I wish Mariah would perform Outside. Has she ever preformed it live before? I'm pretty sure she hasn't but I could be wrong. I wish she would swap Infinity for Outide and other classic album cuts. I'm excited that Mariah is working on new music. I hope she writes a song or two with Miguel. #Beautiful seamlessly updated Mariah's signature sound without sounding desperate. I also hope she writes a few songs with Bruno Mars and The Smeezington's. When I Was Your Man and Locked Out Of Heaven are two of my favorite songs. Lambily (63,453) by Malcolm from Asia This messageboard is already dominating the negatives and it's sad. We've become so much into Mariah's actions even with the smallest and pettiest things. I miss those times when I visits this with its good vibes feel and the negatives were moderate. At the end of the day we doesn't know what Mariah is actually doing behind the camera. Beyoncé have her hives, Rihanna have her navy even Madonna have her rebel hearts if we can call them like that, but I can't say the same with Mariah if we are still her lambs. I respect people's opinions but I think there is a fine line between having an opinion and borderline offending someone. Mariah deserves better fans than this. She has always been able to effortlessly deliver with her whisper register so for that to be a problem now is not a good sign. The drinking is not easy on her voice, I thought I saw a joint in her hand in pic with DJ Suss which shocked me, sleep deprivation is something she's suffered since childhood and all the partying with Stella, being a parent, MW, tour, travel and of course being 47 years old are bound to take their toll. Fans tend to hold her to a very high standard vocally because of how amazing she was in the 90s but a voice needs to be cared for, strengthened, rested, and nurtured or like anything else it suffers. She's been selling records and tickets her gay fans for years but one day they will wake up and smell the roses. Do you think Madonna forgot to tweet? Mariah lives to tweet about herself but it's not like she has ever been socially aware, all that stuff gets spoon fed to her by management and we all know that Stella is only thinking about getting her daughter on the map and couldn't give one hoot about 50 dead people in Orlando or anywhere else. Chante Moore still can produce a beautiful whistle note and wrap it around a soft melody. See Chante Moore "It's alright" live and that's a beautiful soft whistle so remarkable Mariah has all but abandoned the notes. (Thursday 16 June 2016; 12:27)

I think she still uses more of her chest voice in her mix, that's why her voice sounds so heavy. But then this predominantly chesty mix is taking a toll on her voice's flexibility. She does still have a good agility but she could use some balancing of her head-chest ratio in her mix in order to retain some of her former ease and flexibility. (Thursday 16 June 2016; 12:05)

What she lost, though is a lot of the fluidity and ease. She doesn't push as much for the usual sky-high ad libs. She does know her limitations and resorts to vocal saves for alternatives. The whistles (63,437) by Alexis Morell Carrington Colby Dexter Rowan from USA As someone who is hard on Mariah's live performance vocals, I'll give her credit for some of what I've seen in the recent shows. She seems to be trying more. However, I want to know what is going on with her whistle register. Her high notes in the show are lipped IMO. I can only think of maybe 5 in the last year that may have been live but they sounded sick a la Jamaica VOL from last year. I remember when she would have bad vocal moments (Rainbow and Mimi tour) but those high notes would ring out almost as if she was trying to make up for the rest of her voice struggling. Now a days there aren't any more spontaneous or superfluous whistle notes. Has anyone else noticed this? I miss my high notes. (Thursday 16 June 2016; 5:59)

I have no idea what she did to get her voice back but I am really happy that it has returned. That's been the best thing about this era so far to me. I wish I didn't give a shit about everything and keep quiet. Believe it or not, I have a right to my opinion and will voice it, if and when I please. Mariah does nothing wrong, she is perfect, she should just get a bunch of awards "just because she's Mariah" (found that laughable), and we are all learning from her.
