CD+DVD, Sony and divorce (49,245) by Luis from Spain Wikipedia named her upcoming project "Mariah Carey's #1's" despite no official name has been announced. I think it should include her videos for the first time ever. Mariah is the only legendary artist I know that has not got a proper music video compilation. As I mentioned the other day, it seems to be a Sony plus Universal catalogue, nevertheless, if she is releasing new material, Universal is very likely to be distributing the album while licensing Sony's tracks. We will wait and see. Apparently, Nick filed for divorce one month ago when the whole Rockefeller thing happened. Maybe it was true that she was having a rough day. I hope her divorce is done for good for both. She seemed to be really happy despite things turned bad from her injury on. Here it is my viewpoint on her marriage: if you marry an immature guy, it cannot end up well. I wish them well though. (Saturday 17 January 2015; 0:59)

Vegas is great but... (49,243) by Darryle from USA I hope Mariah has more lined up to celebrate MC25. I for one know I won't be going to see Mariah in Vegas and I'm sure there are others that won't be able to as well. It would be sort of lame if the only thing we got was a #1s album and 2 new songs. Hopefully we'll get some demos or a video collection to go along with the album. Obviously getting an album from Mariah is celebration enough but some unreleased stuff would really put the icing on the cake for those of us who can't make it. (Friday 16 January 2015; 23:00)

"One More Try" (49,240) by Billy from Greece Am I the only one that gets a lump in their throat just with the opening bars of "One More Try"? The original song is obviously gorgeous, but Mariah's version. It is this album's "The Beautiful Ones", primarily in terms of meaning and significance at the point that it was recorded. Mariah is totally "naked" in this song, showing what a brave artist she really is. Especially when she's whispering "who's the teacher, I'm the student", I just lose it. Such an emotional song. Mariah on Ellen hilarious as always (49,238) by May from Denmark I have to say I almost fell from my chair when I saw Mariah in the cleaning service dress, she looked fun, relaxed, having a great time but what made me die of laughter was the woman who said "I think it's Mariah. Haha nice try B (49,236) by May from Denmark Thanks B, I already kinda found out. The Pearl had four shows while this one will have 11 runs on fixed days (for now) and if all goes as expected it will close with a couple more shows until July 26th. I was wondering what was the difference because I thought it in a span of like 2 years haha (something like living there), so I was confused. It's the first time I hear about it as I never followed any other artist before who has done a "residency" and since Mariah said that it was a new experience I imagined something else. All I can say is that now more than ever would love a DVD from this upcoming event, it's been a long while since the release of an official one. (Friday 16 January 2015; 21:31)

It all landed on my birthday (January 15) and once I arrived to work I noticed her tickets were already going on sale so I rushed as fast as I could and had some trouble with the codes but eventually I did get through so I will be seeing Mariah on May 13, 2015. I was referring to the one she wore in 2008. It was red and basically very similar to the one she is wearing on this episode. Both looked stunning on her. (Friday 16 January 2015; 10:18)

Mariah, she's on fire (49,226) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter MC looked so good on Ellen. Gorgeous, glamorous, confident and perfect. She really did look flawless. From the hair, makeup to the dress, everything was on point. I love how the dress is quite similar to the red version she wore on Ellen the last time she went there. MC looked half her age. The one with the hotel maid sketch was also perfection. I loved the hairstyle, something I haven't seen her do before and I loved how she was so playful and funny. This is why I love MC on Ellen. I think the best accessory MC had on was her gorgeous smile. In the past few months, I felt that eventhough she was smiling, it was not genuine because she was in a lot of pain. But she seems to have shaken it off. I am so happy for her. Oh and I loved how she said "ofcourse" when she was asked if she will party with Britney. (Friday 16 January 2015; 10:05)

Ellen / LV (49,224) by Dove from USA Mariah looked perfect on Ellen. She was happy, confident, and glowing. There is nothing I can add that hasn't already been said here. Her hair and make up was perfect. The color and cut of the dress were super flattering. Her mood was great. I feel like I'm dreaming. This new era is off to a great start. Using older pictures is fine because it's a retrospective concert. (And because I love that picture.) I am definitely going to see Mariah in Vegas because I believe a true fan supports their favorite artist's projects. I can feel that this residency is coming to us from a place of love and it's going to be amazing. She's been there for me my entire life (practically) and now I'm going to be there for her, today and always. Fans: if you can afford to go to this please do not miss it. Caesar's can still sell a lot of tickets to locals and casual fans who are in LV for other reasons but the real fans should be the ones experiencing the amazing-ness that's about to go down. Mariah I love you and I always will. I am shining my light on you and praying for your happiness. #1s re-release and about Glitter (49,222) by Isabelle from USA I'm assuming that Mariah owns or co-owns her master recordings under Universal, reason that her name is next to copyright and sound-recording copyright symbol is with the label she is signed to. So she wouldn't really need Universal's approval to go ahead with this project. I really don't like the idea of other lamb's suggesting she should add demos of the songs or newly resung songs versions of her #1s because she done that with Hero. I want her to save her those demo versions or resung to her studio albums re-releases. The content in the album should be the 18 #1s with their music videos, her decision to keep or not the non-number ones hits from the first release along with the newly recorded music and have a documentary or commentary of her songs. I was looking around and found an article in NY Times about how Mariah basically received all 100% of profits that Glitter made by them paying her to dissolve their contract with her. It also says artist would no longer receive another dime from their music even if all investments are paid off that's why artist some money upfront when doing contracts. No wonder she never acknowledges that Glitter album. There could have also been re-recording restrictions. (Friday 16 January 2015; 3:26)

I think this time in Vegas and the new #1's album is an absolutely fantastic way to celebrate such a wonderful and successful career. Well done Mariah. You worked so hard for this, went through so much, suffered both personally and professionally, yet you still shine and glow like the star that you are. I love you so much.
