Baby doll (66,756) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City)
This was another track I love from Butterfly. I love the Mariah/Missy writing chemistry and Stevie J and Mariah did their thing on production front.

Infamous (66,754) by Malcolm from Asia
Let's all support song. I'm not saying let's all aim that 19th #1 again, because honestly for now, I'm happy for her to just crack the top 20 or top 40 because it'll be a good introduction for the upcoming singles/album. So yeah, let's all purchase the song on iTunes or stream it on Spotify.

Mariah actually co-wrote Imperfect with Nick Cannon, if I recall correctly, so go figure. Lol.

Nick just got slammed with the ultimate Mariah dis (66,752) by B from USA
Nick is the creator, host, and producer of this series so why does he allow Mariah to be mentioned? Why hasn't (and why didn't) he made if clear that she's off limits. He's painfully unfunny. I cringe every time he opens his mouth.

Re: Babydoll nuances (66,738) (66,751) by B from USA
Those ad libs are everything. Yes, she does sing "you can ring my bell".

I would also like for Mariah to work with Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis again.

Re: Music Box (66,742) (66,747) by MusicfanJ from Germany
Yes it was a crime. I discovered "Do you think of me" late because I didn't know this song exists. This song is pure Mariah at her best.

Re: Babydoll nuances (66,743) (66,746) by Bill from the UK
Thank you for replying. I noticed because I listened to Ring My Bell earlier in the day and then when playing through Butterfly later it went straight into my brain because Mariah sang that line in the same melody. It's cool because it links back to her checking her phone at the beginning of the phone.

Re: Sky Diving (The Roof Pt 2) (66,705) (66,745) by Terna from Nigeria
You love UOMF? I skip it everytime. It sounds like something Nick Cannon wrote. Lol. And yeah I love Imperfect too. I feel like with that album, she should've worked with more producers instead of just the Dream and Tricky. Speaking of producers and music production, I want something from Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis but an updated sound, Dark Child, Hit Boy, Kanye West, Mike Will and more Jermaine Dupri without any hollering whatsoever. Then a little trap jam, hit Metro boomin for that.

You can find it with the spelling "Lambitivity".

That's one of my favorites from the Butterfly album. Yes she does say you can ring my bell. As many times as I've listened to that song I never caught that. The only thing I really caught with this song is that Missy Elliott produced it.

Let's face it - leaving off Do You Think of Me from Music Box was a crime on its own.

Re: Mariah's meet and greet disaster (66,726) (66,741) by MusicfanJ from Germany
I know nothing about that "fan" but when he is so sweet, why is be "banned" from the meet and greet? And why was that one completely canceled? I'm not jealous but what I read sounds strange. And I really feel for the fans who were disappointed because of cancelling.

Re: Article: Mariah Carey and kids get glam (66,736) (66,740) by Malcolm from Asia
If Mariah/her team will just post photos like this, or this, or this instead of that disastrous and shameful editing (excuse the cuteness of the twins), it could've been better and beautiful for her social media accounts.

Re: Article: Mariah Carey and kids get glam (66,736) (66,739) by Sheila from United States
Her meet and greet photos are so pretty and they are not touched up, why do they continue to airbrush her so harshly when she really does not need it? Now Stella is the one who needs to be airbrushed, she looks old and hard.

Babydoll nuances (66,738) by Bill from the UK
Listening to Babydoll. Love the ad libs at the end ("it's 3:27" etc). Am I right in thinking she lapses into a little bit of Anita Ward at 4:41? It sounds like she mumurs "you can ring my bell, ring my bell" like Anita's song. What do you think?

That is a horrible pic. I'm very surprised she let that one get posted anywhere. The kids are adorable as usual.

Re: Mariah's meet and greet disaster (66,726) (66,735) by Andrew from UK
So Mariah has to cancel the pocket change meet and greets from the fans who have to save up and spend all of their money on a few seconds of a photograph? Camp Mariah indeed. Such a giving person. Poor Mariah. What nonsense. The creator of this website gets no time with her because he won't hand over money. And she tried to take it by force. Those who cling onto the idea that Mariah considers herself an artist and not an account are mad.

Memoirs era interview (66,734) by RibbonB from USA
Here is that interview I mentioned. I can't stand the interviewer, but it was a fun and informative interview nevertheless. Mariah looked so pretty and more natural at that time. She was still giving lots of diva, but much more cool with it. Midway through she talks about some of the songwriting and she mentions the infamous remixes to Angels Advocate. I wish they had just worked on making the songs for the project their very best and promoting them to their fullest rather than planning a remix project concurrently, which was really just adding a few other names to the tracks.

Re: Mariah's meet and greet disaster-nadia (66,733) by Ty from USA
Hello lambs. I was there, he's a nice guy but he broke the rules and security stepped to him - it was intense. Those "moments" he has is because he has paid for them and he emails Mariah's people faithfully. He paid thousands for those "moments" and he has worked hard. We all we're worried her security team was gonna hurt him. Mariah was taking pictures at the time and trying to get back to James' birthday party.

Article: Mariah Carey and kids get glam (66,732) by RibbonB from USA
Cute pic, but Mariah's face looks distorted to the extreme. I don't get why they used this particular shot, or filtered it so much.

Re: Memoirs (66,705) (66,731) by RibbonB from USA
Mimi L. I love Up Out My Face and the reprise, hahah. Both are so fun. The Mariah and Nicki moments were so cute and animated. Their "BFFness" didn't last long and turned into the "Idol fiasco", which is doubly sad. Imperfect was such an imperfect song though, maybe if they had polished it up with a nice guitar, vs. the weak keyboards I remember it having. I was just watching the old interview where Mariah discussed the writing on Memoirs. The interviewer asked her about Betcha Gon' Know and she said it was just based on note snippets and not on any particular person and she said she had some very mean co-writers with active imaginations, to paraphrase. I think we got a lot of The Dream's personality and type of petty on that project, lol. Memoirs might have been a sort of ramshackle pre-Lemonade of unfactual, facts and what nots.

Re: Mariah's meet and greet disaster (66,726) (66,730) by RibbonB from USA
Oh well, people can just use that meet and greet money to pay for the holidays or whatever their other priorities are. Maybe folks will find out what happened on Mariah's World. That may, or may not make for intriguing TV.

Re: Mariah's meet and greet disaster (66,726) (66,728) by Bobby from Usa
Literally all his posts clearly show how much Mariah loves him. Literally she calls him out every single show. I'm looking at the facts as we speak. You just sound bitter and jealous. It's actually disgusting how you could project all this hate on him, he is beautiful and nice. You clearly have no idea what you're talking about. Clearly you just have an issue with jealously or something. If you go to his page, you could see how much love Mariah has for this kid. If she was a bit scared of him why would she bend down and sing to him? Why would she shout his name out and where he's from at every single show? It's clear to see at his page. But the negativity and hate you are projecting just seems like you're jealous. That's what it looks like.
