Re: Alison (65,697) (65,727) by Malcolm from Asia
I agree. We can make assumptions all we want but at the end of the day, we doesn't really know Mariah that much to make claims that she doesn't care for her family whatsoever. I just think the reason why Mariah was little bit odd and disconnected on the first day of her 5th leg in Vegas was maybe because of Allison. Maybe she heard the news that Allison got arrested and felt sad and disappointed about it. But yeah, maybe not.

Excuses, excuses (65,726) by Giovanni from USA
It's really funny how certain lambs want to defend Mariah's awful, tacky ensembles and pictures with the same tired excuses. "She's just having fun" or "Why can't she still be sexy at 46?" There's a limit you know. There's a difference between sexy with class and sexy with trash. Those instagram pictures are terrible. I couldn't believe what I saw. Mariah is trying way too hard and it's just making her look bad. I'm all for defending her when it comes to her voice, but when it comes to her over the top sexiness I won't. Cover up and dress your age for God sakes. No one wants to see a near 50 year old woman still trying to show her assets. It's embarrassing. And if this comes off as "sexist" I don't care.

Re: C'mon people (65,718) (65,725) by Giovanni from USA
Well it isn't the "Butterfly" era anymore. Mariah is 46 years old now. She can't pull of some of the things she pulled off when she was younger. Beyonce is 34 so she can get away with a lot of things a 46 year old can't get away with. Mariah can't accept the fact that she's aging. She wants to still continue being sexy and it comes off as thirsty, desperate and tacky. She tries way too hard that it's embarrassing. Those instagram pictures are a hot mess. From the hair, to the make up, to the hideous ensemble, to the overly sexy pose. The whole look screams Beyonce.

Re: Meet and greet mess (65,703) (65,724) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
But people pay over $2000 for the same 10 second meet and greet with Selena Gomez and she isn't even talented. Justin Bieber also charged over $2000 for his meet and greets and then cancelled it without any promise of refunds. So compared to that Mariah's 750$ is quite tame especially considering the fact that she is basically a living legend. I understand that it's disappointing for fans when it got cancelled. But at least they were given the amount back. As for the ass cheek pictures, I don't know why that was necessary and neither do I understand the need for her to constantly be in bodysuits now. It's always either bodysuits or lace bras. The bodysuits was cute for the "Honey" performance and so was the first one she wore for the SSFT. But now it's like she is always in it.

Re: Boobies and butts and turbans era (65,717) (65,723) by Licia from USA
So he's actually attending? I thought he was just going there to speak. Good for him. I'm really sick of him and that turban and I'm totally ignoring Mariah and her butt cheeks lol. Second thought let me just say that I can't fully blame Mishka for this. Mariah is the boss therefore she has approved this and is ok with it. Quite frankly I'm over it. I have no problem with her being sexy, but ass shots are not sexy and this borders on Instagram video hoe (yes I went there). I'm with Marissa on the respect thing. You cry about not being respected yet you allow this kind of representation for yourself and you act like you can't understand why you are less respected than other artists.

Re: Boobies and butts and turbans era (65,717) (65,721) by 123 from USA
So this whole bra era I thought was just Mariah trying to make another trend happen a la low ride jeans in the Heartbreaker video. Why did I see a commercial for bralettes and the models are all wearing them under little jackets etc saying they would "totally wear" them to a party. "This is my everyday outfit." Watch this. I'm like, so this is really a thing? Did you see Debbie Allen's response as to why he went back to school? Debbie is very quick witted, I love her shade. Lol. "Butterfly was a handful, she was the garden and he was the gardner." Watch this.

Re: R-E-S-P-E-C-T, stop being petty (65,713) (65,720) by RibbonB from USA
Mariah is playing to the "petty" crowd though. The reality tv, pay for emojis and IG, snap chat crowd or something. Lol. Many of those people love the shallow and outrageous behavior. For that crowd, the messier the better, so they will not encourage anyone to "save" her. Things may change, but probably not soon. Those same people hating on your petition efforts now, will probably be her fiercest opponents when and if she gets back to her normal more private self. She is feeding the hand that bites her for some reason.

Re: C'mon people (65,718) (65,719) by Edward from USA
Edouard, I do really think you must be on crack not to see what's going here. It's not only the desperate skimpy outfits, but the image she projects with her obsessive photo-shopping to make her look a certain way we all know it's not true, it's evident and obvious. And please do not compare the sexy Mariah from the Butterfly era to the this "look at me I'm sexy, don't you really see, with my humps, my loverly lady bums" trash. It's cheapening her. She doesn't need that. A fan is supposed to be supportive, but not ridiculously go with the flow and justify every ridiculous thing his/her idol might do. When Mariah releases some great music and her image is so damaged people won't give two shits about her, I'm pretty sure you'll have J.D. to blame. I'm sorry everybody, but I really had to let this one out of my chest.

C'mon people (65,718) by Edouard from France
It's Vegas baby. She can have some fun. I don't think that will be her look and attitude when she releases her new album. What's the problem really? I mean, throughout the Butterfly era Mariah wore flesh colored tiny tops and it was in 1997. Things were diffrent then, way more conservative. She wore crochet tops for Rainbow, dressing like an adolescent when she was 29. She dressed both like a Hollywood star from and 20's and as cool hood girl with The Emancipation Of Mimi. She wore tight yet not very revealing dresses with E=MC2. We all know how protective of herself and her body she needed to feel then. We all know the sad reason why. She's wearing skimpy outfits now because it's Vegas. She's a show girl, isn't she? And always has been. No one has a problem with Beyoncé wearing that kind of things. It think Britney Spears outfits are way less tastefull. I always thought Mariah's way to dress was a statement to where she's at in her life at the moment. She's actually very coherent with herself. She wouldn't wear something she's not feeling, not comfortable in. She's been working hard, on the stage and on her diet. She's confident and wanna share it. Applause.

Boobies and butts and turbans era (65,717) by RibbonB from USA
Not sure what came first the vibe or the name, but clearly we are destined to see lots of these body parts for the time being. At least the latest picture is from one of her show costumes. I wish they had shared more pictures of Martin Lawrence during his TMB moment this weekend. Meanwhile NIck is actually attending Howard University as a freshman. Can't wait to see pictures of Roc and Roe visiting him on campus.

Re: R-E-S-P-E-C-T, stop being petty (65,713) (65,716) by Musti from UK
You're so right. I was talking to a lamb last week who said we are not true lambs for creating/signing the petition or for speaking out against her antics. This person also said her non-ensembles are playful and that if she stops being herself she'll simply be Celine Dion. I'm sorry but at least Celine is well respected, even if she doesn't make chart oriented music. And she's got a great style too. It's not like Mariah is anywhere near scoring a hit by strutting her stuff or showing off her lavish lifestyle. Enough is enough. There are whole valleys and oceans between becoming "Celine" (whatever the hell that means) and cheapening yourself like Mariah. The woman is out to destroy her legacy. Her music has lost its relevance and has become highly repetitive. She has no style. Her public appearances are extremely awkward. She's obsessed with herself and everything expensive. What the hell is going on?

Enough is enough (65,714) by Giselle UrbanPoshBeauty from US of A
I can't believe Mariah has some little girl who's young enough to be my own child posting for her on Instagram. Misha's edits are typical teen amateur edits, it's awful. You can clearly tell she photoshopped her stomach and thigh and bum in the close up pic, it's a bad job too. Then those tacky new promo pics she has hung up all around Cesear's Palace with just a rob covering her. She tries way to hard to be sexy and it never works, it's all just screams tacky Long Island NY to me. Stella also badly edits her body on the gram too to make her waist small and bottom bigger, it's pathetic and badly done. At least someone who knows what they're doing edit them if you like. I'm tired of MC, I can't wait to hear new music but her personal self leaves a lot to desire.

R-E-S-P-E-C-T, stop being petty (65,713) by Marissa from USA
The real tea is the fact that the same people always complaining about why Mariah receives so little respect compared to other legends are the same ones that support an adolescent posting trashy, desperate and overly-edited photos of her on social media and will hold a grudge against you if you speak out against it. So many people wanted to use not signing or shitting on the petition as an opportunity for petty revenge against "negative" lambs but don't realize that they are shooting their own selves in the foot by supporting antics that put a ceiling on the respect Mariah gets. But keep being petty though while everybody but (caps) Mariah gets their due respect even though they have accomplished much less in comparison to her. All of these stunts are going to make Mariah yet another classic case of "she won't get the respect she deserves until she's gone".

Feeling second hand embarrassment for Roc and Roe when they grow up. These pictures were so unnecessary. Plus the edits are so obvious. I can't even defend it.

So fake (65,710) by Edward from USA
In the name of all that's holy, who the hell allowed that horrible photo-shopped picture to be posted on her instagram? Everybody knows Mariah doesn't have a booty like that, and besides, whoever photoshopped it, did a horrible job. At least get a professional. That ass look so unnatural to me, but it seems to be people in the her bubble will say yes to anything regardless of the damage it could cost. I never thought Mariah would pull a Minaj with her fake ass.

Re: Alison (65,704) (65,708) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
It's funny you of all people are telling me not to pretend to know things that I don't know. If you would take your head out of your conspiracy theory rut, you'd see my point was that since Alison was left with so much money, she could have helped herself and lived comfortably for the rest of her life if she wanted to but instead she chose to ruin her life and waste away the money. Whether Morgan got anything or not doesn't change my point. I wasn't talking about Morgan, my point was that people blame Mariah for having so much money yet not helping her sister, but her sister herself would not need Mariah's help because she had enough to help herself. So no need to be rude. Understand the overall message before you try to attack someone. Half of your messages are based on assumptions and conspiracy theories you conjure. If anyone tries to pretend things they don't know, it's you, not me. You and your so called sources have been proven wrong way too many times for you to try to attack someone else.

Re: Tragedy in Italy (65,705) (65,707) by Andrew from UK
Again, your use of idiomatic English. That's what is dfficult to understand. And now ironic, given that I just explained that to you as part of a message about you not comprehending simple things that are posted. If you can't keep up with the conversation - and it's clearly often a struggle for you, requiring embellishment and/or fabrications - best not to join in at all. On paper, speaking as someone who is almost universally panned or hated on this board, I should like you. You just aren't interesting, witty or intelligent enough to like. At the very least people like GG and MiMi L have those qualities. I attack Mariah when I think she acts like an [censored]. You attack her because you *are* one. You'd be wise not to debate me. You are clearly not up to the task, sweetheart.

While Empire suffered a sophomore slump it is still one of the most watched series on television. I just hope Mariah's character is likeable and that her song is amazing.

No idea where you get your info. Their dad left everything to Alison, her kids, and his companion at the time. Mariah and Morgan got nothing. Don't pretend to know what you don't know.

Re: Meet and greet mess (65,700) (65,703) by Andrew from UK
US$750 is equivalent to £575 or €675. That is patently absurd and unequivocally extortionate for a ten second photograph. It is completely taking advantage of the love some fans have for her. What kind of person does that? It's impossible to feel any sympathy for Mariah these days. Looks like she got over her sadness, though. Don't know what the world would have done without Mariah displaying her arse cheeks.
