I always said I enjoy the vacation and personal pictures and I was also one of the people who kept saying Mariah should up her Instagram game and post more about her glamorous life. What I don't enjoy are the hazy random throwbacks and the awful hashtags. Also like you said, I have said it many times before, we don't even have to get her own pictures, just post pictures of where you are laying around or what you are eating. She had the nerve to say something along of the lines of "Janet you are better than that, you are music royalty" and I am like, while I agree Janet is a legend in her own right, Mariah is also music royalty. Wendy literally just said that Janet is music royalty while Mariah is trashy. I don't really expect much from her though because she even trashes her own celeb "friends" or people who are her friends in her mind. She takes digs at JLo and other people who appeared on her show even though she calls them her friends. Wendy has gone from being a talk show host reporting current news to someone who makes up stories in their head and passes it off as facts. (Saturday 9 January 2016; 13:58)

Ellen will announce, "we have a surprise for the audience, you are all seeing Mariah in Vegas". It does bother me to see Mariah's random pics also. It's like I'm envious of her. I do wish Mariah would be more involved with her social media because that's the only way we can connect with her. For a woman who has her own lingo, I'm sure she can come up with brief and funny captions for her photos. I liked the whole "6th grade revisited" moment, because lambs would get that. But it's up to her with how much she wants to share, like she said, you have to give up a part of yourself in this business. Now I'm pissed (Wendy Williams foolishness) (58,994) by Marissa from USA So on today's episode of Wendy she addressed the rumors that Janet postponed some of her tour dates because she had throat cancer. She said that if the case was that Janet concocted a story or let the rumors go unchecked on purpose, that it wasn't a good look for her. She said that behavior like that from Mariah would be unsurprising. This b**** was practically insinuating that Mariah would string the public along and make them believe that she had cancer because she "loves drama". She believed that MC would do something like that, but she said Janet was "way better than that". And what is Mariah, chopped liver? I dare anyone on this board to provide an example of Mariah taking a rumor and running with it for the sole purpose of drama and attention seeking. Newsflash: you're not going to find anything. Ever since Stella took over Mariah's account, she has turned it into a joke with all the meaningless and childish hash tags, hazy unrelated old pictures and all that good stuff, something I don't picture Mariah doing at all. The picture (that I used in my avatar) has the hash tags "Rocky wants Swedish fish" and "Roe Roe wants sour candies". What the heck does it have to do with the picture? Then there is the uber impressive (not) "shake and bake" on the photo of her running. The random "Can't let go" with the Christmas presents picture and the list goes on and on. It's just annoying. By the way Stella, this wasn't the last time she went on the show, she was there to reveal a snippet of the "Infinity" music video. This post might be a foreshadowing of her appearing in the Ellen show soon, but "#glam" seriously? Celebs just usually post photos without all the stupid hashtags. Also enough with most of her pics having the "eternally 12" hashtag, or the "pon de" something hashtag. We get it, you know some "Mariahism", no need to put it everywhere. Re: Oh please, Adele? (58,980) (58,981) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter Deedre it's a good thing you brought up the fact that Mariah is a musical encyclopedia. A lot of her collaborators (writers and singers) have talked about how much Mariah knows about music and musicians and that they were blown away by her knowledge. But recently every time they ask her about who she is listening to at the moment, she mostly answers with "I listen to my own material". Except for the last time when she mentioned "The Weeknd". So her saying she only listens to her own material worries me a little because that kinda limits her to her previous work. I would want her to listen to some good current music not so that she jumps on a bandwagon but so that it inspires her to perhaps cook up something new and start a new trend in the process. Because fans have been begging her to think outside the box for a while and she did just that when she went ahead and collaborated with Miguel. I always have a greatest respect for Mariah because she is so hands on with her projects by being in control of writing, producing and singing of course, but I think it would be a change if once in a while she lets in other people to shake things up a little. Not asking her to completely give up control though, because I love me so Mimi writings. (Friday 8 January 2016; 22:15)

(Though I do agree about "Bad Blood" and "Into The Woods".) I absolutely love "You Are In Love" and would be so happy if that were a single. It wasn't included in the deluxe version of 1989 and was only made available to buy as a song a few months ago here, but the thing I love about the album is that it is another example of how pop music can not only be good music, but as we know from Mariah's catalog, lyrically intelligent and meaningful. I know some fans don't like other music or other artists being discussed here, but here's the thing, Mariah has admitted on several occasions, since the launch of her career being obsessed with music. She's a fan herself and is practically a musical encyclopedia genius. I think it only enriches discussion about music and where Mariah comes from as an artist writing and creating music. I certainly get not talking about other people 24/7, but most of the time if someone else is brought up, it is within the context of Mariah herself or music trends of the moment which to me makes interesting discussion. YDKWTD (58,978) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter Ugh so I listened to this song after a long time again and I can't deal with the pain that this song was ignored by Mariah. It's fire. This song with a good 70's inspired video and a few live performances would just blow everything up. Especially if she did it like the one live version she performed at the Today show. I am talking about the part at the end when she sings "You don't know what you do to me" and the back up singers follow suit and it just seems like a girl group chorus. It was perfect. I know a lot of people don't like Wale on the track, but I actually like his parts, I would just like his voice removed when Mariah is doing the acapella intro. The song reminds me of Fantasy for some reason. Another heartbreak that will forever upset me. Right up there with "The One", "Mine Again", "Migrate", "Side Effects", "E=MC2" in general, "Inseparable", "Betcha Gonna Know", "Faded", "Money" and "Thirsty". (Friday 8 January 2016; 19:26)

Granted we all know that Adele is a Grammy darling and Mariah isn't but going up against her would just not look good, because as much as we will want her to win, we wouldn't want another 1996 happening.
