Duets (49,297) by Dove from USA I like the idea of the duets album but not with her biggest hits. I agree with Orkun that it should be obscure album cuts that should have been hits. I want for casual fans to discover new gems in Mariah's catalog and for lambs to rediscover them. I'm putting in my wish list right now of duet partners: Kelly Clarkson, Bruno Mars, and Agh. Maybe I'm reaching too far but I want duets with: Paul McCartney, Robert Plant, Jason Mraz, Fiona Apple, Brian Wilson, and U2. With new songs co-written with Mariah. Just the thought of that. Imagine the new sounds. I know she also needs to include newer artists to get the younger audience, but there could be some legends on there too. Everyone is struggling right now so I think it's a good chance to request experimentation from these big names. (Monday 19 January 2015; 16:54)

Duets (49,296) by B from USA I'm torn. I'm looking forward to her residency in Las Vegas and the reissue of #1's. If this duets album is going to work she needs Bruno Mars, Frank Ocean, Miguel, Usher, Justin Timberlake, and Beyoncé. I don't think redoing her songs is a good idea but I don't see her recording an album of covers so I think the duets album is a lie or someone's way of trying to paint MC as a has been that is desperate. #1's (49,295) by Dove from USA For the updated #1's, I like the idea of just the studio versions on it for newer listeners who only want a compilation album. Whenever You Call with Brian McKnight can be added as a bonus track to Butterfly and the first #1s can stop being sold. I also want a separate live album of the number #1s later on in the year that comes with a CD of the songs live and a DVD of her performing them. Or maybe all three discs can be sold together for $20. (Monday 19 January 2015; 16:44)

New single (49,294) by Dove from USA If there is no single, how are we going to get more #1s? Maybe a single can be released the same day the album is released? Do album sales go towards single sales? I think her singles flopped at her former record label because they weren't too invested in her anymore. #Beautiful, Thirsty, and MILG were all good enough to be, and should have been #1s. Maybe if there is a single, this time it will be heavily promoted on radio and TV with a really good video and live performances. People need to see that she can still sing. Someone can record her singing it live (like a sound check) at the Colosseum and post it on social networking sites. I wish the Ellen interview would have been longer so that people could see how cool, sweet, and funny she is. We need some TV specials. (Monday 19 January 2015; 16:43)

No single (49,293) by NHYTG from nyc I think the new version of #1's should be promoted as a whole, even if it includes new music. I don't think it's a good idea to release a single first, another underperforming single will be a terrible start for this new era. I like the idea of releasing #1's Live in Las Vegas, I hope #1's will be successful enough to be followed up by a live-album/dvd. (Monday 19 January 2015; 12:40)

MC iTunes categorization (49,289) by Reuben Walton from United States Why is the majority of MC's music on iTunes categorized under "Pop" when her style has almost always had major R&B elements. I guess maybe just because "Pop" means popular. Oddly enough, Mary J. Blige is always categorized as R&B/Soul, I don't know if Mariah's skin just isn't dark enough for them to consider what she does as R&B, but whatever. It offers some explanation about the voting members and process and how the recording academy is not responsible for the results. LA Reid / operation EOMM2 (49,287) by Edward from USA L.A. Reid has always been very supportive of Mariah. Under his guidance "The Emancipation of Mimi" was born. He was instrumental in putting Mariah's public image back into good light. Many thinks that Mariah shouldn't change anything, but it is evident that when she does things right, her look and attitude on Ellen, way different from the "Breakfast Club" interview attitude, things go right. L.A. Reid will make sure she reconnects with radio DJ's so she could have a chance should she come with good music. Now she needs a manager that she actually listens to and the rest would be putting all the pieces together. I have a very good feeling about 2015 for Mariah. I say no to a duets album (49,284) by Nina from USA #1) I don't want to hear Mariah's classic songs rehashed, because they won't surpass the original. #2) I know she must have so many good songs forming in that extremely talented head of hers. She must have major material following her breakup with Nick. #3) I'm a die hard fan, but I can't see myself wasting my money buying any duets album she might release. MC looks great / little kids MC tribute (49,283) by JAXGH from United States Oh my goodness. Her hair on the housekeeping outfit reminds me so much of the Daydream era. She literally looks the same from when she sang Hero in Tokyo Dome at 1996. It's actually ridiculous how much she looks the same in 20 years when wearing the same hairstyle. She really does take great care of herself. It's all natural too, no plastic surgery. Anyway look at these little kids singing "Can't Take Away From Me". Best tribute I've seen. Duet album (49,279) by Cgee54 from Usa I would love the duet album if it's done right like Toni Bennett duet album which he re-recorded and rearranged to fit his voice and his duet partner. If Mariah does a copy and paste how good of a duet album would that be? Also she needs to pair herself with real singers and not gimmicky intalented singers cough cough Justin Bieber. Madonna (49,275) by Dove from USA I would like to see Madonna and Mariah reenacting their feud on SNL. I don't see them being friends but they can at least be "cool" and put that feud behind them, on TV, with a joke. The only Madonna albums I've ever owned are The Immaculate Collection and the one that has Ray Of Light but I can appreciate that she's also a legend with a huge fandom. Putting it behind them would be good because that comment Mariah made in 1995 always gets brought up as an example as to why Mariah is not nice. (Sunday 18 January 2015; 5:06)

Billy (49182) / debut album honors concert idea (49,274) by Dove from USA She's the only popular artist of today I could think of who could do justice to Vanishing when I wrote that, but it doesn't have to be her - maybe Jojo or Sarah Bareilles? I'm just thinking MC should put her catalog to work. Having different artists sing the songs MC wrote for her first album would breathe new life into those older songs and show/remind people how good a writer she's always been. It will also put to rest the misconception that Mariah feels threatened by other female artists. I'm thinking of the concert where Mariah sang If Only You Knew/Somewhere Over the Rainbow for Patti LaBelle. MC can just be in the front row, looking stunning, enjoying her songs being sung by some of the best singers, whom she inspired. Before each performance there could be a short interview clip of each artist talking about how they were inspired by MC. Those singers have their own fandom who will be introduced to Mariah Carey's music, if they haven't been already. I think all of the artists I listed have been inspired by Mariah except for (maybe) Taylor Swift, but I still included her because Prisoner sounds like it could have been on 1989 and everyone likes Taylor. Her image is perfectly cultivated, she always seems sweet, she never bad mouths anyone, she seems intelligent, she's photographed hanging out with celebrities but also with regular people, etc. I think it would be a good opportunity to focus on tthe songwriting while honoring the queen.
