Mariah Christmas shows (48,501) by Anthony Carey from U.K Hi guys. First of all Happy Holidays to you all and can I just say how excited and thrilled I am to have the opportunity to get to see Mariah's Christmas show on both Sunday 21st and Monday 22nd even though I got to travel all the way over from the UK. A question I wanted to put out there is do you think she will have any merchandise available? I am so hoping she does especially as the length of shows has extended and it is a money making opportunity for the companies involved. I also wanted to say a little bit on the Rockerfella performance. I am a huge fan of Mariah, her music everything therefore I don't feel the desire to "pick" every performance apart. I love her for who she is and anytime I hear her sing live is exciting and a blessing. These people who criticise saying it was not perfect must be tone deaf however that is besides the point really. I just want to say life isn't perfect, we all have our off days etc I for one think she has nothing to prove. I can't help but feel that society as a whole likes to add pressure on everything. Paul / the meet and greet (48,500) by Edward from USA Paul, I was originally going to the concert on Tuesday the 16th, but I'm going on Sunday the 21st instead. I switched tickets with a friend, since she realized she wasn't going to be able to make it, and I didn't want her and her daughter to miss it. If I were you, I wouldn't stand there in the freezing cold waiting to get a glimpse of Mariah, for you might never get to see her. Mariah will be playing two nights in the row, yours being the first one, and most likely she'll be jetting out of there as soon as she hit the last high note on the show. I love the fact that Mariah is keeping herself busy with these concerts. Sitting home thinking about a failed marriage wouldn't be a very festive idea. (Sunday 14 December 2014; 0:37)

Meeting Mariah (48,498) by Paul from Usa Hello fellow lambs. I get the chance to see Mariah perform on Monday, in NYC. What is the chance and likelyhood that I'll actually meet her outside of the venue before the show? It it worth standing in the blistering cold just for her to run in because she's cold herself? Or does she enter through a private entrance? Please keep in mind it's going to be 30 degrees F in NYC that night. Any and all tips for meeting our queen are welcomed. Thanks. AI, Darryle (48,495) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter At first I thought the Minaj Carey fight was scripted but now I think maybe it was real or got real at some point. If the fight was scripted, they would have a scripted "making up" session. But it has been 2 years and still no reconciliation. I do agree that maybe it kind of makes MC look bad because while Nicki is on good terms with almost all female artists, MC has always stuck to collaborating mainly with only other male artists. Nicki Minaj fight (48,494) by Darryle from USA Does anyone else think the American Idol fight is fake? They collaborated on UOMF and we all know how Mariah is. She won't collaborate with females unless she has the upmost respect for you. Since they collaborated she's gotta have respect for her. Which means there should be no reason for Mariah to feel disrespected if Nicki was put on the same panel as her. I also think they hinted at it on the show. Ryan Seacrest asked what would a Nicki and Mariah duet would sound like and Nicki and Mariah started being playful and did some UOMF type of stuff. If it was a scripted fight I think Mariah should come forward and say so. I think the feud is one of the reasons the GP dislikes her. They think she's petty and insecure for fighting. Queen of Christmas (48,493) by Darryle from USA I think the reason people call Mariah queen of Christmas is because that's the one thing you know she'll always promote. It's the one thing constant about her career. This year she didn't promote her album but she did promote her Christmas albums. If all of Mariah's future album or song didn't chart none of that would matter because her Christmas albums would. Obviously she's not only the queen of Christmas. Queen of Christmas (48,492) by Gloria from Hong Kong I find it an enormous compliment. There are many holiday albums out there, but Mariah's position is secure, popping up on charts. Her song AIWFCIY is really a Christmas icon, playing everywhere (I mean globally) and people know the lyrics so well. I think that's why her performance has become a scandal when she "failed" on her epic signature song. BTW, isn't it funny that when people are claiming her career is over and she is ill, an extra Christmas show is added due to huge ticket demand? Nice move. NYC Christmas concerts (48,490) by Stacey from USA So jealous of you guys who get to attend the NYC Christmas concerts. Enjoy. I attended the final concert of the Charmbracelet tour on December 22 and saw her perform AIWFCIY. I would love to see her do a type of concert (ala Unplugged), breaking down each song into a more acoustic arrangement. (Saturday 13 December 2014; 8:04)

Mariah Carey the queen of Christmas (48,488) by D.D. from USA I would just like to say that when it comes to Christmas music Mariah is my favorite, ever. I go to her MC and MC II You albums and start playing in them November. Yes around Thanksgiving actually. It's never too early to start getting into the spirit and enjoy some of the best Holiday music. I think Mariah does it best, her second Christmas album is my favorite because as someone mentioned here recently it's more soulful and cohesive. One Child, Oh Santa., Miss You Most, When Christmas Comes, Jesus Born On This Day, and of course All I Want For Christmas are my some of my favorites, the songs that are not considered "classics" yet someday will be. She's got a powerful voice suitable for this music and it makes Mariah happy to record these songs. I listen to the albums and they do put me in a good mood and even make me sing along. Those who don't have these two Christmas albums are missing out. There are even great remixes to her Christmas singles. So So Def remix is damn good. I wish she would record another Christmas album with all original songs. I wish... Merry Christmas to all and support Mariah. (Saturday 13 December 2014; 4:51)

It's going to be refreshing to hear her sing Christmas songs. I think that other than "AIWFCIY", she'll be tapping more into the second Christmas album, her present voice is more suitable for it. Divorce cancelled (48,485) by christine from USA I think the article is a bunch of bull. The reasons they give for Nick wanting to get back with Mariah I just can't believe. I could see him saying he doesn't want the kids growing up in a broken home, so that would make sense. I am hopeful they will work things out and reconcile simply because I enjoy them as a couple and enjoyed the family pics they would always post. I've been so sad for them since their separation. I'm sorry but I have to (48,482) by B from USA I listened to Bey's self titled album and it's awful. People are questioning Mariah and letting Bey slide after releasing that train wreck. No wonder she did that surprise release, if people had the chance to hear it they wouldn't have bought it. And radio is playing her songs and her videos look cheaper than You're Mine (Eternal). If the public had heard Mariah latest it would have outsold Bey's. I guess being Jay Z's wife has its perks. I miss the old Bey who wrote catchy songs and didn't try to be Rhianna for sales. The Elusive Chanteuse Show revenue (48,476) by 123 from USA Does anyone know how much this tour grossed? I would think that Mariah made a pretty penny off of this tour. While other artists spend an arm and a leg on production, elaborate sets, and costly performance numbers, Mariah keeps it simple. It just shows her genius as a business woman. Instead of spending all this money on distractions, she keeps the focus on her voice, whether it's in good or bad shape and pockets the rest. She doesn't need a lot of stage hands and basically just has a band, some back up dancers, and jumbo screens. At first I thought it was a bad idea for her to go on tour, but I'm glad she did. She got to work on her voice and stage presence again and visited places she has never been. I'm sure her fans in those venues loved it. (Friday 12 December 2014; 7:55)

Baby / Benny Medina manager idea (48,475) by 123 from USA Thanks Baby for the welcome back. It's great that we can all rally for Mariah. After seeing worst performances from Japan to her slowly but surely get better after every show, she had performing really well and regained like 75% of her voice. Of course she still played it safe but when she did go for the notes, she landed a lot of them. She just had a bad day and was fine in her mid range. At least it was live and rather an honest performance than a lipped one. I was reading your posts and I can say, you are a true Sequoia in the name of Mariah and I love it. Benny Medina as her manager? No way. He was good while the focus was on Mariah's voice and music (Return of The Voice promo) but then started marketing her like JLo in 08 having her plastered all over the tabloids about her quickie marriage when the focus should have been on the solid piece of work that was E=MC2. She had the right music for that era and that should have been pushed the most. JLo's music isn't doing well either and sold less than Mariah this year with all that promo so I don't believe Benny is the right manager for her. (Friday 12 December 2014; 7:35)
