Lol, and the thing is Stellar and her crew want people talking about it and will likely do more and more desperate things to get people talking or buzzing more and more. We have seen it as we are getting close to the air date. I am just hoping she has a scandal free trip and concert to Hawaii, but my lamb sense tells me Stellar and team intend to ratchet up the ratchet through the air date. But anyway, I dusted off E=MC2 last night. TMB and Cruise Control still knock.

Like I said, this isn't a Nick board, so I'm not trying to bring him up or his indiscretions, but I will discuss him if others bring him up. And he isn't keeping himself in the blogs daily like Mariah and her team seem to be with their reality show promotion. But if you want to go in about his dates, etc. etc. feel free, the point is he has moved on and so has Mariah. The discussions about Mariah are about her being engaged to one man, but acting like she is dating another man who works for her. Trust me, the rest of the world who watches Mariah's World will be talking about it too and that is what her team seems to want.

Mariah would be not want a body double because she'd feel threatened haha, sorry don't kill me. But the woman basically said "Why would I have girls up on stage with me?" But jokes aside the reason she looks so different in the meet and greet and concerts because she wears much more harsh make up because of the stage lights and production and picks the ugliest wigs. So that's why she looks less like herself, but while when she's out and about, she goes for much natural makeup and her real hair so she looks quite different. She had this harsh makeup streak earlier this year because she was filming the reality show and with all the lights and all she went for harsh makeup that's why during the candids during that time her face and hair looked quite harsh but in the promos they look more normal.

Mariah's clone (68,506)
by Danny from Uk

This is gonna sound so out there but does Mariah have a body/face double? Looking at recent photos like the awkward Mexico meet and greet and compare that to the one last night dressed in camouflage. Sometimes she looks almost like it's a stand in then other times she looks herself. It's odd. I mean she's always beautiful to me but I wouldn't even know what her real hair is anymore. Sometimes I wonder if it's the same person.

Re: Article: Mariah Carey recording breakup album after split (68,476) (68,505)
by this_is_qhm from the Philippines

I see where Andrew's coming from with this. There is no doubt Mariah can write one hell of a breakup album, but the problem is that her image has been so trashed in the past few years for the public to actually pay attention to her detailing her relationship problems. She is becoming less and less of a believable source for this information and this type of material right now. If Mariah comes out with a fun, upbeat party album, it will still be criticized for being too detached from reality, and that's fine. Her relationship with her kids aside, that's how she is right now anyway - out of touch and soon out of time if she doesn't get her crap together stat.

This is exactly the kind of behavior that reinforces the burgeoning notion that she can't sing anymore. Also the kind of behavior, sadly, that defines Mariah Carey these days. Now it's all just smoke and mirrors. And boobs. And tacky antics and questionable clothing choices. And even more boobs. When you're one of the world's biggest music stars and people can only talk about your music by referencing your past glories and almost none of your recent offerings, that only goes to show how far you've fallen, or at least how out-of-touch you have been. But when you're the same Mariah Carey who miraculously pulled off possibly the most impressive comeback for a female artist in music history, people know better than to write you off so quickly. That is, not unless you let them. Come back, Mariah, I know you're still in there somewhere.

Yep I was referring to your post and you are totally glossing over Nick's mess. If you're gonna point out Mariah's imperfections and get her together on here, then don't go easy on Nick's. It truly shows the bias you and a couple other lambs on here have towards him. I don't care what year it is. Having children out of wedlock with no intention of being a family unit with the mother will always be a bad look. I root for Nick as a father and for him and MC to continue to be great co parents and friends; so definitely not a Nick hater or blame him for everything that's wrong in MC's life. Just saying he needs to be held just as accountable for his screw ups as well. Instead I see him always being defended for his poor actions while MC is constantly catching all types of hell. Be fair.

Hi I'm so happy someone is actually speaking up of the so called "lambs" here. [...] so many of [...] are [censored] in reality. First of all if we talk about Mariah's voice. Who the [censored] cares that she [...] sound like she used to. I truly [...] she is still on the greatest singers of all time. Her last album confirms that, for the [censored] fans saying it's studio magic, her Vegas shows have showed that she can replicate that magic [...]. Second of all bye bye to the [censored] saying the ain't watching Mariah's World, like we need [...] (btw it looks so good, much better than I ever expected or hoped for), Mariah has got so much great buzz from all over the world and non fans. So many of my friends who don't even love Mariah at all, have watched the trailer and said they are actually excited. I for sure know I will [...] support her, not just when she has her [...]. Third is I'm so sick of hearing complaints of that Mariah ain't who she used to be, If I quote her (they never know the real me). I'm so happy for Mariah to actually live her life to the fullest. Sometimes I do wonder if Tommy Motolla (hehe probably wrote it wrong) has made several accounts here just to hate. I have been going over twitter for the last month, people are really excited for all of her upcoming projects and not just the fans. Women and girls all over the world are writing about MAC and how they want every [...]. I'm happy that Mariah is focusing on so many other things than music. Although I do hope and almost sure we will have that next year, hopefully with some good promo (that seems to be the only thing lacking) but seeing how she really is stepping up for the promo, gives me hope for [...] planned promo for the music too. Anyways I'm not gonna write a book here (although I could), I will be checking for this site as usual but I will actually start putting you on your places too. Ps: [...] say [...] want the best for our girl Mariah but write about the positive things (like how hard she is working, it's been a few years seeing Mariah taking so many projects at one time and actually promoting it), but no I just wanna tear her apart. Good luck.

Makeup collection (68,499)
by Lila from United States
| |
|

I am quite excited for the new makeup collection. Many of the professional makeup artists have been sent the products ahead of time and all of the swatches they've done look amazing, as does the packaging. I do love makeup though. I'm cool with non-music endeavors as long as they're constructive and don't include vodka or butterfly water. Mariah loves beauty products. Since she wants to make more money, she could develop her own independent makeup line. She loves lingerie, so instead of flashing us hers she could do her own lingerie brand, a serious one. She has so many avenues open to her, she could make so many things happen with tenacity and hard work. Heck, she loves diamonds so much, she could've done her own jewelry collection. So many options.

After following this message board for a few months I can't even believe how much hate is on here. First off the [censored] you all get into about her personal business is so out there it's ridiculous. Let the woman breathe. Fans are supposed to be here for the music, attend some shows and just love her for the artist that she is. You all sit here and make fun of one another and then focus on any bad "press" and any other [censored] that you think you know about. You all don't know [censored].

Wow with big fans like you as well as many others who have said recently that they are calling it quits with Mariah or considering to just not bother with her new work, it really seems like her career is suffering a major blow. This is what I was scared of. Mariah is isolating what's left of her fan base and she has gone from this girl who didn't fit in and people could relate to, to this over the top, extra dramatic, diva. It's like the image she created has swallowed her and now she is nothing but materialistic stuff. It honestly is sad because I could always proudly say how Mariah is above these publicity stunts, and nip slips and fake relationship crap that all the other celebs need and I was happy that she managed to be so successful based solely off her talent. She didn't need gimmicks, she didn't need dancers and lights to distract people. All she had to do was get on stage and sing her heart out. How times have changed. With James finally leaving, now Mariah has no one around her except for people on her pay roll. Her kids are young so they can't guide her. But right now, she has nothing but vultures around her who will feed her ego while they get their money and the lifestyle. But it's also true that no matter how much I blame Stella, it was Mariah's decision to hire her. Maybe we just have to accept that this is what Mariah wants, because no one can tell me that a woman with 26+ years experience in the show business and having seen it all (professionally and personally) would fail to make a decision about who to hire as a manager. Like she wouldn't hire Stella, a reality show producer with zero management experience, to run the career of her, a singer, if that's not what she wanted. Maybe this is what she wants, but she finds it easier to blame the team with her "oh I didn't wanna do it, my team kinda made me do the show" thing. Hard to accept but oh well.

Mariah, it's one line, just sing it (68,488)
by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
| |
|
|
I swear sometimes Mariah can be so extra, like in this snap chat clip. Why can't she just sing 1 line? She didn't even have to sing a whole line, only "Is You". Yet she pulls the "oh honey I'm not singing today dahlin'". Like why the heck not? You're a professional singer. I have defended her saying these in the past during interviews because I thought that it was understandable that she may be nervous to not sounding perfect (since she is called the songbird supreme), and hence she feels like she has to always sound perfect. But this was literally 2 freaking words. She didn't even have to sing, just say the words. Yet she pulls this card. Like what are you so scared about? And it isn't like she was on vocal rest because she was having a press day during this time.
