Today show performances (43,691) by Kenny from Canada
Were pretty rough but I'm glad she got through them without lip synching (TMB and ABMB at least). She actually hit some of the harder parts but was kind of pitchy and I think that's because she can't hear herself over the band and the crowd. Loving the new song You Don't Know What To Do.

She does know what to do (43,690) by tadatorao from japan
It reminds me a bit of Now That I Know and would have fitted in Music Box perfectly. Haven't tasted this Mariah magic for years.

New song reaction (43,689) by Gilbert from USA
I'm not going to bash this song, someone made a comment about I'm That Chick Part 2 and I didn't think of that until it was mentioned. I think I could agree with that comment. It didn't fit my personal taste but as most of us agree that Mariah is giving everybody a little taste of everything. My personal favorite so far is Thirsty and I wish it would be available already, not sure why it's released on radio and not on iTunes. You think they would want to make some money. Anyway, I will try to hear new song again once I jam the album in my car, I might feel better about it then.

YDKWTD (43,688) by George Golden from UK
Finnally what I love. Mariah is at her best with uptempos like this. With an amazing video, this could go all the way. Next single please.

What happened was... (43,687) by Keagon michael from USA
Mariah has to perform hits too people. She can't please everyone. "You don't know what to do" was catchy and a great single choice in my opinion. This was just the start of her album promotion. I was hoping for "Thirsty" but I ain't no hater, so I will take what I get because the elusive... is coming in 11 days.

Today show (43,686) by Mara from United States
I think she did great. Whatever people may say, TMB was all live. No lipping there. Most of ABMB was live, not sure about YDKWTD, but there is no doubt that song has hit potential. It is catchy and you can't get it out of your head after first listen. Has that rnb sound too like TEOM. Brian Michael Cox worked with her on that so he brought that same vibe. I thought the interview was great too. She had her diva moments but stayed on track with the album and how it was for "us". I really think she tried to please her fans on this one and give her diverse fan base what they wanted. I can't wait to hear the rest. I just wish it was closer to the release. A nice early surprise digital release would be a dream right now. On a side note would, I love to see M go a little darker again. Sorry MC I know you love your blonde.

YDKWTD ft. Wale (43,685) by Brad from USA
Now this is what I am talking about. In my opinion, this should be the next single and served up immediately. It has everything. The right tempo, hook, vocals, guest rap (which is "bright" and keeps the tempo and doesn't distract from it). It reminds me of "You're So Cold" in that it is an unexpected uptempo that will get people up and moving. This song has made me excited for the new album. And can I just say how exciting it was to hear the debut of a new Mariah song through a live performance. For the nostalgia, people. I know Mariah is sorta throwing the spaghetti on the wall and seeing if anything sticks with this album, but I think this one has some sticking power in the pop arena. Lets enjoy it and be well.

Today Show (43,684) by Licia from USA
I'm a happy lamb. I cannot wait for the new album. You Don't Know What You Do is a jam. Four years was so worth the wait.

YDKWTD (43,683) by Marcel from Montréal, Canada
Do you MC? The song is ok actually a good tune, the sad part is she lipped the whole song. She couldn't even fully sing TMB. Really I don't know what happens to her, do I? And don't start saying we're haters or focusing on negativity, it is just what it was.

What just happened? (43,682) by Orkun from The Netherlands
YDNWTD, is this a joke? TMB was sung in a much lower key to begin with. That's the song she opens with? The new song is "I'm that chick you like" part two and it really really is a very bad song. "Baking like ham"? Are you kidding me?

YDKWTD feat Wale (43,681) by Alex from England
Damn, this is the song I've been waiting for, a summer smash, an instant catchy song. It is so reminiscent of her work from the 90's, finally a pop uptempo. I am elated and over the moon, I don't know how I'm possibly gonna go to work after all the emotion. This needs to be a single now, right now seriously. I hope I won't have to go through the same disappointment after Stay The Night and That Chick were never properly released.

Keep it going (43,680) by Darryle from USA
Yo go Mariah. I haven't seen the whole performance yet but from what I saw it's good. 1000 times better than the beautiful one. If you keep up the good performances and strong promo you could have a hit album on your hands.

You Don't Know What To Do (43,679) by Will from England
This song needs to be a single, like, right now. This very minute. This very second. I can't get this song out of my head because it is so catchy.

Tracklisting (43,678) by Paul from Usa
Go to Wikipedia and all the writers are mentioned. Cry was written by Mariah and James Wright. One More Cry is written by George Michael.

Today Show (43,677) by Paul from Usa
I was a little disappointed to hear her sing "Obsessed" and "Touch My Body". Sounded really really rough. I enjoyed "Don't Know What To Do". It reminded me of "Don't Stop"from a Glitter. I'm halfway through the performance. Hope a new song will be sung, or whichever one she sings is from her heart.

You don't know what to do (43,676) by Darryle from USA
This song is really good. I just heard if from the concert and it's so different. I wonder how long she's had it because I remember she was playing the lines: "I can give it to you but what you gonna do?" On the piano and then we get them in this song. Either way love the song. Mariah sounded perfect her voice sounds super strong.

The Today Show (43,675) by JC from UK
Looks like Mariah sang YM(E) and You Don't Know What To Do (ft. Wale). I'm only guessing she sang YM(E) because I saw a picture of her on top of a piano like when she sang on BET. I'm gonna be honest, I really wanted her to sing Thirsty but maybe she did and there's just no clips of it yet. I'm not a fan of YDKWTD though. Reminded me of Boy and Sprung for some reason. Also, I am rather annoyed at the fact that I can already tell she wasn't singing live judging from the pictures and clips on Instagram.

Today Show (43,674) by Licia from USA
She's singing another new song. The one with Wale. I thought she would do Thirsty but we get a whole new song. I'm excited.

Cry (43,673) by Darryle from USA
I don't think Mariah's Cry is Michael's Cry. Mariah's Cry has a period after it and I just can't see why should add one after a song that's not hers. Time wise Michael's Cry is 5:00 minutes and hers is 4:52, only an 8 second difference but still means a possibly shortened cover. While I don't think it's Michael's song, I do hope it is because Cry is a fantastic song and would be a fitting tribute to him.

Youre mine (eternal) remix / Beautiful remix (43,672) by Panos from Greece
I've just heard a remix of You're Mine Eternal that has become a favourite in Ukmix, called "Boyfriends So So Def remix" and I just can't get it out of my mind. If this isn't a fan made remix, what they were thinking and didn't release as the very first official remix. It's so late 80s-early 90s, yet it sounds so fresh and uplifting. I imagine driving and jamming to this during summer. Old school at its best. In my opinion, it's the best remix she's done after Triumphant dance remix and Beautiful feat. Young Jeezy remix. But I have to say I am also very disappointed they didn't release the 90s throwback remix of #Beautiful, we all (even Slant magazine) are looking for. But I have a feeling that they are going to release it, soon or later, in order to hype and tease us for the album. ? can't explain it differently why they released a year old remix and they are saying it's not the one that we are craving for. As Alex from England said, we must require repeatedly, in her facebook page, JT's page, Instagram, Twitter, everywhere this remix to come to surface. It's not impossible, especially now that she released an already year old remix of Beautiful. It's the right time. We can make it happen.

Cry / No Way Tired / faded sticker, Mariah Carey sticker (43,671) by PJW from The U.K.
Ah thanks, guys. I was aware of those songs. Although I'm slightly disappointed there won't be a gospel opener for a change, I just listened to "No Way Tired" and I'm sure it's gonna be a fanastic track. Thanks again. I also noted that "Faded" sticker and wondered but saying that, "Charmbracelet" had a "Yours" sticker on it and we all know that ultimately didn't happen (will we ever the JT mix?). Talking of stickers, I've still got my original "Mariah Carey" album (the first cd I ever bought) and the sticker proclaims "A new star has risen. Featuring the new single 'Vision of Love'." I knew I loved VOL but at that age I couldn't even perceive how long 24 years was, let alone how much joy this girl would bring me. I also got given a promo copy of "The First Vision" when it came out. It's in the cupboard now but says something along the lines of "Mariah has sold over 100,000 records". If only they knew what was coming...

Today Show (43,670) by Eternal from Italy
There's some speculation that a possible next single could be Faded, produced by Mike Will Made It. There's a sticker on some physical copies of the Target edition of the album highlighting Beautiful, YME, Thirsty and also Faded. Since Mariah's doing the Today Show in a few hours time, I really hope she sings a few songs off the new album instead of rehashing for the umpteenth time ABMB, WBT or MIH. My dream set list for her would be:
Thirsty
Beautiful (done without Miguel so it feels more like an MC song)
One More Try
Faded
Vision of Love
The last one to remind people that she's been around for the past 24 years, just in case someone forgets.

PJW / Michael Jackson's "Cry" (43,669) by Marky Mark from Australia
Cry is not a cover but an original written by Mariah and Big Jim Wright. The two covers are One More Try by George Michael and Heavenly which covers the Curtis Burrell song No Way Tired.

Re: PJW and Edward, the second cover (43,667) by Isabelle from USA
Cry. is not the second cover, because it is written by Mariah and Big Jim Wright, and not Michael and R. Kelly. The second cover might be Heavenly, maybe sorta of a mash up between the Mary Mary song and some other song. I think Heavenly will be built like I Still Believe (Pure Imagination Remix). Mariah possibly added some few words so the song would fit together.
