Jeremey (41,204) by Justin from USA - Los Angeles
By the looks of it, the main version of You're Mine is doing much more successful in the US iTunes charts. It currently sits at #11 while the remix featuring Trey Songz is at #36.

Understanding the video (41,203) by Ryan from the Philippines
I actually like the video. It's simple yet classy. As I understand, Mariah plays as a goddess (mermaid and butterfly) who fell in love with a guy from the city played by Trey. I disagree that it's another vanity video, it's actually so emotional.

Word premiere of Youre Mine music video (41,202) by Justin from USA - Los Angeles
Mimi released the main version of her music video via MTV today in over 100 different countries across the globe. Giving meaning to the name global superstar. The video was shot in the jungle with Mariah naked through out most the video. This is the best I have ever seen of Mariah in a music video. It very much reminds me of Ill Be Lovin U Long Time music video. As always Mariah looks flawless. The video is posted as of now exclusively by MTV online.

Song structure (41,201) by enwar00 from usa
We all hear things differently so I literally may be the only person that feels this, but I'm loving how You're Mine has an interesting song structure. Like I thought the chorus was three different verses until I read the lyrics and realized it's the same lyrics she's just singing them differently. I just think it sounds so cool. Ok so that and how the hook is so contrasted with the chorus reminds me of Alone In Love. I always felt that Alone In Love was interesting because the choruses are so soft and then the verses are much louder and where it builds. Just thought I'd blab and share. Beause I'm excited. Beause I love it.

Edward and Amazon (41,200) by enwar00 from usa
I am also waiting to get You're Mine off Amazon. Apparently, they won't have it until the 13th. Ugh your EP tracklisting made me realize that I had all those songs in different places like my old phone, old iPad, etc. I only have TAOLG on my current phone. I need to get it together.

You're Mine (Eternal) (41,199) by Isaac Ortiz from USA
So I saw Mariah on MTV for the video debut. It was great seeing her. She looked beautiful and her hair was on point. But is it me or was she a little tipsy lol? She was in diva mode and I loved it. As for the song and video, I'm not crazy for the song. It's okay, but that's fine. The video was nice. Mariah looked great. I felt it completely. I personally think that she is saving the best for last, which is on the album.

YME video (41,198) by Paul D from USA
I was thoroughly bored with the new video to You're Mine (Eternal), as it basically featured Mariah "look at me" emote for the camera, mostly while squatting. The only part I enjoyed was the brief underwater moment of her swimming. Trey Songz's scenes didn't even seem connected to hers. However, I hope others enjoyed the video, because of course I want the song to succeed. I listened to it for the first time today, and quickly purchased it on iTunes.

My two cents (41,197) by Randy from USA
I am a bit deflated. First of all, the single is nice, but it's not undeniable. My problem with it not being undeniable is that in the current music climate that means your album could be pushed back when it doesn't hit the top 10. I want an album on May 6 because as we have all learned Mariah does great albums even if the single choices are meh. I do wanna say that the remix is more interesting than the original. The video is boring and I am more attracted to Trey Songz in it than her though. I'm not for all the glitter and the dry wavy hair. The interview on Breakfast Club and with Sway on MTV doesn't show her in the best light but hell, I drink alot too. Good luck MC.

Music video (41,196) by Ms. Giselle from USA
Yippie! Another "vanity" shot video. Last video we had that actually was good and went with the song was Obsessed. As for the song, I love it.

Mariah recently (41,195) by Jono from USA
So I just watched the video of her on The Breakfast Club and I know a lot of people are giving her flack for the way she acted, but I think she was just being herself. I'd much rather her showcase her goofy personality than to be completely media trained and robotic, which can be really boring. The public perceives her as this over the top diva, which I'm sure she plays it up, but this interview really showcased how fun she is. Now regarding "You're Mine", I absolutely adore it. It's so smooth and sensual; I think Mariah has really hit a groove on her recent songs and if her album is going to sound like that and #Beautiful and The Art of Letting Go, it's going to be killer.

Remixes and charts (41,193) by Justin from USA - Los Angeles
Usually they get treated as two different songs, but since this isn't like a dance remix and it's still in the same genre, they might just count it as one song. But I think that just one song will really catch on. I don't believe both of them will have as much success as the other.

Remixs and charts (41,192) by Jeremey Carey from United States
I'm new to looking at the Billboard charts, so will the remix and the regular version of the song be treated separately or will all the views for the individual versions count for one position on the charts? I hope everyone is enjoying the new song as much as I am. To me it's like a piece of "Hate u" with a splash of "We belong together", and the fresh sexy feel of "Touch my body", but with current Mimi vocals. And don't the pictures from her music video make her look like some kind of sexy fairy? Lol maybe it's just me. I can't wait to see it. And her performance on Friday!

Corrections (41,191) by Courtney from USA
The Art Of Letting Go is technically Mariah's 11th studio album, not her 14th. The MTV Unplugged EP and her two Christmas albums plus numerous compilations don't count. Lets see if You're Mine Eternal can hold it's place on the iTunes chart until the end of the tracking week Sunday night at midnight and where it debuts in the Billboard Hot 100 next week. If it and two later singles from the album end up #1, she breaks the Beatles Hot 100 record of 20 #1 singles. Though there are artists in genre specific charts like hot Country songs who have more than 20 #1 singles, including Tim McGraw who has 35, his most recent being Southern Girl in summer 2013, mind you two of those are duets with his wife Faith Hill as in 1997's It's Your Love and 2001's Angry All The Time.

You're Mine (41,189) by Terna from Nigeria
I Love it. It's sleek and mellow, just really a lovers' jam. Melodic wise, it's very catchy and sits in your mind with just one listen. Just beautiful. I also love how its hooks aren't even obvious, and those vocals are on point. Mariah Carey is indeed a music genius. Currently it sits at No.11 on iTunes USA so I guess it resonates with the general public. Congrats Mariah for yet another gem added to your already vast body of work. Lots of love.

Mariah vs Lea (41,188) by Justin from USA - Los Angeles
Mimi isn't the only singer who recently came out with a single titled "You're mine". Lea Michele released the single off of her Louder record. The two songbirds were battling it out on the iTunes Charts in the US. However Mimi won, she is currently sitting at #11. However, Lea's single fell off of the iTunes charts so fast, she is now at #72.

I love it (41,187) by Andrew crisostomo from Canada, niagara falls
I love You're Mine. Very sweet and romantic. I can't wait to see the video. I also think it will be successful on the radio. It'll get airplay, it grows on you the more you listen to it I think.

YME (41,186) by Brad from USA
Hi Lambs. I hope everyone is well and treating one another with respect. I would give YME 2.5 out of five stars. I was hoping for something groundbreaking but it's not horrible. My interest is in seeing if this track and MC make it to radio for an extended period of time, not just 1 day. I do wish the vocal track had been laid on top of the synth track, its a bit buried. Music reminds me of HATEU, which to me, is a far better song btw. Anyhow, lets just enjoy it for what it is. She owes us nothing and vice versa, but we both are happier when things are succesful. Be well.

Carlos / YME (41,185) by Elena from The Netherlands
Carlos, I agree with your comments. I think Mariah is playing safe with this song for the charts and kept it radiofriendly. I don't really like it for several reasons. Sometimes a song is a grower, but this really won't do it for me. The first thing I don't like is the pauses between the words "I.can't.seem.to.give.you.up.you're.mine". It's not creative and makes it sound boring. I also think this song has a more B-side quality and it's too safe played using a combination of WBT and TMB formula's. It might work for the charts, but as an addictive listener of all her music I'm more critical to what she brings out. Vocally she sounds good on it but it gets a bit overwhelmed by the music and effects. I imagined this song played unplugged with a guitar leading the melody and it instantly sounded better in my head. I think a second Unplugged is really what she should go for, and show off her creative adlibbing skills to gain back the respect that she deserves for her incomparable voice. The last thing I want to add is that I wished she would've done is release an epic hot uptempo track that would keep her momentum going up untill the 6th of May. Something that would rock the clubs and radio. 2 months is a long time and unless YME becomes the hit everyone is hoping for, the gap between the single and the album is too long. All in all I'm glad it's received well by most of her fans and I hope it will do well regardless of my opinion on the song.

You're Mine versions (41,184) by Gerome from Canada
It's interesting that the original seems to be more melodic than the remix in terms of the piano ticks a la We Belong Together. The remix is quieter and more vocally driven but with much more interesting sequence and arrangements mainly because of Trey's verses. Both stand out on its own. Beautifully. MC is a genius. I'm loving the "My... m-ayyy..." at the intro. Pure heaven. The racy beat all throughout the song is infectious.

Blah (41,182) by Trish from USA
Mariah has been stuck in a We Belong Together rut ever since it went number one. Same theme, same build, same disconnect. Her music is so molded these days, it doesn't carry any emotion. She needs to stop comparing herself to herself, We Belong Together was a special moment but it was 10 years ago, could we move on please? I hope it does well, I'm just bored of the whole concept.

The single (41,181) by Anonymous from
Didn't exactly fell in love with it at first listen but I know it will grow on me, that's happened a lot with her material in the past. I like the remix version better because there's a lot more happening on that one vocally and they sound hot together. I honestly think that could be a bigger hit. Hit or not, I'm so excited that Mariah is back, that's all that matters to me. I'll always support her. The new video looks amazing from the screen caps. That's no surprise, she's gorgeous.
