Re: Nick Cannon responds to TMZ (63,073) (63,079) by TRAVON AUSTIN from United States
I have looked at California divorce law and New York divorce law. It becomes public record after 7 years in California law. It's not the same as a criminal offense where you can see someone's record. It's protected. If you want immediate access to a divorce record, you have to request it and pay for it. The judge either allows it or doesn't and that is why a official document is not available. If we folllow your logic of it being public record than a credible source wouldn't even be needed and this unecessary speculation without facts or merit to back the tabloids would apply. That also applies to this notion or speculation that it could be true. If there is no truth or facts to rely on, there has to be merit to base an opinion from. There is no merit to continue to speculate about this. That's been my point this whole time. Me saying they are divorced is me speculatung. You saying they are not divorced is also speculating. There is no official document. Therefore, whatever we think as fans or tabloids, it will still be speculation until proven wrong. Speculation is what causes rumors. I am not going to hop on any bandagon or hype from purely speculation. I have not been given a reason that they are not divorced nor have been given a factual reason that they are divorced. What I believe is based upon hints from Nick on several occasions and the seperation of unity itself. That is the merit I trust, not urealistic expectaions from fans or tabloids.

Brenda/J.Lo - just the facts (63,077) by Nikki from usa
Brenda did a radio interview with Wendy before Wendy got her show. She pretty much goes over everything in it. Brenda was hoping to get a finder's fee for discovering Mariah, but she didn't get it. After Sony dropped her she got into Salsa music. She was upset Mariah was making homemade popcorn on a string and sending it to everyone as gifts instead of expensive presents. Brenda was upset Mariah didn't buy her a house. Her music got a recharge after Mariah remade her song. Benny Medina made some obnoxious comments to her during the TEOM era and Mariah told her she couldn't control what he said, so Brenda left. She's been ticked ever since. It's noteworthy that BM is a force to be reckoned with, but the downside to that is he burns bridges professionally and personally. He's been fired from most major celebs within a couple years. J.Lo originally fired him for embezzlement.
Jennifer Lopez is credited as a songwriter. She co-wrote her first single and others from her earlier albums. Mariah never mentioned her culprits. Yellow Magic Orchestra did. They stated that no one had wanted their song before Mariah called for it and Jennifer Lopez called for it a month later. It wasn't "Tommy", "Sony", it wasn't "given" to her, no one held a gun to her head. She called for it personally. Which explains why this happened again with her in '05 with Usher. His song "Ride" didn't make the Confessions cut, but was a club banger. She took the music and some of the lyrics for her song "Get Right". Usher was ticked since this was his song that he co-wrote. He didn't give consent, he wasn't credited, and he was fuming that she best give him a royalty check.

Re: Andrew (63,075) by Nikki from usa
Oh, no, no, Andrew. I did talk facts. In fact, the entire post about her cornering the market for Christmas was nothing but facts and conclusions derived from them. You simply ignored all of them to focus on one sentence that referenced astrology and was even prefaced with, "for those that are interested". What's worse is you didn't even get the sentence right. It's planet(s). Plural, Andrew. A "planet" isn't a "horoscope". Yes, a planet can be discombobulated. Uranus is discombobulated as the only planet that rotates on its side unlike the other planets that simply rotate on a tilt. Remember facts and not just random suppositions? You didn't include any facts in your reply. You made an assumption and gave an emotional response before feeling the need to lie down. Clearly, the sign of a factual academic. You truly have a dizzying intellect. Perhaps you should lie down because you're acting like a cranky Scorpio with a Gemini ascendant.

Re: Nick Cannon responds to TMZ (63,049) (63,073) by Randy from USA
There has never been official paperwork. Divorces are a matter of public record, therefore since no one has reported that they are finally divorced, they aren't. TMZ may be off to the reasons why there's a holdup, but trust and believe there is a holdup that neither have publically admitted to.

Haha sarcastic and humorous. Thank you Andrew for your continuous love to be funny. You have meant the world to me since I was 3 years old. My life and career have benefitted greatly from you. It is very life-changing what you have said to me today. As a new member of this post with a brand new account, as of two days ago, I will be glad to take anything back from you. As Mariah Carey would say "We love everybody."

Re: Ensemble (63,069) (63,071) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
I agree, she has always picked out the best red dresses and I feel she looks gorgeous in red. She looks so much more confident. As for the feather/ruffles robe situation, it is giving me the billionaire's wife vibes. Haha you know how in TV shows and movies the rich trophy wives wear these elaborate robes over their negligees and walk down the spiral staircase (with the train of the robe trailing behind) or lounging on a chaise lounge. I think she might be using that one for TMB.

Shezz, the links I provided were from public accounts because I myself don't follow them but I can still view them. In case you are unable to see the pictures, you can search the Instagram account "Mariah Now (@mariahnow)" and check out the new outfits. Hope that helps.

Re: Ensemble (63,060) (63,069) by Licia from USA
I love the red and black one. Red is her color imo. She's always so stunning to me in that color and she always seems to pick the right style or type of red dress. I need to see the other ones on her before I can comment. Beige and a whole lot of ruffles or feathers (or whatever that mess is lol) is not a favorite, but it may still be nice on her.

I'm sure Wendy [...] salivating to get to this story. They laid it out on a platter for her, just in time for the Vegas shows. I suspect Wendy will be back with new shows this week after her memorial week off. Wendy can be hilarious so she should have a field day.

Re: Mariah Carey arriving and leaving after taping JK (63,053) (63,061) by Musti from UK
Thank you for sharing the video. I love seeing things like this. I can't even begin to understand what it must feel like for her having people screaming out her name everytime she's out in public. It has been this way for 26 years. Yet she still walks out all smiles, and she absolutely means it. I truly admire her for that.

She probably reads it but not a member yet or else we would get several "f*** you" or "empower your girls" posts. Stella isn't exactly known for keeping quiet and stopping herself from lashing out hahah. What with all the lashing out situations at lambs on her Instagram and then lashing out at tabloids.

Re: Deedre (63,044) (63,057) by Deedre aka MiTodoChop @HBF from Canada
I understand what you're saying. Totally. And I'm not knocking #1's and public relatability. If Mariah wanted things differently, she'd do different things. It all boils down to how success is defined too. Whether success be strictly about commercial markers or a much more experimental broader artistic approach. I'm open to all aspects of the spectrum. There is music I love that's deemed a huge commercial success. and then there's music I love (like in Prince's case) that is very obscure and didn't get much public attention. I don't label the more obscure as "flopping" I see them as successes in different ways, so it all depends on how one chooses look at things. For right now at least, Mariah's focus doesn't appear to be on new music. And to make fun of herself the way she does, she clearly understands that things like wearing a ball gown in a bathtub or a nightie during an interview, doesn't come across as "girl next door" approachable to some people. I just won't choose to be upset or angry with her about it. To me, it's wasted energy.

Re: Nick Cannon responds to TMZ (63,051) (63,056) by TRAVON AUSTIN from United States
Duhhh. I know how tabloids and credible sources work and that's not what I was saying. It's the divorce conversation in general. Ok. How could we imply that the story is true to begin with if the source has always been speculated to be Nick Cannon himself? If he has publictly said he will never marry again and that he is trying to move on single, then why is there still speculation about the divorce? I believe they are divorced. They have been divorced. The surpreme court/marriage court would never allow or release this information to begin with and the parties themselves would be penalized for any involvement of speaking publictly while currently going through procedings. The so-called credible sources would also be subject to penalties by the court for trying to falsely accuse and speak about active legal proceedings, including TMZ. It's the law. Thanks for your two cents though and deuces.

Re: Nick Cannon responds to TMZ (63,051) (63,054) by RibbonB from USA
Exactly. TMZ is not reliable. M has said they are not signed but obviously custody at least isn't final. She said on access they are still hashing put school and I suspect the next portion of her tour. They both should think twice about the kids in South America, what with the Zika threat. Mariah has said herself in recent interviews that the papers are not signed. Maybe she won't sign his terms. One or two years is not uncommon. It took Demi and Ashton almost two years and [...] had zero kids together.
