everywhere about how Mariah has lost so much weight and looks so good and she's back to this year or that year and we believe Mariah can ride on the unicorn'a back again, yass queen yass. This is just a bizarre way of being. It is changing the narrative to suit your own ideal. So when I first called people loonies and was told I was a big old meanie, it was based upon that forced altering of the narrative, of having to live wrapped in social justice warrior-cotton wool. Sure, you can be diehard fans who love unconditionally, but it doesn't make you anymore righteous than those who don't tow your line, for in your narrative, the truth is often completely lost. A bit like at Westboro Baptist Church.

Re: negative fans (66,228) by Natalia from Italy
So in order to be considered a true fan of Mariah you have to praise and think that everything she does is the right choice apparently. That is ridiculous. If you truly love someone and you see that they are making choices in their life that is hurting them, you should speak about it. Enabling them is not true love. Now when it crosses the line into insults, like people calling her a "tranny" and slurs like that, that's not love. Those of us who see these bad choices that she's making, and call it out, are being honest and realistic. We just want her to be at her best.
