Licia / Infinity (52,495) by Stacey from USA
I know you do. I realized after I posted my response I pretty much repeated myself again. Sorry. I didn't get my expectations up for this song and so when it dropped, I wasn't that disappointed.

Carey scope (52,494) by Ardis Logic from Earth
First of all I love the car, wow. I don't think I have ever seen a video shot by MC. It was hilarious. She looks like such a fun person to be around. Ryan was a lucky guy. It's funny she said "they told me not to be a B I T C H to you." Haha I love it.

19th #1 (52,492) by NHYTG from nyc
I think all this talk about a 19th #1 is premature. Let's not forget where she came from recently: Japan, Rockefeller and Jamaica have given her the worst press ever. People need to know that the voice is still there, she should sing Infinity live in some talkshows to regain credability. Maybe a great performance at the Billboard Music Awards? Still playing Infinity over and over, still growing on me.

Interview with Robin (52,491) by Ardis Logic from Earth
Thank you for posting the video. I really enjoyed seeing her talk about her babies. Being a mom is such an amazing experience, and that will always be there bringing her joy. Her face just lit up when she started talking about them. I like how she referenced The Beatles in the interview also. Very cool. Sending lots of love and luck to MC in Vegas. She looks stunning as always. If I could I would totally go see her in Vegas.

I'm just not feeling this song (52,490) by Abraham from USA
I was expecting something amazing like "Mine again" or "Don't forget about us". "Infinity" sounds tacky and below someone like Mariah. I just can't believe anyone from Sony would think it could be a hit. And I'm seeing people here giving it praise like it's the best Mariah has given. I hope Mariah can write something better and more mature. Please work with Sia or back with JD. It's normal for fans not to like every single thing an artist releases. But when their team hypes something up, people will end up feeling disappointed. I want the Mariah who wrote songs like "Can't let go" or "Don't forget about us". She's entitled to make the music she wants to make. But if it's going to be songs like "Infinity" I won't be buying the music anymore. I hope to all that is holy that she does okay in Vegas.

Voice (52,489) by JC from UK
Anyone else notice how tired and hoarse Mariah's voice is sounding? Maybe its because of rehearsals, hopefully she's not coming down with something again like the first stages of MIAMTEC tour. I really wonder if she's going to sing these songs live and not just revert back to her usual ways of lipping the big notes. Not really sure how Infinity will go down live but I'll be waiting and cheering her on. Wish I had the chance to go to see her residency.

Poor Mariah, to infinity and beyond (52,488) by IheartMC from USA
Firstly, I want to say I am a super lamb. Love me some MC through the good and bad. Now I don't love Infinity quite yet but I do like the song. It's one of those songs that will grow on you which I actually prefer. I understand she is giving something more current and it's a blend of old school and new school Mariah. I was somehow hoping for a killer dance track with sick vocals but somehow I don't think she is done yet. I am sure she has some remixes under her sleeve to please everyone. How much you want to bet song once promoted will become a hit. It may not be a number 1 song but it will be a moderate hit because there is simply no one else who has this sound on the radio right now. Kudos to her for achieving that at least. I love that she does not try to follow trends. She simply does what she loves. You have to factor now Mariah has nothing to prove anymore. She already collected records and broke several others. She is a legend and that cannot be taken away from her. Just simply enjoy this new chapter and era in her life. I for one am just appreciating that our favorite diva is still releasing new music when she could have simply retired after the way the media has been treating her as of late. Love you Mariah and long live the new era.

Undone mv (52,487) by Malcolm from Asia
I'm disappointed when Mimi says the music video for Infinity is still in the works. I thought they planned it for a long time, they shoot and finish it ahead of the release of Infinity. I wish the mv will don't look in hurry shooting it and making it like the lyric video. If the mv is already done, it will be helpful boost the sale of Infinity this week. But as we are saying on this board, what do we know? Maybe this is planned, I hope so.

Number ones (52,485) by OGmattyICE from US
Hi I don't post very often. Just from observing some folk, it's hard to fathom some fans go haywire if Infinity doesn't go #1. Take into consideration Mariah already has more #1's than any solo artist ever. I'm no sure what some of you are concerned with. I am very supportive and doing everything in my power to get it #1 and really hope it does, but if it doesn't peak at #1 I won't be disappointed. Get real with your expectations and be grateful she's still making an effort at what she loves.

Infinity (52,482) by Trish from USA
My main issue with the song is it doesn't get stuck in my head. I feel like the way she sings infinity at the end of the chorus was an odd choice because it almost makes the song lose momentum. That said I like the beginning and I'm glad she's having some fun with her music. I don't think a video will help this song but what do I know?

Mariah in Vegas (52,479) by B from USA
She looked so beautiful. She looked skinny. Making fools of everyone who claimed she was fat and had her album artwork photoshopped. She looks happy, healthy, and confident. She's in TEOM mode. Slay, Mariah, slay.

Japanese edition (52,478) by tadatorao from japan
The Japanese version of #1 To Infinity omits TGIFY and includes AIWFCIY. If disc space is an issue, they should have omitted I'll Be There instead. After all that is the only No.1 song not self-penned by Mariah and it is not even a studio track. Good news is that the original version but not the unplugged version of Someday is selected.

FDRMX Infinity review (52,477) by B from USA
As a single, Mariah Carey’s voice shines radiantly in the face of critics and haters even with sunglasses on. This song, without delay, shuts the door in every person’s face who say her voice dissipated. Of course, this song rewards with memories from the 5x Platinum album "The Emancipation Of Mimi". Fans waited patient for this precious moment, and she makes it all worthwhile, just wait for the ending high note.On the mid-tempo breakup song, cleverness remains. She swings a home run back into prominence with material worthy of sitting beside earlier material. Skillful songwriting divinely reigns supreme in the chorus.

Chill pill, anyone? (52,475) by this_is_qhm from the Philippines
Can we all just take a step back, take a deep breath, and just appreciate the fact that Mariah's still making music at all that still manages to top iTunes charts in several countries? How many artists of her age can actually say that? It's a testament to how many lives she still touches with her music, and shows who of her fans are always going to love and accept her no matter what she releases because they as much as they appreciate her music, they appreciate her more as a person and would gladly and even blindly do anything for her, including buy music that, judging from the polarity of responses, half the world apparently already thinks is crap. I realized I can be a bit of a hypocrite as well because as much as I criticize her out of love, I still feel like a kid in a candy store every time she releases new material, whether I happen to like it or not. I believe what we need now is a little bit of empathy. It can be exhausting for her to constantly try to live up to the standards she set for herself. That's difficult enough. What makes us think that she should always live up to our impossibly high standards as well?

Criticism (52,473) by Dove from USA
Okay so I listened to it all day yesterday and I do have some criticism now. Maybe I'm just nitpicking. There are certain lines I wish she would have enunciated and phrased more clearly. Such as: "Wouldn't have none of that without me tho." "If life was a game, you're a free throw." "Truthfully I'm through with this, why are we still doing this?" The part where she says, "Ain't no compliments, ain't no being friends, etc." She says "duh" after each line, but it sounds like she's saying da, like yes in Russian. I don't know how I feel about it. You guys are right, the production is rough. The music drowns out her voice and there are parts where the stitching together is painfully obvious. What is going on? The songs with JD on her last album were so good. I still bought the single and gifted it to friends and family to support her. But I'm worried. Hopefully the remixes will be smoother. RJJ12, it costs a dollar and it's not like she's dropping singles ever day. I stand by my opinion.

Video / TheOne (52,470) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
Now that I have seen the snippet, I am getting more impatient to watch it. All I could see was her getting her makeup done and a shot of her singing on a chaise lounge, and she looks gorgeous. I wanna see the "dangerous positions" they talked about in the articles. I wonder if she is waiting for the lyric video to hit 1 million before releasing the music video.
