Bandaid (52,623) by Billy from Greece Remember back in 2008 when Mariah was wearing several bandaids (I think she had one when she was on Oprah)? At that time she said that her dog had bitten her. Looking at her hand in the recent interviews in Vegas, you can actually see in that part of her hand that there was something going on in the past. Could be some scars from that incident. Mariah school / help (52,622) by Ardis Logic from Earth It never fails. In the past Mariah would always put something in her songs that sent me running for the dictionary. (These days it's Google.) I'm sure some of you will think me to be strange for asking. What does MC mean when she says "Ain't none of my business, it's tea though."? I never heard that before. I don't watch a lot of TV and don't really listen to the radio much so I am a little out of the loop of modern slang and such. Thank you much for responding if you do. Peace and love. Promotion (52,621) by David F from Mexico Infinity needs to be sung at some TV shows since everyone else is doing. I think Mariah will let pass this one too. She is rich maybe. She is waiting for a miracle but the song started well, now it's falling. I don't see any TV performances coming. She needs to activate her emancipation attitude again like perform and perform otherwise it won't work. Radio is not enough, we need Benny Medina back or someone who can tell her girl to sing. Interviews (52,620) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter I said it a few posts back but I just had to say it again, MC is just doing so good on these interviews. She is owning up to her status as a legend, she seems to have left no questions barred. I mean they are asking her about her vocal issues, lip syncs, Nick Cannon and body and she is answering them all so calmly yet in an unapologetic manner. No more of the hair flips, using hair as a curtain, mumbling random things. Now she seriously comes across as a serious person, who knows her sh*t. She's confident and straight forward, composed and above all she is doing all these without making it look like she is trying too hard. (Thursday 30 April 2015; 17:28)

LC / I loved it (52,619) by Edward from USA LC, I know this is not directly Mariah related, but it is indirectly because I'm pretty sure you draw a few new words from Mariah's lyrics while growing up. I did love your essay and I voted twice with different email accounts. I did it twice because I think you did a great job in just a few paragraphs. I definitely echo the sentiment of your essay. What's with all the hoo har? (52,617) by MIAM from United Kingdom Ok so as usual there are mixed opinions and views as to what Mariah is giving us right now but we need to remember that she signed a multi-album deal with Sony. Infinity does seem like its only a "re-introduction" of Mariah back to the music scene as she didn't get any backing for her last singles, she needs something to remind everyone else, yes she's still here. So I don't think there should be any worry about if it will reach #1. There will be a lot more music to follow after this number 1's stint. When she gets back in the studio to do new music with a new direction with L.A. Reid behind her she will be on fire. (Thursday 30 April 2015; 16:02)

Backing tracks (52,616) by Lee from UK Was Mariah serious in that interview about her use of backing tracks? Was she honestly trying to say that the general public are confused about her use of backing tracks? Was she seriously trying to make us seem like we are the crazy ones for even suggesting she doesn't sing live? Her exact words were "I mean, I have so many overlapping parts and background vocalists and background things. There's always some confusion and something about it, but I mean like, if there's any confusion they're welcome to come to my house and sing in the shower with me. It's not a problem." I truly am sorry to hear Mariah basically deny the obvious use of backing tracks. This is worrying. There really is no confusion, the evidence is there. Music video (52,614) by Lee TS from USA I believe M said they're still working on it and filmed the beginnings of it. Let's not get too worked up about it, I believe they will release it in due time. Infinity isn't going to make a huge splash right away, what I do hope is that it can steadily build momentum. The lyric video is garnering up some views so that's a good sign. I really do hope that radio will receive it well and support when it gets added next week. Let's experience the thrills in increments like M once did, "Yay #57." (Thursday 30 April 2015; 15:16)

Reviews (52,613) by B from USA Since Infinity was released I've been reading every review I can find. The only negative thing that was written was that her voice sounds strained on the chorus which I think was done purposely, it sounds gritty and guttural, to add emotional depth. I'm loving this new song. Listen to it once or twice and it will be stuck in your head all day. (Thursday 30 April 2015; 15:09)

Ryan from Canada / Wendy (52,611) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter I don't know if people viewed the video "because" of Wendy, but here's what happened. In Wendy's recent episode, she talks about MC and Infinity and she reads out a few quotes from the song and says "she wins" (as in MC wins the fight between her and Nick). She also laughs at how Nick promoted the song not knowing its about him. So she goes on to state something like well if MC nails Vegas and all then she can make a comeback. So she looks at the audience and goes "Right?" The audience look a little apprehensive and they don't "clap loud" (clapping would indicate they agree that MC can make a comeback). So Wendy tries to be condescending towards MC and say ok I'll take this poll again and asks the audience if they think she can make a comeback. This time the audience claps like crazy and Wendy starts yelling that "You guys are two faced, you just said no. Tell me your real opinion." Then she asks them for the third time and they all say "no", which obviously delights Wendy to no end. Oh and MC's so called "in show" lamb at Wendy's, that guy Norman, again agrees with Wendy that he doesn't like the new song. Now I don't have a problem with people not feeling the song, but I feel like Norman just pretends to be a lamb so that Wendy can show people that even MC's fans don't like her. Anyways Wendy does add that this song proves MC doesn't want anything to do with Nick whereas previously one would feel sorry for MC that she desperately wants Nick back. Fans (52,610) by B from USA Out of ammo, got to (gotta) reload. Every complaint is the same. It's stale and boring on this forum. I have promoted this song on my facebook page and twitter and everyone that has listened to the song loves it. One girl thinks it's her best song since Touch My Body and another said it's her best song since the Butterfly album. Critisizing Mariah (52,608) by NHYTG from nyc About the issue of critisizing Mariah, some people don't get the picture here. Sure it's ok to discuss her music and it's only fair to be negative if she fails singing live or do some decent lip syncing. But is it really necessary to always judge the weight, the way she gives interviews, the clothes, the drinking problem she apparently has according to some fans, the way she raises her children (as if we know) to name a few things. Why already have a premature negative opinion about things that still have to happen, imo it's really silly to judge the Vegas concerts before there has even been one. Who are we to decide what kind of music she should be making or what producers she should work with? Shouldn't it be up to herself to make these choices? I think it's only fair to accept that Mariah is a 45 years old human being with human shortcomings and insecurities, that her voice is not as strong as it once was and that she is making (and loving) the kind of music that happens to be less popular these days. Giselle (52,604) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter By the way your name is one of my favorites. I always liked it. Anyways, I do agree with you about the dress. I get that it's Vegas and it's over the top, but MC could have had hundred of over the top dress choices if she wanted. That dress did not look great and in an event where she is the main and only star and all eyes (and cameras) are on her, this dress wasn't a wise choice because of photos from unflattering angles. The line of beads or whatever running across the the hip bone through the lower stomach area was very unflattering. The black dress she wore later fit her really well and she looked great in it. Also about Rachel, I have been wondering where she is too. She has always been around her. Not that I am dying for her to be with MC at the moment, before this era started I was going on about how I wish MC would drop Rachel as her choreographer. Rachel had no good choreography for Mariah. Good Morning Britain (52,602) by Luke from United Kingdom She's had an interview done for GMB which is probably going to be shown next week when her shows begin. This is the first type of promotion I've seen for her for a while for over here. This didn't happen when she was on the other label and the only other time she was featured was her lacklustre Christmas shows. She's interviewing really well, it puts a perspective on how muh she must have been dealing with just last year with her random/confused interviews. (Thursday 30 April 2015; 9:02)

It was me who mentioned it in one of my posts and I was just making a wild guess. While making the guess I had the Honey remix video in mind and so I just wrote it. It's a proper camera version where you can see them conducting the interview with the iPhone on a selfie stick. Anyways that one is clearer and without interruptions.
