Well, it was either you or somebody who looks, walks and talks like you. So could be any number of drag queens. AIWFCIY department store thing sounds great. Unless, of course, it's Matalan. But HMS Ocean sort of won out on that front a couple of years ago - Mariah even tweeted about it, I think. So you just need something to outdo the Royal Navy's flagship. No pressure, like. He was asked by a fan on twitter what it was like working with MC. He said she gets drunk off a very little bit of wine and she was in the booth made for one with him while he was trying to record his verse for Migrate and to me in my opinion he was making it seem like something happened in there. Why do we value social media so much? (57,858) by MimiLamb from Germany I'm reading through the comments here and I'm like what? Some of you are disappointed because Mariah did not Tweet right away? And when she did it wasn't her. Some seem to take social media way too serious. Just because she tweets doesn't mean she doesn't care, she is an entertainer and for me those moments are there to escape the harsh reality of what's going on, even if it's only for a few seconds. My heart goes out for the world, Paris was not the only city/country under attack. I pray that we don't get worse then we already faced. These are hard times for us all, let's not start nitpicking on "our idol" because she doesn't do what you expect her to do. Touch My Body - 100M Vevo certified (after 1 week) (57,857) by Pau from Mexico Exactly a week ago, I posted that the TMB YouTube video had 94,474,627 views and asked all the lambily to watch it every now and then to achieve what would be MC's 3rd Vevo certification. You want to know how the lambily did? At the moment, the video has 94,883,950 views so it had a growth of 409,323 views in 7 days. If this pace remains constant, MC would get the certification in 12.7 weeks and that would be in mid February 2016. Do you imagine how cool would that be? To get the 100M in the middle of her Vegas run. If you guys want to know more about MC's YouTube statistics, go to this link and check how she is doing in total views, views per week, subscriptions, etc. You cannot know the growth per video, the website only gives you the average change of her 133 videos, and even gives you projections. In the last 60 days she had an average of 1,060,169 views per day, which I believe is too low, although I reckon it has been increasing little by little and we could get to make it go even higher. Tweet Mariah tweet (57,855) by Andrew from UK I think people should look to Mariah Carey for a tweet about the Paris hideousness as they should look to Francois Hollande to burst into song. Tweets these days (especially when celebrities die) are somewhat seemingly self-promotion (I'm a little cynical, yes) and often just random meaningless words typed into the ether, because it's expected of them. It's smacks a little of left-wing pressure: "Say what we want, when we want, or we're coming for you." Mariah Carey has a deep heart, and her heart sings. I suggested to them that they should do a staff Christmas singalong video for social media, and after putting a proposal and some costs together the client has agreed. Which song will I be using? None other than All I Want For Christmas Is You. I'll be filming next week, and the finished video will go live on December 11th, I can't wait to share it with you all. Throwback pictures (57,847) by Manny from U.S. I was thinking of the throwback pictures posted on Mariah's social media accounts. I wonder of its just a "survey", in a subtle way. Stella might be seeing which ones are more popular. She might check which "Mariah" people like. People start commenting things like "this was my fav era, she released Butterfly" or similar things. They will go from there and Mariah will write music inspired from that era for next album. It's just a theory. I listen to "Elusive Chanteuse". It's one of favorite albums. About MiMi's networth of $520M or whatever, that's just a rough estimate of how much money she'd have at her disposal today, if she liquidated all her assets all in one go: properties, art, publishing, fine jewlery, masters, vehicles, awards, brands etc. The same goes for anyone's networth. From the average Joe to James Packer. It's the same reason why you always insure your posseions in as high a price range as possible because every little thing you buy and put in your house adds up. That way you don't screw yourself out of getting back whatever amount it would take to restore your property to it's full value after a flood, fire or natural disasters. And when it comes to the 90's? That was Mariah Carey's decade, we all know it. Madonna didn't even manage a single #1 album that entire time. Ask Billboard. So People magazine was blatantly wrong. But what else is new? The press at large are always trying to make Mariah's success and ecliptic impact seem less than it was and still is. It's time us lambily started calling our individual country's press out when they get Mariah wrong. It's obviously been affecting her marketability negatively that her brand is being watered down for the benefit of Madonna, JLo and the like. If you're not a lamb that obviously wrong apply to you. Social media narcissism (57,843) by Jono from USA Firstly, Mariah did post on Twitter/Instagram about Pray For Paris. Secondly, I don't understand how if Mariah hadn't post something about the tragedy, that she's not thinking about it. We've become so brainwashed in to thinking that social media dictates our lives. Just because someone doesn't post something online for the whole world to see and like and comment, doesn't mean that person isn't thinking about it or doing any means to help in their personal life. This is what I hate about the generation - we're treating this online persona we all create for ourselves as reality. It's not. Yes technological advances have allowed us to connect with people across the world, but it has also created the greatest distance between those that are nearest to us. It's shallow and vapid that's spur of the moment and immediately forgotten the next day. Actions speak louder than words. Mariah is one of the most charitable celebrities but you don't hear about it because she doesn't run around making the cause about her. Lastly, as much as my heart and prayers go out to the victims in Paris, we also must confront how we deal with tragedy in this modern age. Sure, changing your Facebook profile to the French flag shows solidarity, but in reality it does nothing in the long run for the friends and family that were directly affected by this horrendous act.
