Tmz (65,292) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
So now Cali airport is also done with the boob out era. But what poster are they talking about? Did she shoot a new ad for Vegas?

Re: Faded (65,286) (65,291) by RibbonB from USA
Yasssss to all the Faded love. Lol. The song is operatic. Wish the instruments were the real thing. I imagine the Tympani drums pounding at the outro with the strings and wind instruments while Mariah is singing her heart out in this aria of frustration and fading hope. *sigh* Why did she have to be texting in the beginning though? Lol.

Awww, well G. You're always loving some song, but you're not there for mine. Ha ha. Until Hozier then.

Re: Faded (65,277) (65,289) by Mirage_Nunez from America
I still can't get enough of Faded and Cry. It's the perfect "back to back" for me and it usually takes me awhile to get past that point on the cd from constantly repeating (I have to listen to these particular songs atleast three times before letting the rest of the cd play through). And I'm sorry I love "Vanishing" it's one of my most favorite gems in her archive, it's a beatifful vocal masterpiece etc, but for me "Cry"is more raw and heartfelt. I feel all types of emotions and heart strings being pulled when I listen to Cry. It has to be one of her most emotionally soulful tracks to date or dare I say her most soulful tracks yet.

Re: Me I Am Mariah (65,223) (65,288) by 90sMariah from SG
This is the only album of hers that I only listened to twice (each song); TAOLG (more than 10x), because the songs were sub-par, the vocals were over-engineered to the point that she was screeching. I hate this album. Also, the vocal arrangement for One More Try was cringe-inducing and corny. Moreover, she does not sing that high anymore, so let's be real.

Unless Tony Bennett was rapping on "Honey" and I hadn't noticed, their duet is called "When Do The Bells Ring For Me, Ring For Me".

Re: Faded (65,277) (65,286) by darrian liu from taiwan
Oh yes. Faded was the first song that sticks in my head from MIAM. It's a beautiful song, I love the pretty layers and the vocals there are so nuanced. But the moment that first whistle note came out, it was a vocal explosion. Amazing.

I meant for her album.

Mariah already did a song with Tony Bennett: Honey.

Re: Faded is her hit (65,283) by Sheila from United States
Mariah gives [...] no love. Faded is her most radio friendly song since [...]. Faded and [..] are the most heartfelt songs on the cd. Faded is almost her screaming to Nick, you're always somewhere but not there for me, me, me (Nick was everywhere doing little of nothing). Adore adore adore Faded.

Re: Faded (65,277) (65,282) by Giovanni from USA
Nope, hate it sorry. I enjoy "Make it look good", "Dedicated" and "The art of letting go" much more.

Re: Faded (65,277) (65,280) (65,281) by Haiji Toro from USA
Licia, I have to agree with you. Camouflage and Cry were both good songs but absolutely boring to me. Every time I hear them, I'd rather listen to Vanishing. I feel that if it has been done once, and done amazingly as Vanishing, then don't try to recreate it. The same goes to Stay In Love (WBT #2). I cannot express how much I love Faded though. My favorite song on that whole album. And I also have to agree with RibbonB, Ribbon was my favorite off of that album. I do enjoy the remix as well, I'm just mad they took out certain ad-libs that made the song what it was.

Re: Faded (65,277) (65,280) by Licia from USA
I love Faded. Faded to me is the realist song on MIAM. I also would have preferred Faded as a single rather than You're Mine. For some reason I was drawn to Faded more than Camouflage and Cry. Neither of those songs did anything for me. Faded, One More Try, Supernatural, Beautiful and Heavenly are about the only songs I still listen to on MIAM.

She does. They are both so adorable. Absolutely precious babies. I do want to see some of their moments from MW. It's all about them for me and that show, although I hope their time is kept to a minimum.

Re: Moving on to a lighter subject (65,274) (65,278) by Licia from USA
I feel the same way. I hope they can cut that boobie stuff off before he goes to school talking about boobies. It's funny until he says it at the wrong time in the wrong place. Yes Roc is adorable. Roe kills me with her sweet little smoker's voice. She sounds like she smokes a pack a day. Lol.

Faded (65,277) by RibbonB from USA
I absolutely love this song from MIAM. This should have been the lead in instead of You're Mine Eternal. This song has so many layers and the vocals are killer, especially the last 30 seconds. Mariah outdid herself on this one. It rivals Ribbon from Memoirs, in intensity and emotion, but they are two extremes from the same coin IMO. Where Ribbon is ecstatic, Faded is exhausted, Like a Faded Ribbon, awwwww. To these type of writing and vocals I say, yasss queen all day. Now Giovanni I hope you love Faded too so we can reaffirm our friendship. Lol.

Re: This is what you came for (65,271) (65,276) by Musti from UK
It is catchy indeed and I was sure it would be #1. But I think her team diluted the song's potential by having too many Rihanna singles out there at the same time. When Work was #1, this song was already out along with Needed Me and Kiss It Better. And now there's also the song from Drake's album. Too much? Still, it's a hot song and things might change. Hopefully not.

Re: This is what you came for (65,243) (65,275) by darrian liu from taiwan
I'd say the next no. 1 would be Justin's Cold Water. It's no. 3 on iTunes, and just two weeks in, it's already at no. 13 on Radio Songs. We all know how Beliebers support Justin and once the song reaches the top 10 of Radio Songs, it will shoot up to no. 1.

Re: Moving on to a lighter subject (65,266) (65,274) by RibbonB from USA
Yeah I saw that last week and they are so adorable. They might want to break them of the boobie chatter. It was cute, but inappropriate. Roc is adorable though.

Re: Me I Am Mariah (65,256) (65,273) by Giovanni from USA
You're always negative so it's no surprise you'd have nothing but negative things to say about one particular song from Mariah.

Re: Me I Am Mariah (65,267) (65,272) by RibbonB from USA
Lol welp, we will never agree on AOLG but I accept and appreciate your opinions. AOLG and Angel's Cry are on the same level of shouting out emotions vs. a more nuanced telling of pain and hurt. But I guess she feels that way sometimes. I be like, skip, zip to the next song. I guess it is that way for all of us, but the songs vary person to person. Mine Again is my jam though, doesn't even compare to AOLG and Joy Ride is sublime. I could go on and on dragging your song just for fun but I will stop. Just having fun with you, but I mean it though. Lol.

Re: This is what you came for (65,261) (65,271) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
I was hoping Justin Bieber would step in again and help Mariah haha. He has 2 new songs out so I was hoping one of them would just go to #1. Or at least for Sia to stay there long enough for Rihanna to drop. What's scary is though this song by Rihanna and Calvin is actually quite catchy and may be on the charts for a while.

She is, she met up with her during her Sweden stop and then Josefin went along with Mariah for a few stops after that during the SSFT.

B from USA (65,268) by Giovanni from USA
I find it funny how you changed your feelings for "The art of letting go" when before you also stated that it was one of Mariah's personal songs lol. Never before did you ever speak of it in a negative way. Now it's "wordy" and disjointed"? What happened B?
