Re: Lambily opinion: Mariah's easiest song? (59,025) (59,027)
by Matteo from Italy

I do love sing MC's song all the time. Not in public of course (for obvious reasons ) but I do find "Touch my body" pretty easy to sing even if my singing abilities totally suck. And I do find "Stay the night" the one that hurts my throat the most while trying to keep up with the song.

Beyonce again? There is a bunch of real singers. Why she again?Give the chance to Mariah. Do you think Mariah will do it someday? Imagine the moment for us MC lovers, Mariah with her shades on, and then her favorite element, water, fountains around her, some Honey dance moves, with some fake rainbows coming across, whatever haha, just to piss people off as usual.

Lambily opinion: Mariah's easiest song? (59,025)

I was singing to all MC's tracks and realize I die to every single one of them. Even the "supposedly" easy ones are hard. What songs can you guys take if you were to sing one? Slipping Away would be my choice. Just for fun.

Ok I thought of the second person. Prince, George Michael, Bon Jovi or Paul McCartney. Any of them I feel would be great although I can't picture Prince being in a setting where he isn't the main attraction.

Superbowl (59,023)
by Jonathan from United States

I know Coldplay and Beyonce are doing this year's superbowl performance but I would love to see Mariah do it with Boyz II Men. Of course I believe Mariah is perfectfly able to headline and have two guests like everyone else before her but I think her sharing half the spotlight with B2M would please so many people. It could be a tribute to 90s R&B or something since it's very popular now. First Mariah has been singing her hits so she could sing all her 90s hits like half of her fans have wanted for so long and B2M can do the same. Then at the end they could do OSD. Mariah could go on vocal rest for a month and practice her beloved Honey moves. It would reintroduce her to so many people. Now if she were to ever do the show on her own I would need all of her hits, 90s and 00s. Plus I would want her guest to be Jay Z and someone unexpected like a rock legend or something. What do you guys want?

Mariah's directioral debut was a success. She's directing three more films for Hallmark. The article doesn't clarify if she'll star in any of the films or not. I'm looking forward to the greeting card line she's also working on with Hallmark. I've always loved their cards.

I swear Wendy doesn't have to rehears anymore. She pretty much is so obsessed with Mariah that anything she has to say about her has been already thought in her sleep time lol. That woman creeps me, I don't know who bothers watching her show or any gossip show for that matter. It's for people with peanut brains or nothing better to do. I never watched a show until there was this talk about Mariah going so much around the time when she was at her lowest, I thought in giving it a try and see what the fuzz was about and good grief, I couldn't handle over 5 mins of that woman ranting and mumbling junk. I can't believe there are people doing a living out of it and others feeding her. Her negativity charges with her fandom of negatrons. How unsettling.

Has anyone seen this video? The whistle is from behind the scenes at the Elusive Chanteuse Show in Shanghai. It works perfectly with the Divas Live 2000 performance. It's a shame Diana Ross did not allow Mariah to do whistles on the duets. This song would have sounded so much better this way.

Wendy Williams (59,017)
by ADAM from USA

Wendy rehearses Hot Topics before they go live every morning which is why there are pictures to coincide with her commentary. I am a fan of both WW and MC. I saw her recent comments about MC and I didn't take it negatively. I interpreted her comments as MC would be able to get away with excuses because she has built her image around her being super glamorous and girly and one that would be prone to making excuses. WW has said many times throughout her radio and TV career how much of a legend MC is when the timing is appropriate. WW has always made it known that there are 2 voices in music: Whitney and Mariah. To me, WW is a fan and gets paid to gossip on TV, this is her brand. Mariah knows this and enjoys Wendy. Just YouTube her epic radio interview during the Mimi era and you can easily see Mariah had a ball. She was fun and diva and camp and both ladies revealed things they never had before. Mariah also name dropped Wendy in TMB. I thinks it's all love and respect between the two ladies. Mariah knows that any publicity is good publicity even when ones talk trash for a living. I just think that MC will go on Wendy once she ever decides to marry James because she knows Wendy likes to dip for dirt so once she's tied down she knows there's no Nick drama to find up. Does anyone els share my thoughts?

Yeah that was funny, but I honestly don't think she meant it as a diss. Mariah even said herself that she was just being honest. How can you give an opinion on someone you don't know.

Whitney Houston (59,015)

First of all, damn I miss her so much. She was a feisty one. She put quite a few interviewers in their place. She didn't put up with their petty B.S. As a tribute to one of my favorite artist of all time, here is one of my all time favorite Whitney Houston songs.

Whitney puts Wendy in her place (59,014)
by Seth M from South Africa
| |
|

Wendy makes a living gossiping about other people and she should be ashamed of her self. She does not have the charisma of Ellen or the intelligence and class of Oprah. She comes across as barbaric and disrespectful and that Is why I am so glad that Whitney Houston put her in her place back in the day. You can hear the interview on YouTube ( for those of you who have not yet listened to it). Search for "Whitney Houston puts Wendy Williams in her place" and let me know what you think. In the interview, Wendy Williams admitted that she was addicted to cocain. It explains why her brains are fried.

Wendy commentary (59,013)
by Chicago Lamb from USA

I don't know why everyone gets so bent out of shape over Wendy's mouth in regards to Mariah. Wendy has stated many times she has been a fan forever. Just the fact she brings up Mariah at all should make us happy. Wendy is keeping Mariah's name on the airwaves, and that's good publicity.

Someone who is worth a half a billion dollars and coined the phrase "I don't know her", is paying her dust. You all should too. This is logic. But I love you all, MC and WW as well. You all keep me entertained.

That's because Wendy's show is watched by a lot of people who will just go on to assume (since they are not all lambs) that what she is saying is true and that just adds to all the other things that has damaged Mariah's reputation. Plus she just basically dragged Mariah into a story which had absolutely nothing to do with her and then called her trashy and a drama queen who pretended to lay in the hospital with a sling to get public sympathy/attention. That is pure bull shit. Lastly we can't just assume Mariah doesn't get worked up over these too just because she doesn't talk publicly about it. Mariah is always aware of what tabloids say about her as we have seen in many interviews and she knows what Wendy says because once when she called in to Wendy's show, she mentioned how Wendy says a lot of bad things about her and yet she called into her radio show.

Why does it make us upset when Wendy, or anyone talks bad about Mariah? That's just human nature. When you care or even love someone, when someone else says something bad about them, it's natural that it is going to upset you. Not only that, this is on a national TV show watched by millions and she bashes MC quite often. What is so hard to understand about that? Just like when someone in school makes fun of your mama, it hurts and pisses you off.

It always irritates me when Wendy talks shit about Mariah, but she has a habit of bringing Mariah up in stories that have absolutely nothing to do with her just to trash her. It wasn't a Mariah story that she happened to have a negative opinion about. It was 100% about Janet. What she said wasn't even a little side comment. She had a picture up and ready on the screen as if she had rehearsed trashing Mariah's character before she came out on stage. It was premeditated. That's why it pisses me off.

What's so funny is she gets most of her stories from tabloids and yet people regard it as fact. What's even funnier is that I watch her every day. What's funniest is that you all get so worked up over her? Can someone explain why, since MC probably pays her dust? No seriously. I want a reply on why she makes this message board mad when it is very clear she's basing things on her opinion and tabloids.

I just found out that NMW released a book about Whitney after her passing. Expectedly, there are a few references to Mariah. He supports that during his work with Mariah for her debut, she was "dying to hear the new recordings" that he had done with Whitney (for the "I'm Your Baby Tonight" album). She then asked "Is my stuff anywhere near as good as this?" He also stresses that both artists had their own distinct sound.

I agree that the hashtags are unnecessary, but if it wasn't for Stella, MC might not be posting at all. On the other hand, I would prefer MC to post herself, even if it was only once a month. It is what it is. I like the idea that someone had, for MC to have a separate "Team MC" account. Then Stella could post there, instead of on MC's personal account.
