Outtake vocals (81,300)

New outtake vocals from the original version of O Holy Night have surfaced here. Imagine just how many vocals from this vocally amazing era are out there just waiting to see the light of day.

When I rise to power, anyone who tweets to someone who is dead or joins a hastag movement without aforethought will be first against the wall. And every single country would have to pick a Mariah song as their national anthem. But I would nominate Belgium to get "I Dont", les Pays Bas to get "Infuhmuzz" and the United States to get "Infinity". Because the Americans doing the end high note at the Superbowl would be totes amaze. Kneel or stand, that ain't coming out good. And the Olympics would be a Mariah fest. The United Kingdom can have "The Art of Letting Go". For shits and giggles.

I'm with Andrew. I can't abide all this hashtag bandwagon jumping virtue signalling. They'll forget about it tomorrow, if indeed they actually care or agree today. What I've noticed though is that the celebs who don't jump on the bandwagons and tweet their "thoughts and prayers" (is there anything more offensive than someone having a "look at me" moment and tweeting their condolences?) are attacked mercilessly by the media and twitterati. SO I guess now the PR person just tweets a standard thing for every SJW issue that comes along, ever. Seriously, if you care about something, get off your arse, get off twitter and do something... anything except tweet about it.

I don't think it's bitter. The very fact that she has never discussed the Grammy situation like this before means that she's let go of the bitterness. She sounds very relaxed and confident, mature and hip. I have great hopes from her contract with Roc Nation. We may never see another hit, but we can at least expect quality music from her in the near future.

Me Myself and Mariah (81,289)
by Terna from Nigeria

That was an interesting article. And yes she seems genuinely happy and confident in herself it reflects through the way she answers the questions. It's also obvious she's experienced in the industry, but has also moved with the times, the way she compares the current state as to how things used to be. And I love how she low-key shaded the Grammys. Lol. Mariah's back and I'm loving this Mariah. I'm quite excited about what she has in store. That album is gonna drop sooner than we think. Did I mention that I love the magazine cover? Just beautiful.

Really? I don't really feel like she mentioned a lot about music. And she seems bitter about a lot of things. Rightfully so, probably, but not sure it's a good idea to let it out like this. Whatever, we'll see what happens with this hypothetical new album.

I agree. This was an awesome article. I still can't make myself get too excited for the new music until it actually materializes, but I can say that from this article it seems that she's really focusing on creating great music again and for that I am grateful.

V Magazine / Childish Gambino (81,283)
by RibbonB from USA

I'm so glad she mentioned Childish Bambino. I have suggested him a couple of times here on this board. I hope she will be collaborating with him and his musical team. I am glad she realizes she needs a different approach, but she rambled on so much about fashion, I can't be sure. Here is hoping that she gets down to business and makes some good music.

What a great article. I love it when Mariah talks about music and songwriting like she did here. Interesting to see her potentially taking a new approach to her new album. This has me very excited and hopeful for a positive, necessary change. Emerge from the cocoon.

Andrew dahling, I love opinionated people with brains like you and I am an advocate for freedom of speech. I can't help but notice that you like to be a wee bit provocative by stirring things up with ill considered statements that only after retaliation from other members receive a decent elucidation. You are what we describe in Antwerp as an "allumeur". Naughty, naughty...
