Re: Tarkan at Baku (76,678) (76,683) by Edouard from France
The show in Baku wasn't all about her, there were other singers. I think she should sing less so she can sound her best throughout the 3 to 4 songs she chooses to sing, that's it. In Baku, ABMBB, My All and Emotions were quite good.

Act your age MC (76,682) by BLEUX ROGUE from U. S. A.
She looks stupid and ridiculous in this number 1 outfit. She's 20 years and 40 lbs too late. Embarrassed for her. Remember when she used to be a great singer? I'm convinced this is a case of The Body Snatchers.

Eric, I think you didn't really quite get what he was trying to say, remember he's from France and sometimes his posts don't come across as he intends them to. I've been taking up some French classes and this is what he was trying to say: Mariah should spread a 15-song concert over five days. She would sing three songs per night and go home, rest her voice, make sure her husband Stella has eaten, and stuff, then she would return next day to sing three more songs and so forth until five days have gone by and she would be done. The fans would also go home and appreciate she's doing it so they could have a better experience and value for their money. You may be the Webmaster, but I think sometimes you're so touchy. You should be happy Mariah sang "Thanks For Nothing" and sounded just like the CD, impressive. And if you can't be optimistic after that bodysuit, I'm sorry for you.

"I think she should do shorter sets. Like a 3 songs show so she can make sure she sounds the best." What really upsets me is that you're serious about this. If you were being ironic, I could laugh about it. But you really want to pay money for a show where Mariah only sings three songs? And after every song she takes an half hour off, so she can rest her voice and drink some tea with honey? Sometimes I admire you. No matter how many terrible shows Mariah gives, you're always optimistic. I've lost my optimism years ago, and to protect myself from further disappointments, I never watch her recent shows on YouTube of go to a live concert.

Tamar at BET (76,677) by RibbonB from USA
Tamar lipped for her life and managed to toss her bewigged head around for all it was worth. I almost wished her platinum wig flew off for the culture. It is amazing, that neither the sound, nor her ears didn't fail her. She gave a flawless over the top campy, fully lipped extravaganza and got a standing ovation for it. Who would have thought?

I mentioned pregnancy a couple of months ago and got shaded for body shaming, when I really think the teen is acting like she is pregnant and trying to hide it.

The show is simple, stars just make an appearance like MC Hammer did the other week. The show is simply about contestants guessing song titles based in themes.

I totally agree. Every time MC is in Paris, she looks classy. Must be something about being in the City of Lights. Amazing what covering up and being in clothes that fit you properly can do. I hope she doesn't come home and resort back to the blonde Stella.

Well in an interview Jamie Foxx says he didn't want her to sing because at this point why should she have to prove anything. I believe he's right. Starts at 10'25.

Tarkan at Baku (76,669) by Edouard from France
His whole set was predominently sung over a backing track. Mariah's voice is there. I think she should do shorter sets. Like a 3 songs show so she can make sure she sounds the best. Fatigue and airplanes are not good for the voice.

To say Mariah needs a man to be the Mariah we love is just plain stupid. You obviously know nothing about this woman. I'm sorry but it's just the truth.

Re: Mariah crying while singing (76,665) (76,667) by MusicfanJ from Germany
Honestly if this is true I wouldn't be surprised. Something is so wrong. We can't look behind closed doors and so on but I do believe that Mariah isn't feeling very well. I don't want to speculate about possible reasons but one thing is clear: her circus is hiding "messages" from fans and other people. It seems like Mariah is "caged" again. While her first marriage it was Tommy who wanted full control, now it's even worse because the new controlling is taking damage on many levels. Maybe she realizes it or can't hide any more how she really feels. The diva persona was always there to protect the person Mariah, she's a very sensitive and emotional woman. That can be a dangerous thing in showbiz.

Jamie Foxx show (76,666) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
So here's a quote: "Mariah Carey almost turned down the offer because she didn't want to come on the music game show and have to sing" which is from an article about Mariah's appearance on Beats Shazam or whatever that show is called. So Mariah almost turned it down because she thought she might have to sing, are these people dumb? How can they put a reality star and socialite on the line like that? It's not like she's primarily a singer, oh wait she is. Seriously though, I'm concerned about what on earth Mariah and her team are doing.

Mariah crying while singing (76,665) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
So I'm not completely sure about the details but I'm hearing several rumors about Mariah crying either during the F1 concert or after and it has been all over instagram. Lambs have been saying that their comments of support and comments talking about how she was crying are being actively deleted by her team, which is Stella and Mishka. Again, disclaimer. I'm not sure about this so I can't provide receipts. RibbonB did you hear anything?

Re: Could we all be part of another metamorphosis? (76,660) (76,664) by Butterfly from
Mariah is nothing with a good team. Yes, Mariah has the talent but talent isn't enough. She knows nothing about the business, no taste and doesn't know anything about quality and how to present herself. In her career she had 2 important people, Tommy and Benny. Compare the years with and without them. No discipline and no respect for the people who come to see her live. I saw a sad, mopey, no energy in a clown costume singing very bad and the audience was not feeling her. Her reputation is destroyed and she has done it all by herself. Hiring a clown manager who knows nothing about the business and is only interested in making money and getting famous. If she thinks Stella gives a rat ass about her she in for a big shock. And a guest on someone else tour? How low can you go? If Austria and Baku is what people are getting she'll get booed of stage by Lionel Richie's fans. Good riddance. I said it before Mariah's attitude towards artists is very bad. Yesterday, she took a shot at Taylor Swift's Shake It Off. Saying mine was first in her big ego voice. Christina Aguilera and Eminem Beautiful was first too. Beyonce and Justin Bieber had the same title Sorry in the same year. Grow the hell up, big baby.

Stella's empowering talk on Instagram is just to make herself feel better about her bad parenting. She wants to be the next Kris Jenner and her daughters. Not going to happen though.

Re: Mishka still holding out jacket (76,649) (76,662) by Susana from USA
Yes, I would assume so. I mean why in all pictures in recent months is every pose with a jacket being held that way, or an object or person conveniently hiding that region. Perhaps she doesn't want body shamers, if it is not pregnancy. It's like when they film a part in a movie or tv show where the character isn't supposed to be pregnant they do the very same thing. I guess empowering your girls at 13-14 brings this? For her and the potential child's sake, I hope not.

Daydream Interlude (76,661) by 90sMariah from SG
I've said it before and I will say it again: this person is the best person to interpret all of Mariah's songs. Others try, but they can't touch this lamb's dedication and natural singing prowess. Lamb is sounding more and more like Mariah as time passes. I it.

Re: Could we all be part of another metamorphosis? (76,657) (76,660) by Edward from USA
The difference is that back in 1997 Mariah morphed from her "Little Goody Two-Shoes" image into a sexy, never trashy, and talented sexy butterfly. She changed her looks, but her music was still strong and spoke to people. She alienated some fans, but gained others. What really kept her afloat was her music because the woman poured her soul into it, vocally and lyrically. Now, Mariah "ain't no" spring chicken anymore. Her looks are mostly awful, the music is not priority anymore, her voice is still declining, and no, a 3-year vocal rest won't get it back to where it was, and I'm not expecting that either. This new generation won't keep Mariah, as talented singer/songwriter afloat if Mariah is not delivering a product worth buying/consuming. Mariah's name is being kept afloat, but based on what? Based on obviously scripted reality TV, planting stories, lies, endorsement deals, questionable behavior, and awful performances. I wouldn't mind the diva behavior as long as she could stand in front of a mike and sing for her life at least one song every once in a blue moon, but that's rarely the case. Attitude really matters, Christina attitude killed her career. Adele could be overweight, underweight or whatever, but the woman delivers when she has to, and her attitude? Well, being humble and not believing your own hype works. The woman thinks Mariah should be in the Bible, yet Mariah said she never heard "Hello".

Throwing in the towel (76,659) by 90sMariah from SG
I think it's time for her to retire herself from major/huge public performance and just record albums for now. The energetic, fun, vocally agile Mariah that I enjoyed watching back in the day is gone. All that's left is a shell of her unrecognisable self. What do you think early 90s Mariah would say if she saw her future self performing as sadly as she does now? I think she'd be broken. If a public performance is unavoidable, I suggest she should do a Celine and pre-record her vocals, practice lip-synching the songs down to the very last phrasing until her lips are believably synced with the tracks. It's the only way. That way she could salvage whatever is left of her voice and heal. It may not be back to 100%, but at least it could be 10x better than what she has been showing lately. I cringed watching her Baku performance. She was constantly straining to reach the notes and her tone is completely effed up. For someone who is a self-confessed perfectionist she sure doesn't show it in her performances. Heal, Mariah, heal.
